  1. Nowi is thousands years old, of course she'd acts younger, and looks young is a + for everyone except fetish. Act like a few thousands years old person, should behave like Risen already. I Hate Frederick because... I hate Kjelle because she's snoobish, daughter of Vaike and she inherit wrong skill twice(my fault, wanted gamble, but got zeal, in two of my game, zzz). I hate Vaike because he's a brute without brain, and I hate dumba$$es. I love Cynthia because she found me 2 Aversa's Nights when I recruit her. I love Tharja and Noire because I'm .......BWAHAHAHAHA
  2. I thought its about Beastbane vs wyrmbane? Beastbane is weaker because Beast Killer is better? Wyrmbane has wyrmkiller to compete too. Beastbane is a better skill than wyrmbane because it got higher coverage, and those beast will get killed in one round no matter whether it is beaststones or beast killer.
  3. Unless I'm wrong, Limit Breaker don't raise HP cap right? Anyway, I find it amusing that people grind lb for troll teams.
  4. Donnel for Tharja and Gaius for Nowi. I don't like Gaius with Tharja, sweets and creepy don't goes well with each other.
  5. DLC skills cannot be passed down anyway. +10 to all stats just totally make the DLC for +2 all stats obsolete. I dislike all +2 individual stats skills because one Limit breaker is already 5 times the amount and you just need to grind abit more/stats up. The cap need to be 10 for characters with armsthrift but max luck of only 40. All the faire should be +10 and make stronger post game enemy to balance out.
  6. Donnel's armsthift on other children serves you better. I can agree with not having galeforce since she's a tank, but armsthift is really wasted on her. Kellam!Nah is overrated too, highest defense is not necessary when enemy couldn't get through the weaker fathered Nah. Sol is about the only heal in enemy turn for manakete, and since she's a tank, healing is more important. Unless she can ORKO with vantage+Luna, Sol is usually are superior option.

  8. You mean to those that DON'T like grinding? If you like grinding, you won't feel the need of aptitude. Those LTC or non-grind will feel for aptitude because they don't/can't grind.
  9. Gaius the next best, galeforce and sol. Avatar is better because of two dragon daughters and same skillset. Grinding is easy, if you spent hours just to hit cap limit breaker, you definitely doing it wrong. Donnel is a waste for Nah, since Nah statswise is already good, and the reason pairing is for aptitude, there's no way to face palm in face palm. Armsthrift works for dragonstone+, I know, because I paired Donnel with Nowi my first run, and I REGRET. Don't follow me unless you just want the support log. On side note, pointing to the Chrom x Nowi mistake, story wise there'll be a ruler who physically lived for at least a thousand years. I think the children will revolt.

  12. its a great challenge. really troublesome to maintain all your first tier rallied at all times. you're not using fred right? or you reclass him to first tier?
  13. Herny!Cynthia will going to stir some storm in this forum, lol. I have HenryXSumia and GregorXMiriel in my current playthrough, but I've yet to recruit Laurent, so I can't do recommendation on him. Fred!Gerome is very strong tank, Stahl!Yarne because you can get Lethality Sniper, or Vantage or just too many options. Beaststone+ can be bought, so don't need to worry about armsthift and as support you can turn him into Berserker or Dreadfighter. He also get the most breakers except tomebreaker( the best one =/ ). Ricken gives the most sought after Archer tree (sarcasm) and as father, gives the highest magic growth, more than Libra. Libra gives Sorcerer class which seals the deal, unless the mother provides sorcerer tree too. (Depends, since the remaining children are better physical). I have Donnel x Nowi in my first PT, and I regret since Armsthift is wasted when dragonstone+ can be bought, Donnel have great stats cap, so does manakete, meaning overkill when you can have more strong children. Aptitude is 'useless' if you're good in grinding with unlimited 2nd Seal, and though Sol is good, it should be fathered by Gaius for Galeforce also.

  15. I level spotpass characters and update my logbook, Thats why I have easier time playing new pt. Renown bonus, and spotpass preserves your grinds, making grinding not so wasted. The first playthrough usually is to explore and see what class you like with which support, afterward will either be new difficulty or remix of parents. Leveling 4 rallybots, galeforce spotpass with despoil or armsthift+leif's blade helps grinding in new game. With just one rallybot (at least with spectrum,speed,strength,magic), you can level up Chrom faster (any 1st gen character) and use him to level your other characters in Lost Bloodline 3.(DLC not available in Europe yet) or COY3. Don't focus on multiple re-classes for your first play, there's spotpass with the kind of build you may want, and exploration opens up more combination possibilities, by the time you will have access to better grinding maps. Not worth tediously grinding so much to realize that not the build you like.
  16. Balance in single-player game? wut the heck?? Morgan, Avatar, Lucina, Nah OP? Don't use them. Too much power don't use them, Dual attack, Nesfutank too strong? Don't use them. Staff of Guidance maybe another 'paragon' but it's in form of stave, cannot attack and can only be use on cleric/monk, and those unit that is hard to level. Warp staves are cool, teleporting nesfutank in middle of enemies, or chain rescue.
  17. As much as I love Rightful King, I wouldn't use it alone with Aether too. Normally I'll add Rightful King Limit Breaker,with Aegis, Aether, Miracle, and/or Lethality. Then fifth slot as galeforce. RK is also good for non-LB armsthrift with at least 45 luck. If you just want more Sol, with just limit breaker, it proc more often than not already. Might as well add more damage for Sol to drain. shadykid is right, to get more of Sol/Luna, there's allot more options than to overkill with Aether. faire skills, support skills, defense, or critical skills are more common. Aggressor(male only) are also good with Aether. Lucina is one of the characters with most skills, I doubt there's not enough options.
  18. Staff of Guidance -> gives Veteran skill to wielder (stave) Idea is to give the character in the 'support' more experience, or gain more exp via counter/dual strike+.
  19. In my opinion, Luna/Sol + Aether is sort of wasted skill slots since 1 of them will be overwritten. Unless you're trying to Stack Lethality with the other proc that is not Aether, since if Lethality proc, means jobs done. It is much better to combo with Limit Breaker + Rightful King for higher chance of Aether. Anyway, it looks cool to have Sol + Luna + Aether. Vengeance and Astra can be added for fun =P

Rightful King + Lethality - I love this combo so much Acrobat + Pass - On cavalry classes like Dark Knight/Paladin/Great Knight/Bow Knight Lucky Seven + Quick Burn - Good dodge/hit Aggressor + Dual Strike+ - Stronger support attack Res+10 + Dual Guard+ - Higher Block against Magic Pavise + Tomebreaker - Tanker Iote's Shield + Swordbreaker - Remove weakness from Wyvern Lord Swordfaire + Dual Support+ - With Sol Katti as swordmaster will ensure high chance critical from support. Rally Heart + Rally Movement - +2 movement to all other units Charm + Bond - Team boost Veteran + Paragon - This counts?
  21. If crit based troll team, I prefer Tomebreaker, Focus, Anathema, Tomefaire, Luna with Excalibur. If you are bothered enough to grind for trolling, then swap Tomefaire with Counter. Tomebreaker increase your hit/avo against many tome user, and 1-R user will have to get around Counter. Dark Knight is the best for the movement speed. The best part is the opponent might not know you're trolling, since the above skills are so ordinary.

I personally don't like Fred so never pair him up. Virion is useless because Archer class is useless.(I paired him with Coordelia before though). Kids are basically enhance form of parents, Hence there's so many challenges around in playing only with 1st Generation Characters. If you pair up parents, you should match for the skills if you're not going for support log/story. Duplicate skills are wasted if other children can make use of the exclusive skills. If skills options are limited, then you should pair both parents according to the growth they're giving to the children, depending of what class you're making for them. Lethality, Miracle, Counter, Lucky Seven, Quick Burn, All Breaker are extremely annoying in streetpass. Armsthrift, Galeforce, Lifetaker is useless in streetpass because the opponent will reset even before the skill takes effect. Spotpass Ephraim with Rightful King and Lethality or Celica with the same skills are good. Manaketes are strong tanks, will waste your friend allot of time trying to kill them without wyrmslayer(sword/skill), unless he has lethality too. Dodge skills like breaker serve the same purpose as tanks, prolonging the battle. Anyway, the best bet is to have the whole team has Lethality with high speed characters. and equipped with 1-range brave weapon and Counter. That why, if your 4/2 times attack with lethality fails, they'll still kill themselves from the counter at 1-range.

Lifetaker + Galeforce means I can kill twice and remains in combat area with almost full health, With Renewal means I can have partial rallybot/rescue and not worry deciding whether to use starves, attack or rally. Majority of the time, you have Sol to heal in enemy phrase, and Lifetaker is useless for tanking. Dual guarding tanking and miracle works better with renewal also. IMO, healing are meant for tanking, if you're attacking, you should be focus on killing and not do a half-hearted. Moreover, Lifetaker may fail if enemy 'avoid' at the stupidly low chance. A psychic or fortify will do the job better, Lifetaker doesn't help fortify, while renewal at least heals without any other requirement. Why isn't 'bond' taken into comparison?
  24. SUMMONER Create 1 phantom max of (1 in game per summoner) resummon kills the previous. Phantom will have 1/2 of the stats of summoner and wielding the equipped weapon with -5 mt. Able to equip Lance and Tome. lv5 Skill - Sturdy - +5 res/def when attacked lv15 Skil - Animate - Newly Summoned Phantom can move on the same turn. +10 Strength and Magic to Phantom for that turn.
