Ehhhhhh, I guess there was NSMB, but this is the only game I was marginally interested in aside from ZombiiU, but that received too much negative feedback for me to bother until it lowers a lot in price. Also I hadn't known it was a port until after wards. ;__;

I'd absolutely recommend you check out Ergo Proxy. It would be impossible for me to really give a good description of the story in a comment box, but it's basically a dystopic sci-fi drama. It has heavy existentialist and psychological themes, and the setting is really quite surreal. I guess I'd say it's like Evangelion's complex hidden plot mixed with GitS's dark, adult...

Evangelion is probably my overall favorite anime, up there with TTGL, Ergo Proxy, GitS, and Cowboy Bebop.

I just want something that shows the full potential of the characters. It's annoying to follow them for only one season when they could track them even as adults and give much more satisfying and varied plots, that's all. Taken alone one single season doesn't mean much of anything.

Slam Dunk's pretty good, I guess, but it all feels very short. I just found out tonight that ES21 actually ends with this match, since there's only a couple volumes left. I'd thought it was still running. Why do all these sports manga have to pull shit like this where they run for just a season? How awesome would it be to have them grow up and face one another on separate teams? Sig...

Also fun fact Gaou's pretty clearly named after the Japanese onomatopeia of a lion's roar, "gao."

I'm at the beginning of the fight with Teikoku. This manga is ten times better than Slam Dunk and I don't know why people love the other so much more. I think this might actually be better than Hajime no Ippo.
