Absoutely no point.... why wait for promotion gains and better weapon levels AND usually more crucial movement that helps with collassal maps. Except lex because on his journey to the castle to premote, he gained a few levels.

They are fun I guess..... but you dont get to choose your characters and you have to play in Japanese because there is no patch I think... If youve played every fe game and liked fe3, it is basically some more levels.

I think there should be specific recorded data. (Except Fe5 unless you dont use scrolls, and stat boosters)

Even though it is a stale argument I feel like posting it. JohALVA is far better. The only thing Johan has over johalva is better speed growth. However, Johalvas starting speed is far better, and though it wont grow much, if you give him the heros ax he will be able to 2X attack anyways. All the other stats, are better for Johalva. "but his speed wont grow!" Is lex a great unit? YES and most of the time his speed wont pass 18, but with the heros ax, he can defeat anything. So, since johalva has amazing starting stats in speed, it will be balanced. Since johalva has great growths in every stat but speed, he can hit, crit and double with solely the hero ax. Johan has for worse starting stats, however has identical growths save speed. His skill growth is abysmal and since it starts low, it will stay low. With Johalvas speed, it starts high so it is balanced out. With that said, the only thing johan has left is mounted, but Johalva has bows. Johalva is way better. Any counter arguments or I am talking to myself? :(

save state or save before sigurd talking to aida on ch 5 so you can change the items the pairs have in the 2nd generation. Johalva- get him, over johan because his only awful physical stat is speed and he dosent need any with hero ax from smitt. DO NOT FORGET LEX HERO AXE. have him wait on the peninsula for a secret conversation. If you dont get the hero ax lex will be useless. levin is the best unit. he can solo the chapter with holsety. over 100 dodge.

In hard mode, if treck makes it out alive from 7 he is ok, but alan/lance are better. I call noah the 151515 because those were his first three stats at 20/20 noahs only good thing is fir support.

B Besides gonzales issue, it is better for collectiong all items and is more fun.

All saul is is an inaccurate weakling with speed. and for a bishop, no res or luck. Ellen has everything except speed. I prefer the latter.
