  1. Since you speak of "prom", I assume you're from the US. Doesn't your town have a shop that specializes in this stuff?

    Unfortunately not.

As a Chinese person I use Taobao, it's kinda like Chinese amazon, and they do ship to the US (just recently!)

The only problem is that I don't believe they have English navigation, I guess you can try applying google translate or something

If you live anywhere near New York City or San Fran I suggest just going to Flushing or Chinatown and get one straight up because you really want your qipaos to fit well, badly fitted qipaos don't look good

I do live in New York State (upstate though, so NYC is a few hours away) so I may be able to arrange a trip or two down to the city. If not, I'll try using Taobao. Thanks!

  2. Prom is coming up soon and as I have an interest in traditional asian fashion, I'd would like to wear a qipao from China. I've browsed various online retailers for one and while I've found many that I like, I can't seem to find them on any sites that aren't extremely shady. I've browsed various scam reporting websites but the vast majority of them with positive reviews are coming from accounts with only 1 review.

Has anyone on here ordered from an asian retail site with good results and if so, can you please direct me to it?

  3. Good luck with this. I've beaten the hack 3 or 4 times on the normal modes and attempted a 5th playthrough for a let's play but I got burnt out fast. The hack is pretty shitty but for some reason it managed to draw me in and keep me around for quite some time.

  4. I remember when I was once 1% criticaled (even though it is 1/1000). Sacred stones in the ship level. The Deathgoyle managed to Critical Garcia on my best run. Getting a 1% critical is satisfying but the opposite is quite the opposite. I'm interested in seeing how many other people had this happen to them despite the odds.

The deathgoyle on that ship chapter 1% crit Dozla once.

  5. Huh, guess I have a fake FE7 then. It worked fine for a long time, but now it can't save to any files.

Edit: Well, it's the same image but it does have the logos like the real ones.

If it has that logo it's a fake.

Other ways to tell are whether or not the screw in the back of the cartridge is Y-shaped or a generic one and by looking inside of the cartridge to see if the text "nintendo" is printed inside. If that's absent it's fake.

You could also open one up. If a round, cheap looking battery is taped onto the chip, it's definitely fake.

  6. Excuse me, he asked me. Now I went through the trouble of installing my phone's software and crap for nothing.

    teehee ;)

The games you bought look pretty legit though so I doubt you'll have any problems with them (although be forewarned, the batteries on these things have been dying out for a while now.)

  7. Why wouldn't they be?

People sell a LOT of fake gba games on ebay. Many of the sacred stones games I found on there were fakes when I last looked for it there a year ago.

    Here's a fake fe7 iQihLURuB5Lpn.jpg

    Here's a less common fake fe8

And a more common fake $_57.JPG

    Beware the fakes.
