  1. Greetings, folks. This is my review of Big's Big Fishing Adventure 3: The Trial, a game available for YOUR COMPUTER, with an MSRP of FREE! And when I say free, I mean completely free. This game is clear of stinky, smelly business practices like DLC, microtransactions, pay to win, and so on. There are also no leveling or upgrade systems to get in the way of fun. The moment you start playing, nothing will stop you from winning except yourself. It's refreshing to see a game that wants to give you everything it has to offer right from the get-go. The brilliance of BBFA3:TT starts at the objective center of any good game - the story. Big the Cat, the beloved main character of Sonic Adventure, and his Pollywog Pal Froggy, are making a game about fishing - starring themselves. However, things turn awry when they only have one day left to finish it, and Froggy goes missing! Big takes up the big responsibility of sorting things out, and travels through many galaxies and dimensions in his quest to make a quick buck on Steam. The graphics are amazing, featuring some of the most intricately detailed character sprites I've ever seen. The backgrounds are so 3D, they'll punch your eyes in the face. Even the text font is sophisticated enough to convey the lighthearted-yet-serious tone of the game. The music is nothing short of mesmerizing. It sucks you into the experience like a vacuum cleaner making out with a black hole. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEipt1UvDVI The gameplay is that of a visual novel like Ace Attorney or Professor Layton, with hundreds of branching story paths and infinite replay value. The variety is bolstered further by simple-yet-deep minigames including dungeon crawling, flying through space, and of course, fishing. But not all paths lead to a happy ending, and you will need to escape the cunning wiles of Dr. Eggman to ensure Big's game gets made. Big's Big Fishing Adventure 3: The Trial is one of the best games I've played in my life. It changed me, and it will change you too. It's better than Super Mario Galaxy, Ocarina of Time, and Metroid Prime combined. It's focus on character driven gameplay destroys the entire Fire Emblem series, and it will bring a new era to the games industry. Play it here - http://bigthec.at/ 2 out of 1 (Legendary!)
  2. Also, my GameCube controller is not new at all, and I'm afraid I may not the precision control necessary to play a game like Super Monkey Ball.
  3. Never played it. Heard it was very good, and extremely hard, much like F-Zero GX (same developer) but haven't tried it because marble madness style games terrify me.
  4. 3D Kirby gameplay confirmed! And it only took them 20 something years. Hype levels are now max.
  5. Has anyone else played Clash of Heroes? It's really good. Like, "I bet this is better than Puzzle Quest" good. It also has excellent two-person death battles.
  6. The only puzzle RPG I play is this -
  7. Also I should mention that Ganondorf's grabbing animation is the biggest "Get ready to tech NOW" telegraph in the universe, so it's easier to tech than most other moves.
  8. Watching grass grow is one of my favorites. I'm waiting for the sequel, Lawn Mowing Extreme.
  9. Wait, pressing the A button doesn't increase your chances of capturing Pokemon??? Darn it, I knew Pokemon was a mediocre game.
  10. But if you fill the game with confirmation prompts, players like me will complain that it's slowing down the game. I guess a toggle switch would be best.
  11. The title didn't even fool me for a second. The sales data make the statement literally impossible.
  12. With this new, innovative technique, the tryhards can... try harder?
  13. Hit the shield button right before you're slammed to the ground to perform a tech. Depending on directional input, you can get up, roll forward, or roll backward. If you tech, then Ganondorf has no guaranteed followups.
  14. Saddest of April Fools jokes - http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/746393-fast-racing-neo/73523376 For those who don't know, Shi'nen announced a patch for January, with mini-maps for courses and online stability improvements. It's still not here.
  15. It says it's the 14.5th installment... that's a red flag to me.
  16. Knock yourself out. But only if it's as good as games actually released in 2016.
  17. Actually I was referring to Bangai-O HD: Missile Fury, which is not the same thing as Bangai-O Spirits. What's that? No man, he literally won't play other games or anything. His soul is GONE! Also the Virtual Console release of Sin & Punishment.
  18. Sonic Colors is here to contradict you.
  19. Because I couldn't decide. They're all about the same overall, but have individual strengths and weaknesses.
  20. The Awards The "so good, I rate it 9/10 twenty years after its release" award goes to Super Metroid! The "gotta go fast" award goes to Fast Racing Neo! The "Treasure masterpiece" award goes to Bangai-O Spirits! The "only Wii game released this entire year" award goes to Rodea the Sky Soldier (Wii)! The "3DS game that's not Smash 4" award goes to Kirby: Triple Deluxe! The "ludicrously polished" award goes to Super Mario 3D World! The "actually good Sonic game" award is tied between Sonic Rush / Sonic Rush Adventure / Sonic Colors (DS)! The "intelligent turn based systems" award goes to Advance Wars: Dual Strike! The "DESTROY THEM ALL" award goes to Sin & Punishment! The "treasure, not Treasure" award goes to Wario Land 4! The Anti-Awards The "my brother lost his soul to this" award goes to Destiny! The "confusing controls" award goes to Metroid: Other M! The "poor man's Missile Fury" award goes to Super Mario Maker! The "replay game four times" award goes to Bravely Default! The "too much RNG" award goes to Fire Emblem Awakening!
