Welp I was planning to use the Celica I got from the banner for this week, but Nowi being a bonus unit opens up my options. Probably will go with Lucina/Nino/Nowi/Cordelia since Cordelia is my unit with the highest merge level that isn't part of my arena core trio. She'll also be great to deal with any Alm I encounter, since Nowi could have trouble with him.

Well just the AoE gravity effect could be more useful to some team comp than Rauðrblade because of the utility it provides.

I think he'll get that upgrade for all his refinement options. I'm curious as to what his unique Refinement option will be though. If they want to imitate how the tome worked in Fates, they could give it a magic damage mitigation effect like Divine Tyrfing's or Deflect Magic.

You probably want to use Phantom Circle, Bloodlust, Desperado and Altar of Evil for Demonio. Keep Phantom Circle buff online as much as possible and use Bloodlust when Ciel and Desperado when Lu to build up the Combination points for Altar of Evil. It's worth to get Nightmare to replace Bloodlust and Transcendence (the skill, not the level 70 pseudo job change) to replace Altar of Evil. You might want to get the quest to get the extra skill slot though, since he really likes having 8 skills.
And we don't get to keep the costume because KoG wants us to buy costumes instead.
Like the figure skating one they just released.IIRC, some people sell a Promotional Costume cube on the board, but the price is probably more than what your Demonio can afford (10M ED for something that last 7 days). -

I got my Demonio to level 70 yesterday. He's pretty fun to play. I constantly used arts that made Lu switch to Ciel and vice-versa to build Combination points and then use their transformation specials. Ciel took a while to unlock, but it's much more fun to play around with than Lu's imo.

As a quick aside, did you get your free transcendence? It's pretty quick honestly. Log in, choose which characters take part in the event and then look in the mail box of that character.
I now have 6 more characters with Transcendance myself. -

Just sayin'I just ran the Arena score calculator and I get the exact same score using 1 Ike with my standard Lucina, Nino, Nowi core than by replacing Lucina by a second Ike and blessing Nino (Nowi already has an Earth Blessing). And I'd much rather have a +7 Lucina with a refined Falchion than two unmerged Ikes when going into the arena. Not to mention I can then fodder Warding Breath to make Nowi stronger.

I dunno it makes sense to me that Y!Tiki would get way more votes than A!Tiki since the former is 5* exclusive while the latter is available at 3-4*. I've only ever gotten 3 Y!Tiki and it was all from sniping on a banner where she appeared. Meanwhile, I currently have 23 copies of A!Tiki sitting in my barracks currently and that's not counting the ones I've used as fodder or had to send home due to lack of space. So it seems perfectly logical to me that Y!Tiki would be much further ahead than her Awakening version. And it has nothing to do with popularity since A!Tiki is 21 votes ahead of her younger self in CYL2.

Is nobody realizing that Ike boosts your arena score during earth season since he is a legendary hero? He's quite literally just like Fjorm, foddering him away would be the same as foddering Fjorm away :eyes:
I've already gotten a V!Ike from the previous legendary banner so I have no problem foddering him to make Nowi or Tiki stronger. Though I wouldn't fodder him if he was my only copy since there might be some "Use Ike" quests in the future considering he's a free unit.

Same here. To go into another voting event right after CYL2 is already baffling, but not only did AHR last longer than CYL (to the point that it was a chore to vote everyday), but the reward is so much worse. If they follow the same model as the previous CYL event, we'll get to actually choose who we want in the top 4. Here we're just forced to take number 1.
A Hero Rises was doomed from the start to leave some people feeling salty because of how much it will feel like a wasted opportunity to some people. There has to be a couple of players that saw this as a chance to finally get the 1 unit they failed to pull multiple times, but they'll have to bow to the whim of the majority (or in this case to the largest minority since Ike only got 33% of the votes in the final round)
I really hope we don't see A Hero Rises 2.0 next year. Either give us a free 5* star we have no choice in or allow every player to choose the unit they receive. Don't make it subject to a vote. Though if they do decide to re-do it, I hope they learn from this one and at least let people choose from the top 4 and don't push a character the moment the event is revealed.

Totally agree with this. If they'd just announced that V!Ike was the reward for a special anniversary Xenologue, pretty much everyone would have been happy.
But making it based on the result of a vote presented as a "Choose your own free unit" is really dumb. I found it pretty lame when the event was revealed and I can't say I'm all excited now that it's over and the results are out. The whole event was just 'meh' overall.

This event leaves a sour taste in my mouth honestly, but at least I'll be able to give A!Tiki or Nowi Warding Breath...

SpoilerBetrayal Takumi is literally Clarisse with 4 more Res. Skadi gives him 3 more Spd, but I don't think its effect makes it worth to use it over the standard Brave Bow. So I think regular Takumi is still better since he can hit 35 Atk with a boon while this one is stuck at 31.

Yep. With the half EXP thing it's actually pretty fast, especially if your character is level 50.

IIRC similar events for the 1st and 2nd paths lasted around 2 weeks. Though there's not much for you to do with your Asura with this event, you can just log in and claim your rewards since they're tied to levels benchmarks and you're 99.
However you can choose two characters per account for those events, so if there's another character that's a third path (+ Rose's 4th path) that you'd like to level up, you could take advantage of this event since it also cuts by half the amount of EXP you need to level up.

So I just learned that starting tomorrow, there will be an event that give free Transcendence promotion to 3rd path characters (like Asura). No quest completion required, it's sent right to your inventory (or mail box).

I don't know how it's handled elsewhere in the world, but the price of dentist operations seem crazy to us Canadians, especially since we never have to pay the bill for other health related operations since it's covered by Universal Healthcare. But yeah, a root canal treatment can cost up to 1106$ and a crown can cost around 2000$.
And I'm online, so I'm ready when you are.

I was afraid when I left the dentist since I wasn't aware at the time that I had insurance with my school, but knowing that it's there really helped alleviate some of them. I still need to see how much they'll really cover, but at least there's hope.

After an event where I was told at the end of a routine cleaning that I needed gum graft, my wisdom teeth removed and that I had cavities, I think I've been sort of dreading going to the dentist. This latest turn of events doesn't help.
And since I need a break after today's emotional roller-coaster (this whole root canal surprise plus an exam I just completed), I'm gonna relax tonight after supper, so if you're free, we can try knocking out those last 2 levels you need.

There's still no date for it since I need to look around for how to pay the operation. It costs more than a semester at my university, but thankfully being a student there grants me insurance for dental procedures for up to 750$, so that should cover about half of the total cost hopefully.

Just went to the dentist to have a cavity treated only of the dentist to realize mid-way through that I somehow experienced a rare occurrence where my gum decided to crawl into a fissure in my tooth. The end result is that it affected my pulp and now I have to get a root canal treatment.
I love going to the dentist...

Oh I wasn't aware that it was supposed to represent someone. For some reason, I thought it was a cute way of saying the guy who brought the Pooh had attended those two Olympics.

Well thanks to the Arena rewards, I finally got enough feathers to finalize my third +10 5* unit :
As long as she doesn't one-shot the opponent, she gets Galeforce. And thanks to Nowi being a bonus for the next season, I'll be able to use her alongside Lucina, Nino and Nowi in the arena. Good thing too since Alm is a bonus unit as well and Nowi might need help from another blue unit to deal with him.
