No duel screen functionality confirmed by Nintendo
This worries me, because unless Nintendo still does stuff with the 3DS, this could lead to bad times for Etrian Odyssey. I guess they can adapt and make you use a button to pull up the map, but that would be really awkward.

yawn, this series has been ridiculously boring. looker and zinnia are the worst characters in the series, yet I guarantee the next episode is about one of them
needs more ash. will say that cristina vee's shelly was ok hand sign emoji
There's approximately a 0% chance Ash will appear, considering that these videos are about unseen perspectives in the games.

Did Jangmo-o only appearing on the fourth island play a part in this?
A bit.
-
Well I went back to my original plan of Pikaboo the Mimikyu being in. Kicking out Kommo-o. That Mimikyu song was very convincing.
-
Episode 8 has been released.
Well that was an interesting episode.
Also Matt is definitely Richard Epcar.
-
But Togedamaru is the Pikaclone, not this...thing, I thought.
Oh right. I forgot about that. Well, Mimikyu can be an honorary Pikaclone.
Also it is Up + Select + B simultaneously on the title screen. I don't remember if that's on the screen with Dialga or the one with the file and options and whatnot.
-
Well, at least we know now that it learns Thunderbolt. Makes sense for being what it is, but nice to know. Hopefully it's better than the last few Pikaclones.

You forgot that Wishiwashi has already been confirmed to be Totem, and it was said there is a Totem Pokemon for each Trial Captain. So, it's likely that there will be others too.
Now that I think about it, is there any blank after Wishiwashi? It's odd because Wishiwashi has been pretty much confirmed to be a Totem Pokemon.
Another weird is the lack of a Ground type Totem Pokemon, which is weird because in the Demo trailer there is a girl that appears to be a Trial Captain who is accompanied by a Mudsdale.
This is actually really weird.
Just to confirm that there are no blank spots after Wishiwashi. It may be like how Cykes said and a permanent School Wishiwashi is the fight. It may also just be a cutscene with Wishiwashi coming out of the water to intimidate the player, and then the player needs to navigate around to get something the Wishiwashi is guarding without it noticing or something. I'm pretty sure it was confirmed somewhere that not all trials will necessarily be about battling.

The only totems will be Gumshoos, Raticate, Lurantis, Vikavolt, Salandita, Mimikyu, Kommo-o, and maybe Zygarde, though the empty slots could refer to Zygarde Cell and Core instead of a Totem.
Don't get your hopes up for any more.
This is also why I doubt Lurantis will be version exclusive in the first place. Unless Salandit is its counterpart of course.
Zygarde Cell and Core are apparently key items going by this video.
I personally think that the blank spots are Zygarde 10% with different colored gems in the 'collar'. Like there's the main one with a red gem and its shiny with a red gem, and maybe's there's two more with say blue and yellow gems with their shiny versions.
It's possible it may be a totem, though it's weird that there's four blank spots after Zygarde 10% unlike the two for other pokemon, except for Mimikyu, but it has a good reason. They could do something interesting with there being say a main totem Zygarde 10% and it summons other Zygarde 10% that are different from the others. So the sprites would go: Zygarde 10%, Shiny Zygarde 10%, Totem Zygarde 10%, Shiny Totem Zygarde 10%, Reinforcement Zygarde 10%, Shiny Reinforcement Zygarde 10%

I thought of nicknames for my pokemon. They aren't the most clever.
Litten3 = Tigreatest
Vikavolt = Plasmus
Crabrawler2 = Kiwa Hirsuta
Mudsdale = Budweiser
Water Spider = Scuttlebug
Kommo-o = Jararangmo-o

Random stupid gamefaqs quote that's cracking me up:
"I think if you enjoyed seeing new pokemon and stuff, pokemon ins't for you anymore,i think i have to accept the fact and move on after playing SM"
I don't think Lurantis and Morelull are version exclusives. And I don't think exclusives have ever switched "versions" so to speak over generations (Ho-oh was in OR, Lugia was in AS), so I don't see any of the Gen V Pokemon being exclusives (or at least not "reversed" like that).
Well, Teddiursa and Phanpy sorta-kinda did. In the Japanese and Korean versions of Gold and Silver, Phanpy was in Gold and Teddiursa was in Silver, but in international versions they were switched. This was corrected in HGSS.
The reason why I think Lurantis and Morelull are going to be version exclusie is becuase they are both family with Pokemon that only evolves once, the families are side-by-side in the Pokedex, they are both Grass types and are likely to be in the same are. I could be wrong though.
Also, Lurantis could be a Totem Pokemon in Sun, while Morellul's evolution is the Totem Pokemon in Moon. Lurantis at least, is confirmed to be a Totem Pokemon.
And I didn't get the second part of your post. What did you mean by version exclusives switching versions?
I don't know about that because there aren't any blanks after Toad/Morelull2. There's ones after Alolan Raticate, Gumshoos, and Lurantis, confirmed Totem pokemon.
As for my input, for some reason I have a gut feeling that Tentacool is exclusive to Moon and Finneon is exclusive to Sun.
-
So Tigreatest, Plasmus, and Kiwa Hirsuta for the first island, Budweiser and Scuttlebug for the second island, and Jararangmo-o all the way on the fourth. Neat. At least I get to mess around with a couple different things before the end.

Don't worry, I did want to find out.
That's weird, now it feels like Coro-Coro lied to us when it said they share a secret with Rockruff who does have two evolutions. >_> But oh well...
Apparently that was a bit of a mistranslation. The starters and Rockruff share the fact that they have a secret. Rockruff's was version exclusive evolutions, and the current theory for the starters is that the final forms have special Z-moves like Snorlax and Alolan Raichu.
-
So, given the posts here (this is the only time I spoiling myself of ANYTHING more before the games' release), I'm going to assume that either:
Mermaid Popplio is Moon exclusive or the starters don't have two different final forms each after all? I'll be so sad if it's the former. If it is though, I'd like to see the other final forms for Popplio and Litten. But nothing else, please!
[spoiler=Ana don't read if you want to find out for yourself when the games come out]There is no evidence to suggest the starters have different final forms. The leaked ones (Mermaid Popplio, Wrestler Litten, and Archer Rowlet) are it.

Looks neat. It looks like it can play Wii and Wii U games (unless those are ports for the Switch). The question is battery life and performance when handheld.
Also new 3D Mario (I think).
also AtLUS has confirmed library involvement so that's hopeful

Speaking of Alolan Dugtrio, its hair may be based off of Pele's Hair, which is volcanic fibers that get blown around, becoming very thin. It should be handled with good gloves though, as it is volcanic fiberglass. Pele is the Hawaiian goddess of volcanoes.
-
Yeah sorry if I seemed a little aggressive with the statement against it, it could very well be Fire/Dark, but I'm honestly not sure.
But from what you've said, its very possible.
It's no problem. I didn't even recognize it as aggressive.

I just came up with a theory about the Ultra Beasts and thr Aether Foundation:
What if the reason you can catch the Ultra Beasts is because they are Pokemon but not from the world where game takes place, but a world where Pokemon are like the Ultra Beasts? Maybe in the world where the Ultra Beasts are from, Pokemon such as Pikachu, Eevee and many others don't exist at all. To them, the Ultra Beasts, they aren't the strange Pokemon, maybe to them, the Pokemon from the world where the game takes place are the ones that look bizarre and doesn't look like Pokemon at all, hell even a small simple looking Pokemon like Caterpie or Ratatta may look completely bizarre and unnatural to them.
The reason I got this theory I because I remembered something from the ORAS games. In the Delta Episode, Zinnia mentions another world where Mega Evolution doesn't exist, that world is implied to be the world where the original Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald games took place. Another thing that made me think of other worlds was a line from Lusamine where she says "Even Pokemon from other worlds are worthy of my love." or something similar. This might imply the existence of other worlds, and maybe, when Lusamine says that even Pokemon from other worlds are worthy of her love, she's talking about the Ultra Beasts.
And finally the last and probably the weirdest part of my theory, what if some of the people of the Aether Foundation are from that other world, where the Ultra Beast are normal Pokemon. More specifically, what if Lusamine, Gladion and Lili are from that other world? Perhaps, when Lusamine says that Pokemon from other worlds are worthy of her love, she's not talking about the Ultra Beasts, but rather, she's talking about the Pokemon from the world where the game takes. Maybe to her, Pokemon like Pikachu, Eevee, Caterpie and Ratatta are the ones that look otherworldly and bizarre while the Ultra Beasts are the "normal" ones.
What do you guys think? And sorry for writting to much, I got carried away.
I don't quite know about the part about some people coming from the UB world, though I'd believe it if some NPCs say they just appeared one day, like an NPC talks about Lusamine coming out of nowhere to being the president and founder of the Aether Foundation. Otherwise though, I believe it. I called it when the UBs were confirmed capturable. They show up one day, people are confused when their attempts to capture them are denied, and they're declared bizarre creatures. [spoiler=Cause datamine]I bet the UB Ball has special technology to be able to capture them cause it's from their world.

Hey you cheatedAlso, spoilers. Spoilers everywhere. That said, I can't say I really mind just because I've never been the type of person to avoid spoilers. All this new info sounds pretty interesting.
Oh yeah. We kinda spoiled all Alolan variations were from Gen 1.

I think the blanks near Zygarde 10% are because there's a few Zygarde cores, each probably with a different color hexagon. So there can either be two more Zygarde 10%s with different colored hexagons on the 'collar' and their shiny versions (more likely) or four more Zygarde 10%s with more different colored hexagons on the 'collar' and one uniform shiny (less likely).
000.png is probably a placeholder thing (more likely) or there is a pokemon they scrubbed that doesn't have a shiny (less likely).
That's quite possible regarding the galaxy cloud and orb. More likely than one evolving into Lunaala and the other evolving into Solgaleo. The question is why they aren't both right next to their respective legendaries.
-
If they do do regional forms in other games, I hope they just don't go with just a single generation at a time. I don't want to wait for like 6 games to get regional forms for Unova pokemon.
-
You know, I just read something that kinda makes sense:
"The dex pics are a marketing strat. Gamefreak learned, guys, they truly did. This demo is filled with what they intended to give to dataminers."
Literally all we have are pictures of the new 'mons and UBs. No names, stats, or abilities. It's feasible that they could've done this in an attempt to generate hype.
That would be... oddly smart of them.
I think that's giving GF too much credit. I think they just either forgot/didn't bother scrubbing those pokedex sprites because they figured dataminers would give up after the Pikachu covering.
And I just double posted. Crap.
-
Actually Alolan Golem seems to have what it appears to be a plug on it's back, so my guess would be Rock/Electric.
Or a taser/railgun (we can have two railgun mons and I wouldn't mind).

Here's a poll I found over on the subreddit. Try and predict the typings of the unannounced Pokemon and see how many people are like minded.

So there was that livestream on Niconico, and while it didn't show any new pokemon, there were some new details.
Shaking grass encounters work like XY where if you are next to something shaking it will attack you. Like the bushes on that route to the mansion.
When you catch a pokemon the Rotomdex tells you your current pokedex completion %.
There are 7 trials. So there's the confirmed Ilima, Mallow, Lana, Kiawe, and Sophocles, and from the special trailer in the demo the ghost girl is suspected to be one. Plus the mentioned Khahili from the demo is also speculated to be the last one.
Also Litten's stats at level 15 were shown at some point, and they were 39 HP, 26 Attack, 22 Defense, 24 Special Attack, 18 Special Defense, and 29 Speed. Litten's base stats are suspected to range from 32-49 HP, 55-73 Attack, 42-59 Defense, 48-66 Special Attack, 28-46 Special Defense, and 65-83 Speed. We don't know that Litten's nature though, and so the estimates are based off a neutral nature.
