    Hey Kirokan!

    I was reading through the script again and noticed that at the end of chapter 1-2, Jarod praises Micaiah for being clever and seeing through his ruse.

    Micaiah:
    “Where is Laura?”

    Jarod:
    “And you saw through my ruse. You’re as clever as they say, my dear. You even came alone. How brave of you. Was that to give your friends a chance to escape? What a thoughtful little thing you are.”

     

    What exactly was the ruse and how did she see through it? To me it seems more like she fell for it so I want to know if the tone is sarcastic or genuine.

      I wonder if there's some dialogue from the extended script that may help explain that. Or maybe he was going to pretend to be someone else or something but they skipped straight to it. But now I'm curious myself xD

      I've been really busy with the Valentia Accordion, so it may take me a bit to get to this, but I've added it to my list of things to look at : )

      Thanks. I feel like some of the early part one scenes needed more dialogue to flesh out the scenario which is why the extended script is probably most useful here. I'm also quite curious because my next Micaiah thread will focus on her intelligence since that's quite contentious.
