    Turters for Smash.

Or, you know, Nia. Welsh cat girls for life.

Peace out, Alrest. You magical place, you.

Seems like someone finished XC2. I've stopped playing for the moment, but I'll probably jump back in if NG+ allows me to keep my levels, items and especially Blades.

    And Nia's great, I agree.

Yeah, what you said.  If they sold one copy of every character at 5* and let you pick their nature for $5 in addition to the gacha, this game would be perfect for me.  I might even buy a few of those characters!

No way they'd do that. I spent 250$ pulling for B!Lucina on the CYL banner and she never showed up.  If that system existed, I could have had +10 version of all four CYL units with the money I spent failing to get B!Lucina. Then again, that horrible luck is what convinced to stop whaling.

Don't get me wrong, what you're suggesting would be great and would probably still net IS profits (since 5$ for a copy of a character in a mobile game is still absolutely really expensive), but way less than what they currently get from whales spending half a grand pulling 10+ copies of the newest unit they desire.

Edit : just re-read your post and realized I got the wrong idea. Selling 1 a single copy for 5$ + an additional 5$ to choose your nature does sound like it could work with the current gacha model without cutting into their profit too much. Though my unfortunate story with regards to B!Lucina is a situation where they would have lost money with this system in place.

Good shit.jpg I want to think I did the same thing, but I have no memory of my time with the game at all, whoops

I'll probably get back to the game eventually, but I'm going to end this Fates Conquest run first and then I was already planning on replaying XCX and maybe XC1. That should keep me occupied for a while, especially since I'm getting sucked back into Hellsword.

I saw Conquest and thought it was referring to Pokemon Conquest and was like "Woooow, that old game?"

Fun fact, I finally found Pokemon Conquest again this summer after years of me thinking I had forgotten the cartridge somewhere around the house where it was then lost to the void. IIRC I mainly tried to recruit as many warriors as possible and give them their preferred pokemon.

  5. I decided to pick back up a playthrough of Conquest I had left hanging on chapter 12 a while back and I keep having to reset the map. I'm constantly making mistakes like forgetting to check archers for Lunge or forgetting that attack stance is a thing. Doesn't help that I made my avatar a mage and there's a silence staff user right in the section flooded with archers.

Maybe I should have restarted with a Lunatic Birthright playthrough to remove the rust before jumping back into Conquest '>v>

We did wait for you before going to page 20001 though!

Oh no, don't feel obligated, I'm just teasing a little

Though, it's nice to know you and a couple others are well

Nah, I do miss chatting here with people, so I'll try coming here just to say hi a bit more often.

And I got distracted in the post surge to page 20000, but I just saw what you wrote about your day. I'm glad you're ok but it seemed like it was pretty intense...

I can come here more for you, if you'd like

    w-wow

I just remembered that I could be a normal human being and just stop and say "hi thread" every once in a while. I'll try doing that starting tomorrow.

I feel the same way about it. The more I played it, the more I liked it, but in the end it didn't come close to the other two. IIRC Monolith is doing something completely different next, so I'm curious to see what they can do.

    true

I dunno, something about the game feels rough or rushed. The idea and themes behind the story are interesting, but I feel like it flops a bit in the execution. The areas are nowhere near as entertaining to traverse as the ones in XC1 or XCX. There were some definite polishing of some of the weaker parts of the previous games, but I feel like XC2 brought it's own share of weaknesses.

    same here

I think this just naturally happened to most people who used to post here

anyway, did you beat xenoblade 2?

I did. I've been trying to put my thoughts about the game into words for a while and post in the XC2 thread, but I often stop and re-write because I find myself rambling.

I can summarize it with this though : Had fun with the game and find it pretty good, but I think it's inferior to both XC1 and XCX. I can elaborate more on some specific if you wishes too.

haha, considering how long it's taking for them to fix the double post issue, I don't see this happening any time soon

I wish they'd fix the issues large threads have of not bringing you to the right page when you click on a quote or on the "bring me to the latest post I haven't read" button.

It's funny how this thread reached the first 20000 in two years, and is only reaching the second 20000 two years later.

It was so fast back then, now it's ded

I remember how I used to post here everyday. I somehow slowly stopped. A lot of times, I just don't know what I'd post about and I don't have anything to say about the current conversation most of the time.
