That's an excellent price. 160GB should be plenty unless you play Skyrim or Fallout 3/NV and have hundreds of saves. Definitely worth the money.

Yeah, emulation or individual remakes are the way to go. Nintendo could also do some localization and release the originals on the Virtual Console. They could also make a tablet/smartphone marketplace and release them there. I'm sure most phones/tablets out now can handle NES/SNES games.

Personally, I don't like games/movies that try to explain how time travel works. Since we don't have that capability, it doesn't usually make any sense since we don't know with any certainty how time travel would function. That said, I haven't played many games with time travel and don't mind it as a feature or gimmick. Just don't try to make sense of something we know nothing about or it will end up making little-to-no sense at all.. I think the "faction from the future goes back in time and fights with the past." gimmick is a bit underused though. Someone's unhappy with how their country's doing, so they use time travel to establish and preserve their empire or pillage a scarce resource from a time period where said resource isn't so rare, etc. I think that would be an interesting concept to expand on.

For some reason, a Fire Emblem kart racer or fighting game comes to mind when I hear this.

I sprang for the XL and have no complaints at all. Some old DS games that weren't made with a bigger screen in mind look a little off, but I can actually see what I'm doing. Then again, my eyesight is terrible, so you may not need a large screen. Still the image quality is great and Awakening really looks good. I don't use the 3D very much though. It's neat now and then to make a cutscene really come alive, but I learned my lesson from the last 3D "portable" I owned. I got a Virtual Boy when it came out because my name is Sheik, and I'm I dumbass. When I have the 3D (lowest setting) on the DS for more than five minutes, I start to get the same headache I got on the VB that says "You're going to go blind when you turn forty and make your optometrist a very happy person until then."
