[spoiler=Revelation spoilers duh] I see talk of how Azura and Corrin being related being kept was a bad thing, but could you provide a reason why? Just because it's incest doesn't mean that it's terrible. For Azura and Corrin, it doesn't really hurt anything. I'm actually pretty glad it stayed tbh.

I like Niles as an option, but losing Nina is the worst. I'd have prefered Keaton and Silas, but oh well. I also think Orochi's support would have been pretty killer. Missed opportunity there. Scarlet too I guess.

I actually adore Effie's voice. I think Marisha Ray already did well as Oboro and Mikoto, and I find Effie really amusing. It's not the same personality as her Japanese one, but honestly that would be pretty boring. I'm glad they spiced her up in the localization. I mean, I had a friend who likes Awakening but didn't want this game because of stuff like skinshipping, but after it was removed in the English version and after I showed her Percy (she likes Kid Icarus), Arthur, and Effie, she decided to buy Conquest

That line sounded like Aigis, which was incredibly confusing considering how Karen Strassman doesn't play her. it sounded remarkably like aigis

English is high quality. People have these massive standards and would be disappointed by anything. Is the dub as good as Cup of Tea stuff like Awakening or Xenoblade X? I doubt it. However, it's still really well done. Orochi is one of my favorite characters and her voice was a major component in that.

You say this but: Why not share the spotlight with Kid Icarus, Mega Man, Metroid, and Murasame Castle (which counts)? Metroid has an obvious disaster coming and got literally nothing for it's 25th. Kid Icarus just came back, so why not acknowledge that?

Orochi is my life omg. She's so eccentric and amazing. I like Selena way more than I did three years ago. I actually like every royal sibling, especially Camilla, Elise, and Takumi. Felicia of course.

I can't tackle all of that, but Avel was always Avel and Michalis was misspelled in the first place. Those changes aren't very indicative about the localization as a whole, and Avel wasn't even a change. I'll also say that Setsuna's voice is great and all of those voices are flat out subjective as to whether you like them or not.

I like Arthur and I do agree, but single digit Crits happening in this game is weirdly common. It's similar to how 96% hits can suddenly miss. I think he's still usable, but I've gotten some 3% Crits and my Corrin's been 3% critted. It all depends on how the RNG falls.

Everything except "Hero King" is an actual skill gotten. The amiibo classes gain 4 skills. In addition to Rightful King, Lucina gets Aether just like Ike.

I'm also really sick of lobster jokes. I love lobsters and yet I never found it funny in the first place. Ryoma isn't even the best Hoshidan male, much less Hoshidan sibling. I don't think Walhart is that lobster-y either, but I don't like it when aspects of characters become jokes in general. At least Orochi, Reina, Azama, and Setsuna aren't popular.

I enjoy Takumi, but I like Setsuna better. She's 100% inferior, but I still love her. As for favorite archers in the series, I love Tanya for probably no reason.

Mozu can reclass as soon as possible; you don't need to be level 10 in this game. Whether you want to reclass her or not is up to you, but you don't have to level her or anything. I'd say GK!Jakob is definitely necessary though.

I would say Berserker. Her and Arthur are your only base Fighters, whereas Soleil, Selena, and Laslow all make good enough Heroes. If you're using Arthur and he's Berserker, then go Hero. If you're using any of the others/Hero Arthur, go Berserker.

I'm fine with people preferring Conquest, but it's a bit much when people assume that since Hoshido gets pandered too, all the Hoshidan characters is boring. I'm sick of these assumptions from both Birthright players about Conquest and Conquest players about Birthright. I mean, Birthright has Azama, Setsuna, Saizo, Rhajat, Reina, Orochi, Kaden, and Hana. I'd say Birthright has better characters than Conquest in fact. Conquest has Camilla, Keaton, Leo, Elise, Arthur, and Charlotte though, so it's very slight.

On conquest, I'm probably marrying Keaton. I'm not a furry or anything, but he's super hot. His voice is the obvious factor, but his open-near-the-top outfit makes him even better. On Birthright, I'm marrying Azama because he's precious.

Huh. I do find it interesting that no Revelation topics have been made, but more likely than not the limited stock means that Special Edition people like don't use this site. That or they want to play the other routes first.

Play Normal. Chapter 10 is one of the worst experiences in Fire Emblem and would be worth going Normal just for it. Conquest Hard is harder than most Hards in the series.

Agreed. I also see people saying that this is the cherry on the cake for localization and it pushed them over the edge, but changes have been overwhelmingly positive. I don't care about Dual Audio so that change doesn't affect me, the voice work is really great, best of course being Reina and Yukimura, skinshipping being replaced with conversations makes the mechanic less repetitive, as it would become tedious after a few chapters in the Japanese version, and a lot of dialogue and characters such as Peri or Soleil have been improved. I'd call this a good localization.

This is the definition of privledge. All of those series have at least two characters. So maybe you don't care about Pikmin, but some people do, and Pikmin has one singular character. Wire Frame Mac is literally the same character, and the Koopalimgs were satellites for Jr when they were planned in the first place. I'm fairly certain that you refuse to see it from Pikmin's perspective. Pikmin is one of the only non-Retro, pre-4 series to only have one character, with dead F-Zero and Mario Spinoffs Yoshi and Wario being its companions. I think that Alph would be the epitome of fair. Pikmin deserves two characters just like everyone else, clone or not. This is also saying nothing of how 3DS limitations nerfed Olimar into the ground. Pikmin doesn't even get to keep a viable character, whereas Meta Knight, Zero Suit, Fox and Sheik are all top tier.

yeah notell that to Alph, who got the worst treatment of any character in the game. 75% of people probably forget he exists. Feel free to dislike Lucina or whatever, but no character deserves Alph's treatment. I would trade the Mario Maker stage away for Alph to be his own character. His treatment isn't fair, Pikmin itself's treatment isn't fair, and I laugh when I see someone think that that's a good idea.
