Mods are actually pretty useless even for the post game, with the exception of speed (since high speed is needed to double many things). Limit breaker makes every other stat high enough to kill everything, hit everything and not be critted by anything that doesn't have a killer weapon. In the main game every mod is useless, since you won't be hitting the caps anyway.

Because since it's a normal run the only thing you should care about is the main game. Post game doesn't matter at all. Mods doesnt matter at all(Sully str mod is -1 btw). The only thing that matters is bases and growths.

Then there's not even a need to talk about optimal marriages, since the children are garbage pseudo-est archetypes for everything besides the post game. Thinking that way, one should marry chrom to Sully without a doubt, since her growths and stats are amazing, Lucina wouldn't be able to get galeforce anyway and Kjelle won't matter at all, since children are garbage for the main game.

It's not about rightful king. It's about luna + dual guard+ without marrying olivia to a father needed elsewhere. And most people say marrying chrom to olivia is the best option when min-maxing. On a normal run you should marry him to Sumia or to sully, since lucina won't be getting galeforce anyway (and Sully stats/growths are awesome). Also if you're not min-maxing mods don't matter at all.

Half the prologue. The map was just just too big and boring to keep me interested, and since every map on that game is a huge open field, i realized I wouldn't like it.

No he doesn't. Joining at level 19 of a promoted class is definitely not being underleved. And to be fair, FE2 Est fits every aspect of the archetype. Her growths are similar to the growths of other fire emblem games, even though most gaiden units have beyond terrible growths

Nowi is a great unit even lacking speed. In normal/hard she has no trouble at all, even if too slow in the beginning and in lunatic she one of the best units, but you have to baby her a little (as you have to baby everyone else but frederick). Her bases might look terrible, but the dragonstone increases them a lot, and when she joins you, she'll most likely be one of the units with the most def. And if you are using the wireless features, you can give her the renown speedwing and even buy one dragonstone+ from tiki to make her very broken.
