Yes exactly that is what I meant that is the problem right there when i make Leaf go to speak to her to have her retreat he can`t! at all no matter how hard I try. So yeah I was wondering what could have gone wrong there.

Hey there guys it is me again with yet another question. So I was hacking FE4 with nightmare all looked like it was going well until it came down to Leaf and Altenna! something in the game is wrong now and I don`t know how to fix the problem without starting my hack over again completely that I am trying to avoid though as I put countless hours and days of work into it as is and I`m so close to being done. So anyways the problem I see Altenna and she shows up with absurdly high stats Cuan or Ethlin did not have those stats I tested it two ways by both training them and not. But the high stats thing is not the problem it is on the chapter after the problem comes when I make Leaf try and talk to her to recruit her the recruit option does not show up!! so she can never join! this is a big problem as i don`t want any of the playable characters like that screwed up. I don`t know what could cause that in nightmare I checked the 1st gen base love points and lovers thing and fixed it I think,as while playing around in nightmare I changed Siglud and Ethlin love points but I reverted to normal I think I believe it was originally 0. I checked Children definition section of nightmare that is all normal Leaf is still Altenna`s brother so I don`t know what could mess them up. Maybe it is the hacked equipment?? i do have ethlin with the circlet which is a diadora/yuria only item hmm or maybe it is because she has the Tyrfing? hmm maybe not the Tyrfing as everyone else behaves normal with it. I don`t know something broke and I want to know a way to fix it Altenna has to be connected to something in the game that i maybe messed up and not noticed.

Oh Hey Lamia one more thing as you may know about it are the 2nd generation substitute characters locked and fixed like Celice is? I`m asking as I tried editing them twice only to arrive in the second half of the game and see my changes did not go at all so I am just curious about that so I can know weather or not I am wasting my time with them if so I will just focus on the normal children characters.

Yeah it finally started working that player editor thing at first I would use it and it would do nothing but now it goes great so I am pretty much set for that one. Thanks

Hey there everyone it is me again Well I`ve halfway good news i finally learned how to use nightmare sorta i am still confused about some stuff but most is going well. Now the question i have come with today is does anyone have a more complete player weapon editor? similar to the 1st gen character editor? As what I noticed even in the shop editors is where are the enemy exclusive weapons and items? they are supposed to be there I need an editor that allows me to place enemy only weapons into player character item slots. As the hack I am making will be centered around Holy Blood and Holy weapons.

My main goal is quite simple and small but here is what we are looking at 1.Holy Blood 2.Arena Battle music 3.Weapons & items 4.Skills 5.Classes 6.Promotions That is the basic look on things heh if i can`t get all of the stuff done I will still be happy with just Classes,Holy Blood,Skills,Weapons

Ohh thanks so much that was two things I messed up on I had nightmare 2 and all I had was the JP FE4 game I was under the thought that any nightmare version worked it it. I have already deleted nightmare 2 I will find an older version and find a english patched FE4 rom.

Hello everyone it has been very long. Anyway After hmm lets see about 2 years since I last tried and failed I am once again trying to use nightmare to hack FE4! but I find myself again stuck on the same thing as the first time that drove me to quit. How in the world do you use it at all? I have it but it make me doubt the thing even does anything other than just to stare at it. Maybe I am for one missing pieces to it and that is why it may need other programs to use it. I have one thing atleast and that is the emulator and game of course. And Lunar IPS to but that may be an optional piece and may not be needed I just have it for patching already made hacks made by others to play them. And yes i have searched the web for tutorials for beginners such as myself but only to not find anything remotely helpful and most guides are aimed at FE6,FE7 and FE8 while great guides yes they don`t help as I am not doing GBA FE. I`ve tried youtube for some visual guides but shockingly there is next to no vids displaying nightmare in action. So the only way really is to seek out someone who has been there and done it already and has hacked an FE game already. I have taken a photo of where I am stuck at I have looked through every file in that folder but they seem to be just text documents and the NMM things just plain won`t open so something is missing that I did not pick up maybe. Anyway thanks in advance I can`t wait to begin using it as I heard it is quite fun using nightmare to mess around with FE!

Welt castle? oh man I don`t remember all the previous areas I visited but I think I know what you are talking about and I may be in luck I have the bishop guy Lee in Holmes group and I got him from a castle like place so maybe there is still some hope. Or yeah other option load up another one of my save states sigh I think I have an old one saved on chapter 9 or so but man that was pretty tough journey but eh i think I can make it.

I have recently started Tearring Saga finally and it is an awesome game harder so far than many FE games I have played. But anyway down to the point as maybe a Tearring Saga expert here may know and I hope the game is not so cruel as to leave a player like that heh as not everyone knows that a split happens. Anyway yeah so Runan? Ryunan? whatever that main characters name is who looks a lot like Leaf from FE5 heh and Holmes split up at around chapter 11 so that is cool and aall but hereis the problem! since I did not know they split up I am stuck Homes group only has 5 characters in it! abd they are characters I had no intention on using long story short none will survive and I tried to do the menu thing where you can trade units between Holmes and Runans groups but the option is no longer there so I hope the worst has not happened i don`t want to start over as the chapters before the split were hard as heck I had to save state like crazy to make it through. So is there a way to still trade units? I thought it would be like FE2 where you could trade between groups anytime you wanted. and If I can`t do that then please tell me the few chapters coming up for Holmes is not too hard for 5 characters to handle...well make that 5 3 as 2 others don`t have weapons I left all the good stuff with the other guy...and the good units so is it possible for Homes,Shigen and Katri to survive alone? oh wait...Katri kinda does not have any healing staves on her.... Mel and Enteh has them all.... ok well katri still has the zombie staff maybe summoning zombies can help a bit... argh I don`t know but i need to know how to trade units again without starting over again I`ve come so far and it was not easy getting to chapter 11.

Ok this is for anyone who has played Touhou Double Spoiler I tried the score file thing but I am not sure what the site is talking about I tried to place the score file like I do any other file in a game folder but it does not work :( turns out I need to take extra steps that I don`t understand. I suck bad at these darn Danmaku shooters but I play better with certain characters I couldn`t help but notice only Aya is playable for a good chunk of the game I cannot make it beyond the second set of stages with her. So yeah I just Hatate unlocked so I can possibly move forward in the game Lol or continue to be stuck as I really stink at Touhou games yet...I still play them they are so fun but hell to play at times.

Ah I see that is good :) ah Alright heh. Hmm I`m trying to remember if we still have the old photos we have one we caught in particular was pretty crazy it was on my mom`s old camera. I hope the picture is still saved on our old PC as the camera is long gone but that photo my gosh best thing I`ve seen and something that I would never want to see again.

Now now let`s know go in this direction let`s respect each others thoughts and opinions on this topic. Anyway if I still had the recordings and pictures i would be glad to share them all we have gotten many things both through photos and recordings.

Eh call me crazy but I don`t fear death either as there is another step after we become ghosts I don`t know how many people here believe in ghosts but from personal experience I`ve seen and heard them as many places I`ve lived have been haunted that is the next step after death we pretty much stay in the same place and remain the same only thing different is we are not in our bodies anymore. So in short the body goes but the spirit forever remains.

Wow Celice! you too!? that is pretty sweet to have the FE4 guidebook in your Fe collection! I have a copy of FE4 and FE3 complete with box and booklet and what not. And a copy of FE6 but it is not complete just the cartridge I have. Ah you are so lucky to have the JP copy of FE8 complete heh Heh don`t forget Ishtar,Alvis and the others would be pretty sweet if they made those too...actually make some for all of them haha.

Wow that is so cool!! you have all the figures!! that is a nice collection!! heh and i see to company them are pokemon and various anime ones! nice haha I want to set up something similar when I start collection :D I always knew those FE4 figures would look sweet on a shelf. But yeah I will put mine along side my Famicom games and kinda have that nice set up.

So I`m curious who here has had the luck to obtain those sweet rare FE4 figures?? heh I`ve always wanted them oh man I love FE4 and having atleast 1 would really be sweet so if anyone actually owns one how is it having one? ah and the trading card game too not any downloads of the TCG though I`m talking like physical collections of the cards if I`m not mistaken those are pretty darn rare too I also hope to obtain those one day (actually I saw a FE4 booster pack on ebay awhile back for only 10$ should have gotten that sooner) But yeah... It must be pretty fun having them I wonder if they will ever release anymore in the future? they are not finished yet from what I saw it is only set #1 ah!!! now I remember it is called exceed a generation yeah that figure set so yeah who has some?

Recently I got a PC Engine emulator and tried to record videos from it. So i use the input record option since for some weird reason record to AVI is always grayed out if anyone knows why that is please do let me know then I can avoid the search that I`m doing right now. Anyway I used input record since that is the only option I can pick and playing the recording back in the emulator is no problem at all but then I go into the folder where it is stored and it is in .trx format I asked a few people about it but they don`t know. What I want to do with this file though is change it to a format that is compatible with youtube AVI,MP4 etc. so i was hoping maybe someone here has come across that strange file type? I will understand if no one has before as it is very uncommon to see such a file. I tried a file converter site just one but i get an error message and they say source file format is still unknown. So is there any file converter out there? that can change this file to another more common file type?? I will even do a desperation move if need be and change the format manually if possible (though that would probably be risky) anyway yeah who has ever seen these file types before. You know this file type is probably a very old one too probably and that is why it is so unknown and uncommon I don`t know haha but the world is a large place :D so surely someone else somewhere has seen this file before well that is all the info I can provide at the moment for this mystery file type I will continue searching about this thing and find a way to crack it open and change it to a normal more known type. Lol or maybe not haha.

Ah well for the new Fire Emblem game stuff I can`t help you much but the older ones they are easy to find quite a few of on ebay. FE4 has the figures like Gemma said. And there is also the rare Fire Emblem trading card game by all means if I were you I would grab some of those cards and figures as they are quite rare. And i remember seeing a figure set not for FE4 but for FE3 it was a mini figure set was pretty neat but again very rare... But yeah ebay it or try amazon.

FE4 and FE5 for me I could really get into their stories not to mention they are one of the more darker FE games these tow stories were quite dark compared to the others. My next favorite would be FE3 I loved FE3 story I found nothing wrong with it heh from the big escape Marth had to make from Hardin`s army! that chapter on the bridge was epic!! that chapter and the few after you really could get into it and had the feeling of run! haha which you should anyway as after awhile Astram comes for you! on the desert chapter ah FE3. then my other is FE6 though the story does begin pretty slow and drags a bit but as you move on it picks up. And the rest of the games stories were ok to average for me.

In the Afternoon and at night. I don`t do mornings too good I`m always so tired in the morning me and mornings just don`t get along.

Wow awesome!! it runs so smooth! and I did not know that folder and site was by the author of SSF! wow! ok I will need to look into getting that version up and running then! You play so good!! and you used Maria! one of my favorites but I have not mastered her summon skills yet i am not good at the whole button combo input thing so I just use her basic kicks and energy shots which can charge up. You played like a pro there heh I`m stuck on Galamoth as Maria haha I will find a way to beat him though.
