    Sprite: Lyn Durandal anim,palette(ifpossible) tan robe, tanned skin, and black hair.

    Opponent name: Rena

    Weapon name: Afrite (Rex weapon icon)

    Hp: ?? (100)

    Hit 90/20 damage/25 crit

    Sprite: Wyvern Knight from Sacred Stones, palette: black wyvern

    Battle: Long-ish

    Anansi hits Rena, decreasing her HP to 75, Rena counterattacks and misses, then counterattacks again (Brave effect) with a critical decreasing Anansi's hp to 5. Anansi then criticals Rena to finish her off.

    Battle Background: the temple one from light when you fight the morphs/nergal.

    (I doubt you'll actually do this because I asked for so much but it's worth a try! >_<

    Iirc if you have a growth rate higher than 100% whatever extra number is there gives you a chance for extra stats.

    150% Is a guaranteed +1 boost and a 50% chance of a +2 boost.

    200% Is a guaranteed +2 boost, etc.

    And vastly inflated Skill, it seems. Also I find it funny that the Brigands have more Res than Def. :v

    Also Batta is weaker than his own brigands.

    The amount of inconsistencies in this hack is jarring.

    aww, now i miss your old avatar lol. anyway, good luck. some guys i know did an lp of this game, and they kept hacking the games memory to revive characters that died. they called it "using dragon balls" it was hilarious XP

    I just beat the game on ENM the other day and as imbalanced and crazy as it was, Fe7if did give me a few ideas for tactics to apply to whatever future projects I decide to venture onto.

    Of course, considering my massive rewind and savestate abuse back then, I feel like I cheated myself of the full experience. Therefore I would like to welcome you to my Let's Play of:

    Hector Normal Mode!

    During this Let's Play I will be limiting myself from doing the following things:

    -Savestates*

    -Rewinding

    -Boss Abuse

    (I will only be using savestates in the following chapters: Pirate Ship, Cog of Destiny, and the second half of Light due to them being the shittiest most imbalanced cesspits in the entire game.)

    Needless to say, I will have little to no hair left to pull out by the end of this.

    What am I talking about... it's probably stolen XD

    Yeah, it's Katt's shaman form's mug from Fe7if.

    I didn't get permission but when I read that massive dramathread's response from the japanese community it seems that their hacking community doesn't care about stolen stuff as long as credit is given. I should get to probably giving credit in my sig though.

    (And to make it clear i'm not going to be using any of their resources in my hack)

    I have two more questions to ask:

    Just how do I apply more than one patch?

    It seems that after applying one patch, I get an error when I attempt to apply another to the same rom. Is this where the hex editor comes into play?

    Also, tiled or Mappy for map creation/insertion?

    Forgive me if these have been answered before.

    In the past I've toyed around with a few hacking tools for FE7 and I decided that I'll be starting a small project now that I actually have the time to do so.

    I just want a few quick questions to be answered:

    Is feditor adv supposed to make the rom crash when you change something in nightmare and then try to edit text?

    If so, should I save the rom in feditor before making changes and applying patches?

    On the topic of applying patches, how many is too many?

    Is there a guide somewhere for ripping entire maps from the games? (Preferably just to make minor edits and then reinsert them)

    And finally, would I be better off using midis from a site like vgmusic or should I insert music I ripped from other games?
