Yeah I got troll-reinforcement'd too. Was nearly done with the map when a bunch of generals and snipers spawned on top of my Lissa and killed her. :/ Aside from that though, it seems significantly easier to keep these guys alive than the NPCs in The Future Past 1.

You'll need to take out the Longbow Snipers on turn 1, which almost requires Galeforce use. From there, you'll want to pick off the enemies in her room by turn 5 or so, blocking the staircases by turn 3 or 4 and leaving someone blocking the over-the-wall shot on her until those staircases are blocked, since they spawn Sages. The Mire Sorcerer spawns on one of the four staircases near Noire's room somewhere around turns 3-5 and he has a good chance of oneshotting Noire if her parents didn't have decent durability (even with some grinding, Tharja's Res tends toward "pretty bad"). Sorry for the vague information; I only let the sorcerer spawn once and I didn't pay attention to exactly which staircase or turn it was, my brain was mostly busy repeating "WTF WTF WTF" to itself when it saw Noire die to that.

So yeah... since I didn't use either of Noire's parents, I'm running into the wonderful issue where she can be oneshotted (not one-rounded, killed in a single shot) from anything attacking from outside, and it all doubles her: the longbow snipers, the reinforcement sages, and the reinforcement Mire sorcerer (well, Mire users can't double, but he has a OHKO at 80% displayed hit). Didn't use Kjelle's either, but she doesn't seem to have reinforcement issues as far as I've seen. Cynthia and Nah can hold their own (the inside enemies tink) since I did use their parents. Welp, time to level Tharja and Gaius a bit I suppose. Seems to be my only choice aside from just bodyblocking every stairwell within ten tiles.

I am almost certain it's because of #2. Not everyone knew of her heritage, but word had probably gotten around that she wasn't supposed to associate with men.

I think I had him switch to a Silver Sword for a while in the mid/lategame until he got Exalted Falchion (something like chapter 17-24) just because the low Mt was starting to become a pain.

Did you go to the Purchase Maps screen today (NOT just the Bonus Box screen) so that it would update your content?

I had the same thing happen with a log... Apparently logs are evil.
