It's a tough call as I tend to like a lot of the main characters but my absolute favourite right now has to be Sigurd. The man just radiates badassery!

The thing about DMC is that it never used to take itself so seriously. The very first trailer for this had Dante jabbing a cigarette butt into a demon's eye socket. That's... a little hardcore, oui? The Dante we know and love would be a bit classier (read; narm charm-ier) than that... and that, I think, is the issue we all have. It has nothing to do with plot or characterisation. It has to do with the tone. We all liked DMC because the series knew its own story was a giant sack of poo and so it just had fun with the whole thing. Remove "DMC" from this game's title and what do we have? Another "daarkk, broooddy, griiitttyyy" action game. While I'm sure The Kids will swoon over the designer violence and that, as a game, this will turn out okay, it just doesn't look like it's having any kind of fun with itself: except in that sort of dark, violent, sadistic humour that only fourteen year-olds like because they're fascinated with limbs flying all over the place.

I've done enough Skype badfic readings with friends to know that fanfiction produces a physically uncomfortable amount of really weird porn. There are some good ones, though (stories, not porn, I should clarify). Those Lacking Spines was a good read and Sephiroth vs. Winnie the Pooh (or whatever the proper name is) was pretty amusing.

Well, of course Dozla's good in CC because of unlimited stat boosters. The original Jagen would be good if he was maxed out on Energy Rings and Speedwings... but I digress. Dozla's just average in my book. Not great but not awful either.

I'll clarify. "Getting" stale is not the same as "having gone completely stale and unfunny". It was on the way - yes - but it wasn't there yet. Anywhoo, I reckon he's exhausted the ranty-type of character. We'll get something new. My money is on a calmer, maybe more snide character with well-placed one-liners rather than just endless rage.

I tend to fiddle with FPS and fighting game controls a lot. Especially if they do something moronic like assign grenades to R3.

Because Zelda writes the history books to make it look like she saved herself every time Link kicks Ganon's ass and uses her Shiekah skills to "silence" him so that he can't dispute her claims... or maybe that's just my interpretation.

Even though I usually give him Aether, just because it has the Most Wonderful Startup Sound, I have had a lot of fun sticking Vantage and Wrath/Resolve on him in the past.

Oh, they are. XD Don't worry, though. I'm more "nostalgically passionate" than anything else. Vesperia just killed so much of my love for the series that I can't get hyped up for it anymore. The best years for the franchise have come and gone, so... yeah. Don't worry. I don't have rabies anymore. I think I just seduced Ponih. XD Well, as a matter of fact, yes, I do cook. It's sort of a hobby of mine. You tend to pick this stuff up at uni. Oh and, here is that list of all my voice acting stuff I've done. Mostly demo's, comic dubs and fandubs but hey. People like my Sexy British Accent and, well, I'm too much of a voicewhore to deny them. ;D

Hello, everybody. It's ruddy nice to meet all of you. I'm Samven and I'm incredibly English. Bangers and mash. Lashings of ginger beer for all. Evil laughter. Muahaha. So... myeap. I'm a pretty big Emblem fan. Got into the series when it first came to the west and have been following it ever since. Favourite one at the moment is Radiance but it kinda varies... I've got loads of love for Genealogy, too. I also like Sacred Stones a fair bit. I don't care if it's easy: branched promotions and different story paths was an awesome idea. So, myeah. Not much for skill-playing, though. I normally just kinda derp around with the units whose personalities and backstories interest me the most. I will keep everyone alive, though. Just because I'm not fussed on what my tactics rating will be doesn't mean I'm willing to sacrifice anybody. Lessee... What else. Oh, I've contributed to the main site about once or twice under the name "Seraphim Swordmaster" but I'm kinda moving away from that lil' moniker recently. Bit too longwinded I find nowadays. Outside of Fire Emblem, I'm quite a gamer. I'm quite the Tales fan (albeit less so in recent games), I love Golden Sun and I also really dig Xenoblade among a massive library of games. XD So yeah.
