they're terrible. America pretty much modernized way too much.
And now I hate how people defend them from being because they watched it from their childhood.
Nostalgia is just dumb.
DBZ and Yu-Yu-Hakusho's English dubs are still better than the original Japanese.
Especially YYH's, where they don't even air or sell the original Japanese anymore even in Japan; They subtitle the English dub in Japanese instead.

I thought the VC anime was pretty keen.
Probably because I never played the game.
I played the game and read what little of the manga was scanlated (God knows WHY it isn't fully scanlated; It blows the anime out of the water)
There's the little issue of Vyse getting a bridge dropped on him in the shape of a train cannon shell, but... Oh, yeah, and the way [spoiler=Valkyria Chronicles]Faldio's death
was COMPLETELY changed. It was kinda pointlessly in the anime, where as in the games, [spoiler=Valkyria Chronicles]Faldio died while taking Maximilian and that Artificial Valkyrian System of his.

So. I'm severely disappointed in the ending for the Valkyria Chronicles anime, with how it got cut down and rewritten into blandness. God, it's like the fourth arc of the Umineko anime all over again... Although at least Valkyria Chronicles left out a fuckton less story than the Umineko anime did.

I'm not even sure where to start here. On the one hand, we have Popo openly admitting that she bats for the other team, or at least switch-hits (nothing wrong with that in and of itself, let me say straight-away), but then on the other hand, she seems to be implying that most guys don't have het-based interests, which does kind of rub me the wrong way. Perhaps what she meant was that a forum of guys is more apt to look fondly on female-on-female posturings than a forum of mostly women, and I honestly have no idea whether this is true or not. On the third hand, she also pretty much admitted to shipping Edgeworth X Wright (or Wright X Edgeworth), neither of which are forgiveable. (von Karma X Edgeworth all the way, please and thank you.) Not only that, but she pretty much looked down on the whole premise of role-playing (though perhaps intended only to encompass in-universe fan-fiction RP, and not completely original work RP), and also shipping wars in general. I am now tempted to begin some sort of Fire Emblem ship-to-ship combat, simply to be a contrarian.
(Do anyone know which ships Popo prefers, so I can tailor my best anti-ships?)Pfft, Frannie's too busy with Andrews to have a pairing with Edgeworth. If Edgeworth should be paired with anyone, it should be Kay Faraday. Personally, I think he should wait for someone better, but...

You didn't know Marthur was asian at all. I've know this for a long time (At least a year, albeit probably from some off comment of someone else and not Marthur himself...)
As NTG said, Marthur's ethnicity has been mentioned by others in the past.
