Neat! I really hope it will be implemented at some point. The design for the building is really cool.

I was playing a NG+ few hours ago and got to what I think must be the sauna building. The windows on the left side are pink and the windows on the right side are blue. I can't go in and there isn't a notice saying "you can't come here yet" indicating I can go in at a later point - it's just there and you're unable to interact with it. I don't remember it being there at all in my first playthrough. So idk what the deal is, but was surprised that the sauna indeed exists after all.

Also playing Blue Lions. Sylvain has been an absolute champ. I haven't promoted him to a dark knight yet and am honestly afraid to, haha.

I was genuinely excited for Gilbert since his design and personality/backstory appealed to me, so I'm really crushed by this news. I like Lindhart so I'll happily go with him instead. It just sucks that he really, truly is our only m/m option. I wouldn't be quite as upset if Alois and Gilbert's supports weren't universally hyped all over as being same-sex romance/marriage. Did no one writing about these supports actually see them through to the end? Did they just assume that s rank = romance since that's how it was in previous games? 😞

No one expects it to! "Making a statement" isn't why some people no longer want to play in English as male Byleth. Some players would just rather play the game in a way that lets them avoid hearing his voice, since the options are there. The news doesn't change my plans to play the game in English as male Byleth, but if other people feel differently now then that's their choice. They've paid $60, they can play the game however they want to for whatever reason they decide.

The reviewer said that your Charm stat level would influence a story decision on the Golden Deer path. He didn't say anything about there being a split or branching path.

I also agree in "innocent until proven guilty," because I've seen how people abuse others' good faith by making callout posts for petty reasons, or callouts that are outright false. In the end, those types of callouts just make it harder for actual victims to get support or have their legitimate concerns be taken seriously. In Chris's case, I do think it's just as important that people at least be aware that the allegations against him aren't just over him being "an asshole" or "a showboater." Unfortunately, like people on this thread have pointed out, it's very easy for the wrong people to use callout culture to their advantage. In the grand scheme of things, I personally don't think they accomplish much besides causing drama and confusion. Edit: the thing about "at least he apologized and will hopefully improve himself" is that abusers will admit to wrongdoing if it will benefit them; it doesn't necessarily mean they are actually sorry. I do believe people deserve second chances to prove they've learned from past mistakes. But that requires more than just a calculated apology as damage control.

I've only played Awakening so I can only speak to that. There isn't a comparison to Three Houses. Awakening didn't ask you to choose whether to align with Chrom, or Robin, or Lucina and pitch them as being equally important. They were all on the same side so yes, it made sense for Lucina to have more of a deuteragonist role to Chrom and Robin. But the whole draw of Three Houses is having the choice of whose side to take, and seeing the ramifications of that choice. One house being pushed as more important or having more options than the others undermines the point of providing a choice in the first place.
