Eirika route is typically faster, but Cormag might make you faster in Ephraim route due to Cormag coming much later and being a turn loss in Eirika route.

yeah, its a rare situation when you have a berserked unit and no restore staff, but blue units will always be able to walk through blue units, no matter what status they have.

I believe that tier lists, at least the way I use them, is a pretty simple thing. I ask myself, "how much would I miss this unit if I couldn't use them." This means that availability is still a penalty, however not as big as some tier lists make it out to be. Rebecca wouldn't change the game very much if she were gone, maybe a little less chip, but not a lot. However, Louise would be a bigger loss, as she does have utility, and without her a part of the game for me at least would change.

Neither are particularly good, but Ronan is more fun to use then Tanya because of the funny movement stars and having like 10 move. Ronan's str isn't that good, but there are many good bows in Thracia he can use. Use Tanya if you want the better unit, but Ronan is usually more fun to use and isn't redemption less either.

not anymore, Ltranc (a dude I know in the hacking community) made a patch that got rid of said promo and made it true reverse recruitment, getting rid of stuff like the weird Fae, Zeiss, and dieck triangle and stuff.
I'm assuming creating this beautiful creation is why the update took this long, but I could be wrong.

edgy Navarre would be a better description, as there's a surprisingly little amount of edgy lords in FE.
