  1. Yeah, they do look green. If so, that's great. After the other picture with huge stats I was starting to think all caps were the same for every class. Maybe they can level to 30 as Villagers and have acces to a few promoted options for reclass? Also, figures Donny would have the "Good Growth" skill.
  2. [spoiler=Sumia's child]From gamefaqs: http://www.dotup.org....org2875965.jpg "Its Cynthia with blue hair now due to her father being Krom, and with that she inherit the Aether skill." So if Sumia marries Krom, you get Cynthia anyway... that probably means each mother gets 1 child and Krom gets Marth as a bonus no matter who he marries (or even if he marries).
  3. Some info from Gamefaqs in case anyone cares: Opening: Joining time:
  4. Yeah, I actually don't like it. I hope other side has a more "normal" cover.
  5. So... KillerPaladin from gamefaqs updated the thread and now there's this picture: http://imageshack.us...org2873987.jpg/ "(red hait, forgotten the name) Loves him -> can't remove him from his mind ( consciously always thinking about him) <- (Roshi)" And this: http://imageshack.us...org2874005.jpg/ "Hector's violent ( I ll find a better word for this later :P ) axe Str and Def +2" And this other thread with skills: http://www.gamefaqs....akusei/62565351 Descriptions of Dual Attack and Outdoor battle and who has these skills Krom Dual Attack+ +10% for Dual Attack Liz Miracle When the character has over 1 HP, leaves the character with 1 HP after receiving an attack that would otherwise KO them (copied from SF) My unit War Knowledge When Double is active, experience gained x 1.5 (copied from SF) Viole Skill + 2 Gives +2 to skill Soiree Training Double the value of wpn exp gain (?) 6. An image with... supports? http://imageshack.us/f/339/rizha.jpg/ EDIT: and now Frederick (28 HP), D Swords, B Lances, D Axes and those 2 skills... http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/521/fredr.jpg/ From gamefaqs: http://www.gamefaqs....akusei/62564836
  7. Chibi Krom and Marth on the cart! Inverse on the instruction sheet... weird. Dragonmaster Tiki? Did she use up her stones already?
  8. As soon as I saw the official site update with the stats, I was expecting you to do this. I tried for 5 minutes and decided it was too much effort... Usually the unmounted units have a somewhat bigger stat boost than the mounted option as expected... except for Dark Mage's options. I hope dark magic has some amazing spells to compensate (or some awesome skills for Sorceror).
  9. We only know MU can change into "any" class. We don't know if it's actually going to be restricted by choices in the beginning in the game (like, you choose your background and that determines your reclass options) or if it's actually going to be every possible class (for your sex at least). I doubt you can get a male Pegasus Knight. There's probably going to be some classes that are specific to each sex. Males could get Bandit I guess. Unless... you were taling about girl on girl action which is unfortunately not possible in the game.
  10. Many of them? FE10 and the others (FE9, FE4 and FE5) also had some skills that were active all the time. The passive ones seem to give much smaller bonuses and you "only" have 5 slots. Five may sound like a lot, but considering how skills seem weaker, units will get their strengths by adding a lot of "smaller" effects instead of relying on just a 1 hit kill skill hat activates 1/4 of the time and nothing else, making them more unique. In FE13: - The ones that are like masteries (Astra, Luna, Sol, Lethality) don't activate all the time, that would be ridiculous. We just don't know the activation rate. - The normal ones (like wrath and whatnot) may activate all the time like in FE10. No change there, as far as we know. - The critical up skills in FE10 were up to +25% for the assasin that is there, Trueblades got +20%. The ones in FE13 seem quite weaker (and to get +15 Crit and -5 Hit you need 2 skill slots). - The "new" type of skills are stat up skills, but they use some of the 5 slots and there might be better options. Magic Expertise sounds quite good but that doens't mean it's going to be unbalanced. - The other new type is support Cries, which again mean you loose a skill slot (I wouldn't do it most of the time) and Charisma like skills. - Another type is the "bonuses when the unit is alone", in a game that allows unit to pair up, it's just a way to try to keep those players that want units to stay by themselves (to cover more ground) up to speed, useless if you "double" though. - And then there's the weird ones like Lighting Speed, that one will depend on how it's implemented. Overall, while we don't know the activation rate of some skills, at the very least the "mastery" skills aren't 1 hit kills that activate at 20-30% (Stat% or Stat/2% activation, with inflated stats in FE10). I'm not saying it's not going to be broken after some reclassing, but the differences between them and balance, for now, sounds much better than FE10's masteries which all did the same.
  11. Exactly. FE10's mastery skills were just critical hits with some small added effect (most of the time, it was just even more damage). Pretty much all of them were 1 hit kills (or nearly so) and didn't really set the classes appart besides a new "critical" animation, they were ridiculous. This is what gives me hope for FE13's skill system, the "powerful" skills seem to have their own advantages and are way less broken. It seems like they won't be overpowered by themselves... but you do have 5 slots to do that anyway. Astra doesn't 1 hit kill the enemy (2.5x damage but you may be able to critical) but it works on bosses. Lethality kills instantly (better than Luna and Astra) but probably doesn't work on bosses. Lighting Speed seems like a skill that's just as powerful (2 attacks in 1 turn if you can pull it off) but considerably different. Luna will hopefully go back to being a normal attack against 0 enemy defense, making it very effective against armoured units but not so much against mages (and now you can give it to a low Str Trickster so attacking a General with them might not be a complete loss). Sol will also go back to being a normal attack that saps HP (half of the damage), it won't be a very strong hit, differentiating it from the others.
  12. It really depends on how it's handled. If it counts as a T0 unit (boosted EXP), he only has 10 levels as a Villager and then auto promotes to one of his T1 classes, then that means you have more control over his class near the beginning of the game (and without a Change Proof). You seem to think you need another Mercenary? Donny can do that. Or maybe you like mounted units and want an extra Cavalier... Donny is there for you. I'm more inclined to the idea that we'll get more than one villager and that each one has 3 T1 classes that depend on his personality/upbringing and whatnot and that's why they don't list his promotions.
  13. And it happened, Troubadours promote to Battle Sister (4.12 website update shows all classes, base stats and their promotions). Some random thoughts: - Sage > Sorceror > Dark Knight > Valkyrie in terms of Magic - Valkyrie > Sage > Dark Knight > Sorceror in terms of Speed - Dark Pegasus have awesome bases compared to the other 3 mage classes. - Griffon Riders are speedier and more skilled than Dragon Knights. Their Resistance sucks just as much though. - Battle Sister == Battle Monk - Assasins have a little more Strength than Sword Masters. Heroes also seem to have the same Str than Assasins. - Tricksters have low Strength - Berserkers look great (max Str, very high Spd)
  14. You might be able to grind supports and marry right away, but that doesn't mean the kids will magically appear as soon as they get married. I'd guess you have to see a certain event in the story before you get kids (probably once you have most characters in your team), or maybe they can't get S support until a certain point in the story. I doubt you can have kids on Chapter 2-5.
  15. Someone on Gamefaqs posted some scans and I didn't see them here. Since this thread is about the last Famitsu, I'll leave the here: http://www.gamefaqs....akusei/62518026 http://i.imgur.com/6iKUV.jpg http://i.imgur.com/wk4Oj.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Gf6OI.jpg http://i.imgur.com/U2vhZ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/spx1K.jpg http://i.imgur.com/kEyzS.jpg http://i.imgur.com/ZOg9l.jpg http://i.imgur.com/KR1f8.jpg http://i.imgur.com/RpG3R.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Dpw0b.jpg http://i.imgur.com/xq4hw.jpg "All (?) units can raise their support levels up to A, but only certain pairs have an S support available. Presumably you raise support to A, get married, then go to S." EDIT: I refreshed before posting... how could I miss the post above
  16. All I'm saying is that I think being able to use Dark Magic can contend with being able to use Staffs. Anything else (Magic Cry, Crit Chance if it's there) is just a bonus to make Sage and Sorceror even more unique and different. I doubt they'll get the same skills (except Magic Expert, I want that on both).
  17. And what about Griffon Knights? They don't get Lances so what could be their selling point? Speed and Movement? I do. Rezire/Nosferatu is pretty awesome and seems was seen in a shop along with the "El-" spells. Flux might have an ability and there's still more magic with different abilities to be seen. Kind of like an even more battle oriented mage instead of the versatility Sages get with staffs.
  18. Sorcerors are the only promoted class that can use Dark Magic though. Their skills will probably be different from Sages but I don't expect a higher Crit. I hope they get Magic Expert though (+5 Magic when wielding Tomes).
  19. Yeah, Donnie seems to have a log in his hands Also, some unexpected stuff for Sorceror and Griffon Knight: - Master Lord gains Spears, cool - Griffon Knights only use Axes, weird. - Valkyrie is Staffs and Tomes - Sorcerors are Tome only (but they can use Dark Magic) - Assasins get bows - Warrior and Berserk are the same as before (Axe + Bows for Warrior and Axes only for Berserk) - The grey/white haired male Sorceror that was barely seen before appears again, I hope it's not MU...
  20. Trailers found on the eShop with the classes: From gamefaqs: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/643003-fire-emblem-kakusei/62507855 Prepromotes Armor Knight Social Knight Archer Strategist Sword Fighter Sister Fighter Lord Mage Thief Dark Mage Mercenary Pegasus Knight Troubadour Dragon Knight Priest Barbarian Promotes Paladin Great Knight Trickster Swordmaster Falcon Knight Sage Sorcerer Berserker Master Lord Battle Monk General Assassin Hero Griffon Knight Sniper Bow Knight Dark Pegasus Warrior Dark Knight Dragonmaster Grandmaster (MU's promote) Valkyria Battle Sister Other Mamkute Taguel Dancer Villager
  21. Cynthia (Sumia's daughter) has blond hair, just like MU... so maybe the character/name is defined by the mother and the hair color by the father? At least it would be an improvement from FE4 (in terms of aesthetics) and it shouldn't be too hard to do.
