Fair enough, bad gameplay does reflect poorly on the plot-Note that I only complain about the plots for games that I disliked from a gameplay perspective; even though FE6's plot isn't very strong, I rarely criticize it.

Eh, not really. They're more like, "Welp, that's a rip." I personally found that plot point to be underblown quite a lot, as it's touched on for quite literally two lines. They did a good job with Eagler, though. I feel like gameplay-story separation is important-Take the Pent chapter, for example. That is one of the most boring chapters in the game-I'd rather just have a cutscene or two where Pent does something godlike-Sorta like how Zephiel destroys Cecilia, which leaves a lasting impression. I find that frequently, the Gameplay-story integration makes the game play more like a book than a game, which I have a problem with. FE4, for example, suffers a lot because of it in my opinion. Being totally segregated is a problem too, (The black fang acting more like an army when they're supposed to be an elite group of assassins, for example, not to mention that 99% are absolutely pathetic) but some looseness is nice.

It sold really poorly to the point that even Berwick Saga did better despite not being sold in North America; I'm not sure that the fanbase in Japan has shifted its perspective. Then again, none of the games in the franchise have sold particularly well pre-awakening. Maybe resellin them would yield different results?

FE6 may have a really lackluster soundtrack, but For the commanders, the theme of the western isles, is one of my favorite tracks in the series. The greil Merc chapters of RD may not be very fun for me, but good god does Eternal bond make it better. FE4's map themes are too funky. Berwick Saga's intro theme is also easily my favorite. It's so stirring! The last chapter of my first FE game, FE8. The nostlagia is real. This one's my personal favorite from FE7. Is it just me, but does it sound a bit like something from a Zelda game? I don't remember exactly when this one plays. This one is very simple, but I quite like it. I don't think it's her theme, but it plays in some of the scenes with Faye, which is generally a good thing!

I really agree with this, especially if they throw in Twilight princess too-The Wii version was a bit too unsaturated IMO. Aside from best game evah being remade, I also wanna see Minish Cap-It had a lot of neat things and I'd definitely want to play it again in a modern version. Also, what would people think of a fully voice-acted Zelda game? I'd actually kinda like that. They just need to bring back Link, Zelda and Morshu's VAs for it.
