  1. Don't worry! It's not your fault. I thought I had reserved enough posts, and you posted after I removed the notice about reserving. Although if you can get your post removed that will help, but again, it's not your fault.
  2. What would you suggest I add? Like explain that it compares the unit to alternate versions of themself, and not other units of the generation.
  3. I guess what I'm giving a 10/10 for is comparative to other versions of that unit. Jamka!Lester scoring a 9.5 means he is almost a perfect version of Lester. Levin!Sety getting a 10/10 means he is a perfect Sety but has no relation to Lester. I'll fix Jamka!Lana's rating. As for the scale of 1-5, I considered using it, but even if I only use a few numbers, I like having the variety as an option, which I personally think is better. (For example a 7.5 would look odd in a 1-5 scale as 3.75)
  4. I guess I'll put Aideen in the first section.
  5. I'll leave it as is for now, but if it starts to cause problems I'll spoiler text everything.
  6. [spoiler=Brigid]Brigid Son: Faval Daughter: Patty Pairings ranked: Lex, Midir, Jamka, Dew, Holyn Note: Inheritance is reversed. That is, Faval inherits major Ulir blood, Brigid’s items, and if his father has major holy blood, only minor version of it. Meanwhile Patty will inherit only minor Ulir, her father’s items, and if her father has major blood, she will inherit major holy blood. This means that unlike with other pairings, the father plays a bigger role in the daughter, not the son. Faval is also hard to ruin, but like with Fury I will hold them to the same standards as any other pairing. [spoiler=Lex]Lex [spoiler=For Faval]For Faval Faval will have the second highest HP growth, second highest Strength growth, second lowest Skill, lowest Speed, second lowest Luck, and highest Defense. He’ll be quite durable, and able to deal out large amounts of damage, but there is one problem: Ichival is the least accurate of all holy weapons, and with his low Skill, he’ll have problems hitting. His Luck is comparatively low, but in reality still high, so despite his low Speed he can dodge well. However, the problem with this Lex!Faval is that as a Sniper Faval should not be attacked in the first place, making the increased durability useless. Rating: 7.5/10 (Being durable is nice, but it’s not as useful for him as the stats he sacrifices) [spoiler=For Patty]For Patty She will have the second highest HP, Strength, second lowest Skill, lowest Speed, second lowest Luck, and highest Defense. Lex can’t pass anything down to her, so she’ll have only the Sleep Sword at first, which is far too heavy for her. She won’t be able to dodge well, and although somewhat durable and having somewhat powerful attack, she has better maximum stat capacity for Speed and Luck, than for Strength and Defense. She can take a hit, she would be better off dodging. Rating: 5/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills Faval will always have Pursuit as a class skill, while Patty will get it after promoting. Brigid also gives nothing (her Pursuit is class based) so it has to come from Lex. Ambush doesn’t do Faval any good, and Patty will likely not be doing much killing, so attacking first is of little value. Elite is nice for Faval, but it really helps Patty. She won’t get Pursuit until she promotes, so Elite helps her get there faster. That makes up for a large part of the negative of not getting Pursuit. Rating: 8/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire They have a low base love points, but a very large growth. There are no conversations to boost their love points, as well as that Lex will be held back by staying at Brigid’s side. Lex will be badly hindered by this so, it is not easy. Rating: 0/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this is not a great pairing. It makes the kids excel in stats that are largely useless for them, while sacrificing the stats that they need for their class. It’s not easy to acquire, and while the skills are nice, once Patty promotes, she would be better off with another skill instead of Elite. Rating: 4/10 [spoiler=Midir]Midir [spoiler=For Faval]For Faval Faval will have second lowest HP, Strength, Skill, third lowest Speed, lowest Luck, and second lowest Defense. Statistically this is inferior to Lex because although he has better Skill, he is only slightly better at it; the sacrifice of Strength and Defense is much more notable. He does have better Speed though. Rating: 3/10 [spoiler=For Patty]For Patty She’ll have the second lowest HP, Strength that’s only better than with a mage father, third lowest Skill, third lowest Speed, lowest Luck, and second lowest Defense. She’ll barely be durable because of her low Speed and Luck, while her HP and Defense suffer dramatically. With Lex she couldn’t dodge well either, but with Midir, now she can barely dodge, and she can’t even take a hit. Rating: 2/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills Charge benefits Faval, and if anything hurts Patty. She won’t be fighting to kill, she’ll only be fighting to steal, and extending combat is only going to hurt her. However, with Pursuit Patty can fight a little better before promotion, but once she promotes, it’s useless and Charge is not going to hurt her as much, but it’s still a negative. Rating: 7/10 (Bonus for Pursuit, but Charge is a negative) [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire Midir has a higher base love points with Brigid than with Lex, but with a lower growth. There is a conversation that gives 100 points. Midir may need to hold back, but as a horseback archer, he can attack and then move back to Brigid’s side which is better than with Lex. Rating: 7.5/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this is inferior to Lex. Statistically they will be worse than with Lex, and although Pursuit is good, Charge hurts her more than Pursuit helps, because after promoting Pursuit is useless, but Charge still hurts. It’s easier to acquire than with Lex, but that doesn’t redeem it much. Rating: 3/10 [spoiler=Jamka]Jamka [spoiler=For Faval]For Faval Jamka will have the same HP as Lex, highest Strength, lowest Skill, second lowest Speed, second highest Luck, and second lowest Defense. It’s a tough call to make if this is better or worse than Lex. I would say its better because, even if the Skill reduction is a negative, the amount it is reduced by is insignificant compared to the increase in Strength, Speed, and Luck. Unfortunately he is held back a lot by the decrease in Skill, but at least he can dodge better. Rating: 5.5/10 [spoiler=For Patty]For Patty Patty’s HP will be beaten by some, but also will beat others. Her Strength will be the highest, her Skill will be the lowest, the second lowest Speed, third lowest Luck, and second lowest Defense. It’s the same as with Faval in that it is better than Lex for the same reasons, but to a larger extent because she needs the Speed and Luck much more, and the Skill difference is not as important, because swords are typically accurate. Unfortunately, Jamka can’t pass anything down. Rating: 6.5/10 (She can fight well when needed, can dodge well, and although her Skill is low, it isn’t as important, but is brought down by lack of inheritance) [spoiler=Skills]Skill Charge has the same results as with Midir. Instead of Pursuit, Jamka gives Continue, which may actually be better here, because eventually both kids will get Pursuit anyways, but neither will ever get Continue. Patty will have some trouble getting to promotion, but once she does, with her high Strength she may be able to fight better. Rating: 7/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire The pair will have a higher than average base for Brigid, and a lower growth per turn than Lex. However the two have the same class, so keeping them next to each other shouldn’t be a problem. Rating: 10/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this is still not great for Faval, but better for Patty, decent skills, and is very easy to acquire. As stated Patty is the priority so it is better than it seems. Rating: 7/10 [spoiler=Holyn]Holyn [spoiler=For Faval]For Faval This gives Faval the highest HP growth in the game. He’ll have the third highest Strength growth, highest Skill, second lowest Speed, second lowest Luck, and second lowest Defense. Despite the somewhat low Defense, thanks to the massive HP growth he’ll be very durable. Odo blood also means his Skill will be great, fixing his accuracy problems. Unfortunately, his Strength won’t be as high as with other pairings, but it won’t be too bad. Rating: 8.5/10 [spoiler=For Patty]For Patty Odo blood means that Patty can also use B rank swords before promotion. This is a huge benefit because not only can she inherit more swords, she will also be able to use the Hero Sword. This will be of great benefit because it will increase her fighting ability a lot. She’ll have the highest HP, third highest Strength, highest Skill, second lowest Speed, second lowest Luck, and second lowest Defense. She’s better statistically with Jamka, but is brought up a lot by not only inheriting C rank swords, but B as well. Rating: 8.5/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills Holyn will pass down Lunar Sword, but only to Patty. It helps Patty deal damage a lot, because it will activate often, and although she has somewhat low Strength, ignoring Defense means she will kill a lot more easily. Although Faval won’t get anything, he has Pursuit which is, in most cases, enough. Patty won’t get Pursuit until promotion, but with the Hero Sword (and I think she is a good candidate), she can do reasonable damage. Rating: 8/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire They have the same base and growth as Jamka, but no conversations to speed it up. They have the same movement range and given their roles they can stay together more easily. Holyn can attack directly, while Brigid provides support from his side. Rating: 8/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this is better than Jamka. It fixes any accuracy problems Holyn may have, and Patty can really benefit from inheritance. Lunar Strike really helps Patty, and while it would be nice if Faval got a skill, it’s not that big of a problem. It’s also relatively easy to acquire. Rating: 8/10 [spoiler=Dew]Dew [spoiler=For Faval]For Faval Faval will get the lowest HP growth, second highest Strength, second highest Skill, third highest Speed (but highest out of all non-mage fathers), second highest Luck, and second highest Defense. The stats are amazing here, and even if his HP is lowest, it’s still somewhat high. He’ll dodge well, and can deal out good damage, as well as take a few hits. He won’t have as high Skill as with Holyn, but with Holyn it’s overkill, and with Dew it’s lower, but not bad at all. Rating: 9.5/10 (Brought down only by the low HP growth) [spoiler=For Patty]For Patty With the same class, Dew can pass down any swords he can use before promotion. She’ll have the only HP growth that’s below 100% (for Patty), second highest Strength, highest Magic without a mage father, second highest Skill, third highest Speed (highest of all non-mage fathers), third highest Luck, and second highest Defense. She has a nice balance of stats, allowing her to dodge well, hit often enough (especially given swords’ accuracy), deal moderate amounts of damage, and her Defense will let her take a few hits. Inheritance is good, but unlike Holyn, she can’t use B rank swords until after promotion. Rating: 9/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills Dew gives Solar Sword and Bargain. Solar Sword can only go to Patty, but will give a large boost to her durability. Bargain means little for Patty, but it’s a huge benefit for Faval. The Ichival is extremely expensive to repair, but with Bargain it’s much more affordable. Not having Pursuit is bad, but at least Patty gets it after promotion. Rating: 9/10 (Bargain is that helpful) [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire By the time Brigid arrives, Dew will likely be promoted and have higher movement than Brigid. They have no conversations together, and Dew and Brigid have the slowest growth out of all of Brigid’s pairings. Dew will be held back by this, but will not necessarily be a frontline fighter. Rating: 1/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall If you can get past the slow love growth, this is easily the best pairing for Brigid. Both kids will have excellent stats, the skills are excellent, with the only negative being the difficulty to acquire it. Rating: 9/10 [spoiler=Brigid Summary]Brigid Summary 1. Dew 2. Holyn 3. Jamka 4. Lex 5. Midir
  7. [spoiler=Tiltyu]Tiltyu Son: Arthur Daughter: Tinny Parents ranked: Lex, Azel, Levin, Claude, Nobody Substitutes: Son: Amid Daughter: Linda [spoiler=Lex]Lex [spoiler=For Arthur]For Arthur Arthur will have the second best HP, Strength, second worst Skill, lowest Speed, second lowest Luck, and highest Defense. However his Magic will be second lowest, meaning that until promotion he won’t deal much damage. After promoting Arthur can use swords, but with a somewhat low Strength cap, he won’t deal much damage. Arthur will need either the Pursuit Ring or a Hero Sword in order to fight well. Lex can’t pass anything down, so there is another problem. Overall he will be a moderate tank (hindered by his low Defense cap), but will never deal great damage, physical or magic. Rating: 2/10 (It would be a 0 if he didn’t get swords after promotion) [spoiler=For Tinny]For Tinny Tinny will have second best HP, Strength, second worst Skill, lowest Speed, second lowest Luck, and highest Defense. Her Magic is average for a physical father, but with her higher Strength after promoting she can use swords with some efficiency. She’s probably better off with Magic, but Lex does enable her to use swords. Rating: 6/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills This is the only reason this pairing will really be considered. This gives the killer combo of Ambush and Wrath, meaning that once the kids are below 50% max HP, they will always attack first and always critical hit, meaning that they will very likely kill the enemy. Their combat ability isn’t great, but it is boosted dramatically when their HP drops. Elite is nice, and given that the children will not be able to deal great damage, leveling up and promoting for the bonuses faster is a huge bonus. However, without Pursuit they are held back even more. Rating: 6.5/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire Tiltyu will not be fighting much and even if she does she has miniscule movement compared to Lex. They have an average love base and growth (for Tiltyu) and no conversation that will speed things up. Lex will be severely held back by this so this is not easy. Rating: 0/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall The only reason that this pairing would be used is the Wrath and Ambush combination. Both children will have lackluster combat ability unless they are below 50% of their max HP. Overall this is not a great pairing given the low combat ability of the kids, and the difficulty to acquire it. Rating: 3/10 [spoiler=Azel]Azel [spoiler=For Arthur]For Arthur Arthur will inherit anything that Azel can use, apart from swords. Arthur will have second worst HP, lowest Strength, highest Magic, second lowest Skill, second highest Speed, second lowest Luck, and lowest Defense. This makes him a significantly better Mage because both before and after promotion he can deal excellent Magic damage. He won’t be very efficient with swords, but he can much better utilize Magic anyways. The only negative would be the lack of competent physical damage, but that’s minor. Another setback is that fire magic is the worst magic to specialize in, but he’ll be fast enough that the weight won’t be too big of a setback. Arthur can also resort to using thunder magic, but will likely not inherit any tomes. Rating: 9/10 (-1 for lack of decent physical damage, and because there is one better pairing for him) [spoiler=For Tinny]For Tinny Her HP is either third best or third worst, worst Strength, best Magic, worst Skill, second best Speed, second worst Luck, and worst Defense. She’ll be an excellent mage, and later healer, can dodge often, but will not deal excellent physical damage. That’s not too big of a problem, but it still holds her back, even if it is a minor problem. She’ll get a slightly better ranking than Arthur though because she has the same advantages and disadvantages, but will inherit thunder magic so she won’t be held back by the heavy weight of fire magic like Arthur will likely be initially. Rating: 9.5/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills Pursuit is the only skill that Azel gives, which is enough. However as mentioned previously with other Azel pairings, Pursuit is great, but other pairings could give Pursuit and more. Rating: 8/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire The two have similar movement range, but by the time Tiltyu shows up, Azel will likely be promoted and will be held back by needing to be by his side. Azel could fight then move back from his position which may not be a bad idea given that he isn’t a great frontline fighter. The two have an average base and growth, but there is a conversation to get them 100 points closer, meaning that this isn’t too difficult. Rating: 6/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this is an excellent pairing for Tiltyu. The kids will be excellent mages and are only held back by their low physical damage, and Azel being held back. Another small problem is that Azel only gives Pursuit. The other reason the pairing is slightly lowered is that there is another pairing that is better. Rating: 8.5/10 [spoiler=Levin]Levin [spoiler=For Arthur]For Arthur This will give Arthur the second best HP, lowest Strength, second best Magic, second best Skill, best Speed, second lowest Luck, and lowest Defense. Arthur will inherit any wind tomes from Levin, including Holsety, meaning that he will be an excellent dodger. He will never have any problems dealing damage, so there is nothing to complain about. Like with Azel Arthur will have problems damaging with swords, but with Holsety he won’t need swords. Rating: 10/10 [spoiler=For Tinny]For Tinny The same differences that apply to Arthur apply to Tinny. Her Magic will be lowered even more so than with Arthur, but it’s still better than every physical father. Wind magic is probably the best magic type, and with Holsety blood, she can use better wind tomes, but she will likely end up with Tron anyways. She can be a great mage, but will not be able to deal good physical damage, which is actually a small factor. She can dodge well, and will have comparatively lower Luck, but not bad at all. She can heal reasonably well, but Azel gives better Magic. In the end this is a better version of Tinny though because the Magic is only slightly lower compared to the Speed difference. Note that once Tiltyu promotes, she can be given Levin’s Elwind, which is better than Elthunder, so Tinny can use that immediately thanks to minor Holsety blood. Rating: 9/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills Levin will pass down Continue and Critical. Continue will activate very often with their massive Speed, and Critical will activate often thanks to the high Skill Tordo blood gives. These are very good skills, but the key factor is that Pursuit is missing. In order for Arthur to kill reliably he will need the Pursuit Ring. Tinny will too, but will probably not be a main killer so she won’t need it nearly as much. Rating: 6.5/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire The two have an average growth and no conversations to speed things up. Levin will be held back because he can easily carry the army on his own, while Tiltyu will barely be surviving. They have similar movement range, but Levin will be moving right into range of enemies while Tiltyu needs protection. Rating: 4/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this is likely the best pairing for Tiltyu. There is much debate as to who is the better Holsety user, but that’s not a factor here. Arthur will be a killing machine with Holsety, and although it’s a shame he doesn’t have Pursuit, he can still deal excellent damage. Tinny will also be excellent, although there is another pairing that makes her even better. Rating: 9/10 [spoiler=Claude]Claude [spoiler=For Arthur]For Arthur He’ll have HP lower than Levin, although equal to Azel, the same Magic as Azel, second worst Skill, second worst Speed, highest Luck, and tied with Azel and Levin for lowest Defense. As in all cases with Major Blaggi, his Resistance will be massive. As for inheritance, Claude will pass down the Valkyrie Staff, but Arthur can’t use it. Claude can only use C rank tomes, which is the same as Arthur, except Arthur gets B thunder. However, Elthunder, the only B rank thunder tome will most likely be going to Tinny, so inheritance isn’t a problem. Claude’s staffs will need to be given to someone else though, because he can’t pass them down. Arthur will be able to do decent magical damage, although limited physical. He won’t have great Speed, but his Luck is excellent meaning he can dodge somewhat well. He can also tank against magic, so that is a benefit. This is inferior though to Azel and Levin, because of the Speed difference, and in Levin’s case, Holsety. Rating: 8/10 (Inferior, but by no means bad) [spoiler=For Tinny]For Tinny This really helps her out. The same differences that apply between Azel/Levin and Claude for Arthur apply to Tinny. The Speed difference is even larger, and Claude gives more Magic then Levin, but less than Azel. Statistically this is inferior, but it’s the Blaggi blood that redeems it. Tinny can use any staff (other than the Valkyrie Staff) massively increasing her ability as a healer. Rating: 9/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills He gives no skills. Rating: 0/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire They have a standard growth, but a higher than average base. There are no conversations to speed things up, but given that Claude will likely be healing long range with Reserve, and that Tiltyu won’t be doing much fighting, keeping them together shouldn’t be a problem. The only conceivable problem would be that if one of them gets used as a fighter, the other would be hindered, but there’s not much chance of that happening. Rating: 9/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this is inferior to Azel and Levin, but still better than Lex. Arthur is comparatively bad to Azel/Levin!Arthur. Tinny will be less of a fighter, but can be used as a better healer. This is a decent pairing, and although probably not a primary choice, if both Azel and Levin are taken, this is a good backup. The lack of skills does hurt them though. Rating: 7/10 [spoiler=Nobody]Nobody [spoiler=For Amid]For Amid Amid will have the second worst HP (compared to all Arthurs), slightly better Strength than any mage!Arthur, Magic equivalent to that of Levin, the lowest possible Skill, Speed, Luck, and Defense. Another difference is that while Arthur starts as a Mage and promotes to Mage Knight, Amid starts as a Wind Mage and promotes to Magefighter. That is a large difference because Arthur gets a horse and much better movement eventually, as well as until promotion, Amid can only use wind magic, not fire or thunder. However he gets a B rank, so he can use Elwind. However he is largely inferior to any version of Arthur, and although he will have a decent balance of Strength and Magic, it is largely meaningless because of his otherwise low stats. Rating: 0/10 [spoiler=For Linda]For Linda She will have the second lowest HP, lowest Strength, Magic tied with Claude, lowest Skill, Speed, Luck, and Defense. Like Arthur/Amid she has a different class. They both promote to Magefighter, but while Tinny starts as a Mage, Linda is a Thunder Mage. With Tordo blood, she starts with an A rank meaning she can use Tron even before promoting. That is pretty much the only advantage she has over Tinny. Rating: 1/10 (Bonus for Tron) [spoiler=Skills]Skills Amid will only have Continue which doesn’t do him much good given his pathetically low Speed. When it activates, it will help him kill, but barely. Linda gets Wrath and Elite, which are much better. Given her low stats, she will be dropping to low HP often, so she can kill much more easily. Elite means she’ll get better faster, which helps because she needs the promotion bonus, and at least after promotion, can be relegated as a healer. Unfortunately, she will likely die after one attack of Wrath, so it has little enemy phase value. Rating: 5/10 (Elite is that helpful for Linda, but Wrath and Continue have limited use, and there is no Pursuit) [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire This couldn’t be easier. All it requires is killing of Tiltyu. She will barely have any function in the army, so this won’t hinder the team at all. If you choose to let her live, just be careful not to let her fall in love. Rating: 10/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this is worse than even Lex. The kids will have unremarkable stats and lackluster skills, with the only redeeming factor being the easiness to acquire it. Rating: 3/10 [spoiler=Tiltyu Summary]Tiltyu Summary 1. Levin 2. Azel 3. Claude 4. Lex 5. Nobody
  8. [spoiler=Fury]Fury Son: Sety Daughter: Fee Pairings ranked: Alec, Noishe, Lex, Levin, Claude Note: Sety is almost completely impossible to ruin. Meaning compared to other units he’ll have a good rating that varies little dependent on his father. Here I will grade him just like any other because this is only about the children. I’ll be rating it just like any other, but you may want to weigh Fee more. Fury also has Pursuit, which means both kids will always have it, so Pursuit will never be a factor. [spoiler=Alec]Alec [spoiler=For Sety]For Sety Sety will have decent Skill, Speed, and Defense, but the bad part is a pathetically low Magic stat. He’ll never rise to large amounts of magical damage. He can take a few hits, but he’ll be returning low amounts of damage. Couple that with complete lack of inheritance, and this isn’t too good. The only redeeming factor is that Sety can heal, and be somewhat durable, extending the life of his team. Rating: 2/10 [spoiler=For Fee]For Fee Fee will have the third lowest HP, Strength, the second highest Skill, third highest Speed, second worst Luck, and tied with many for second worst Defense. She won’t stand out much, because although balanced, she’ll never deal great damage, physical or magical, and she won’t be able to heal well with her low Magic stat. Rating: 2/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills This is what makes people try this pairing. Alec gives Pursuit, which is useless, since Fury has it. However, he also gives Awareness, nullifying effective damage, meaning nothing for Sety, but Fee won’t be vulnerable to arrows. It’s a nice bonus, but there are other pairings that give skills better than Awareness. Rating: 6/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire They have a completely average love growth, and no conversations to speed it up. They have similar movement range, but Fury can fly, and will likely be used for utility instead of primarily fighting. They can stay together if they both fight but, for one Alec isn’t the best unit, and Fury will not be used like any other unit. Rating: 7/10 (Similar movement helps, but their varying jobs in battle makes it more difficult, as does lack of anything to speed them up) [spoiler=Overall]Overall This is mainly a novelty pairing. It gives unremarkable stats to both kids, and isn’t hard, but not easy to acquire. The main reason this pairing is done is to make Fee safe from arrows, which isn’t the best thing to base a pairing off of. Other pairings can give her significantly better dodging ability, which means she can dodge arrows more easily and not worry about being hit. Rating: 4/10 [spoiler=Noishe]Noishe [spoiler=For Sety]For Sety Compared to Alec, he gives more HP, Strength, and Defense, at the cost of Skill, Speed, and Luck. That alone makes him worse because with better Speed and Luck he can dodge more, the Strength is useless, and although the Defense is nice, isn’t as great as having Skill, etc. Noishe doesn’t pass anything down so there’s another negative. His magic is still bad, but with the increased HP and Defense he can heal and last longer, but there are much better pairings for him out there. Rating: 1/10 [spoiler=For Fee]For Fee Noishe gives third best HP, second best Strength, second worst Skill, worst Speed, second worst Luck, and either second best or third worst Defense. She is better than Alec!Fee because the stats that suffer are not bad at all, and the boost in Strength really helps her. After promotion she can heal, which unfortunately will not be her strong suit because Noishe gives her bad Magic. Thanks to the large Strength boost, she can deal competent physical damage, which is something some pairings don’t let her do. Rating: 7/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills Noishe gives Critical and Charge. Both will not activate too often given the somewhat low Skill and Speed of the children, but when it does, it will almost always be a kill. Both children will eventually get Continue (Sety at base, Fee on promotion) and with this combo they can kill well. Rating: 10/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire The exact same thing that happens with Alec happens with Noishe. Same rating. Rating: 7/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this is slightly worse for Sety, but much better for Fee. The skills given are also much more powerful than Alec, but Fee will need to be careful of bows. Overall better than Alec, because as stated, Sety is not easy to mess up, so Fee is the priority. Rating: 6.5/10 [spoiler=Lex]Lex [spoiler=For Sety]For Sety This takes the difference between Alec and Noishe, and stretches it even further. Sety will be extremely durable, but will not deal large amounts of damage. He can hold the team up well, because he can heal, and won’t need to be healed too often, but Sety should be a fighter not a healer. Rating: 1/10 [spoiler=For Fee]For Fee Like with Sety, the differences between Alec and Noishe are stretched to the extreme. However this is even better because of her massive HP and Defense, Fee can be a tank. She won’t have problems dealing damage, or hitting, but dodging does pose a slight problem. However, she can certainly take a hit, so this is pretty good for her. It’s just a little unconventional to have a tank, but not dodgy Pegasus Knight. Rating: 7.5/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills Lex gives Elite and Ambush. Elite is mostly beneficial to Fee, because she can promote much faster. Sety will probably need to level as much as possible in order to keep up with damage output, so it helps him too. Ambush benefits both kids, although mainly Fee, because there’s a much higher chance of Fee killing the enemy first than there is for Sety. Rating: 8.5/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire Similar to Alec and Noishe, only Lex will be fighting, while the other two might not be. They still have similar move though, so it’s not that big of a problem. Rating: 6/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this is slightly worse than Noishe. Sety will be slightly worse off, Fee will be better, and the skills and difficulty to acquire are worse. It’s not bad, but Noishe gives decent Defense and Strength, without compromising their Skill so much. Rating: 5/10 [spoiler=Levin]Levin [spoiler=For Sety]For Sety This is a great pairing for Sety. Sety will have the second best HP, second best Magic, second best Skill, best Speed by far, second worst Luck, and worst Defense. The low Defense is absolutely meaningless because with Holsety nothing will hit him. There is a glitch that causes Sety’s Speed to go so high that it wraps around, but given that it’s a glitch I won’t take it into account, just be warned. Sety will be outputting massive damage, and nothing can hit him in return so this is great. Anything Levin could use, Sety can so full inheritance is a huge bonus. Rating: 10/10 [spoiler=For Fee]For Fee Fee will have balanced Strength and Magic, but neither will excel meaning she can do moderate damage with either a standard or magic sword, but will not deal massive damage. She’ll have the second best Skill, best Speed, second worst Luck, and worst Defense. She’ll dodge often enough because of her large Speed stat and moderate Luck, but if she gets hit, it will hurt. Thankfully though, the boost in Magic means she can be a better healer than any of the previously mentioned pairings. This is a very good version of Fee, because she has two excellent stats, and nothing really suffers for it. Rating: 8/10 (Brought down by not being able to deal large damage) [spoiler=Skills]Skills Levin will give Continue and Critical. Continue is not so great because Sety has it as a class skill, and once Fee promotes, she will too. Critical on the other hand is great because of their high Skill, they will deal much more damage often. Continue is a great skill, it’s just that it’s useless after Fee promotes, and Noishe gives Critical as well, but with Charge instead. Rating: 7.5/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire Their love growth is meaningless. There is a conversation in Chapter 4 that instantly pairs the two together regardless of their love points, so this is by far the easiest pairing to get in the game. It requires absolutely no work to be done. Rating: 10/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this is a great pairing. There is a lot of debate as to whether Levin is better with Tiltyu or Fury, but I’m not getting into that debate since this is only about Fury, and Tiltyu’s section will only be about Tiltyu. This is probably the best Sety can get, and Fee is very good as well. The skills given aren’t the most valuable only because of their classes. It is the easiest pairing to obtain in the game, so there are no complaints there. The only thing to be warned about is that Levin might be better with Tiltyu. Rating: 9/10 [spoiler=Claude]Claude [spoiler=For Sety]For Sety This takes Sety’s healing power to the maximum. Compared to Levin Claude gives more Magic, less Skill, much less Speed, much more Luck, and much more Resistance. Sety obviously won’t dodge as much as Levin!Sety, but will not have problems evading attacks. With his high Resistance stat, Sety can tank against mages, but don’t expect much durability from weapons. Sety will have major Blaggi blood meaning he can use the Valkyrie Staff, as well as inherit any and all staffs Claude had. Claude may only be able to use C rank magic, but it can all be passed down, although Sety’s default Lightning will likely be enough. Sety will be able to heal excellently, and fight well, but he’ll never fight as well as he can heal. Rating: 9.5/10 [spoiler=For Fee]For Fee This is probably the best Fee you can get if you want her to specialize in healing. Fee will have the same differences as Levin, but will now be able to deal reasonable damage with a magic sword. However thanks to Blaggi blood she can use up to B rank staffs, meaning much more healing utility. Of note is that she can now use Libro, and given her movement range can heal over a long range. This won’t maximize her combat ability, but she can heal well. Rating: 8.5/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills Pursuit is always going to be there because of Fury, and same goes for Continue. However Claude gives nothing so nothing good here. Rating: 0/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire They have no conversations to speed things up, but they have a massive base, and the highest growth for Fury. However Fury is going to be moving much further than Claude, so Fury will be significantly hindered by this. It’s redeemed somewhat by the base and growth, but Fury is going to be held back. Rating: 3/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this is only slightly worse than Levin. Fee will be a much better healer, while Sety won’t fight as well. The lack of skills hurts as does the difficulty to obtain. Sety being an excellent healer does help, so the children will both be able to heal well. That alone redeems the pairing a lot. Rating: 8/10 [spoiler=Fury Summary]Fury Summary 1. Levin 2. Claude 3. Noishe 4. Lex 5. Alec
  9. [spoiler=Sylvia]Sylvia Son: Corple Daughter: Leen The pairings being graded are: Lex, Dew, Levin, Claude, Nobody Because she will potentially go unpaired, she will have a different set of children. These only appear if Sylvia is unpaired Substitutes: Son: Sharlow Daughter: Laylea This is going to be somewhat hard to grade. Corple is near useless given his late join time at a severely under leveled unit with 5 move. Leen will always be valuable for Dancing, at her stats aren’t significant. Therefore I will go based off stats as usual, but remember the difference is minor. Any fighting ability for Leen is likely only going to be used for self-defense, but I’ll still take note of it. Also, some people give Sylvia the Leg Ring, but I will not take this into account in difficulty to acquire. [spoiler=Lex]Lex [spoiler=For Corple]For Corple Corple will have the highest possible HP and Defense; second highest Strength, bad Magic, Skill, Speed, and Luck. Corple is a Priest, so he needs the Magic, while the Strength is meaningless. Lex can’t pass down any staffs so Corple will only have a Libro staff, which isn’t bad, but he could have more. Rating: 0/10 [spoiler=For Leen]For Leen Leen will get the second highest HP, and Strength, second lowest Magic, Skill, and Luck, and the lowest possible Speed. She’ll have the highest possible Defense though. Leen won’t do much fighting, but if she does she can hit somewhat hard. Optimally for Leen (given her C rank in swords) she should have higher Magic so she can hit hard with magic swords. She’ll probably be dancing more often though, so the boosted durability is nice. With Leen though, dodging is better so she can take full advantage of Prayer, and double with a good Magic stat. Rating: 6/10 (Nice durability) [spoiler=Skills]Skills Ambush is nearly useless for the kids. Leen won’t need to fight much, and striking first won’t do much. Elite is extremely helpful though. Leen will level up much quicker, increasing her durability. Corple will need experience as soon as he possible to promote. Normally lack of Pursuit is a problem, but here it is not because fighting isn’t that necessary. Rating: 9/10 (Pursuit not being there is a negative, but not nearly to the extent that it hurts anyone else) [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire Lex will be charging right into battle, while Sylvia will be hanging back. Even more so is that Lex will move, Sylvia will dance, and then Lex will move away. Lex’s fighting ability will be compromised so he will be badly hindered. They have a high growth, but low base for love, so it will take a while. There are no conversations to speed things up so this will take time. Rating: 0/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall This is awful for Corple’s stats, but Elite massively helps him. As for Leen, she probably could use better Magic and Speed, instead of Strength and Defense. Elite helps both of them, but it is impossibly difficult to get. Rating: 3/10 [spoiler=Dew]Dew [spoiler=For Corple]For Corple Second highest Skill, third highest Speed, but lowest HP. Defense is actually quite good, second only to Lex and tied with many, but of note is that Dew gives the highest Magic growth other than mages. Corple will have the second highest possible Luck, tied with many others. His resistance will be second highest meaning that Corple may be somewhat durable since he can dodge somewhat well and reduce damage somewhat from Magic, although his Defense will not be too high, and his HP will be bad. This is better than many physical parents, but the fact remains: why does Corple need a physical father? He’s a mage. Once again, no inheritance, which hurts. Rating: 7/10 (As good as it’ll get without a mage for a father) [spoiler=For Leen]For Leen This will give Leen the lowest possible HP of all children characters. That should give an idea just how bad her HP is. Her Strength and Magic are balanced, meaning she can do some damage either at range or not with a magic sword. Her Defense and Resistance will be second best, as will her Luck. Speed and Skill are both moderate, beating many, but at the same time being beaten by others. This actually makes her well balanced. This is amongst the better possibilities for Leen, because of her ability to dodge, deal some damage, magical or not, and be somewhat defended. Unfortunately, the low HP really hurts her. Rating: 9/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills Dew will pass down Bargain, which is helpful for both. Corple can more easily afford to repair the more expensive staffs, while Leen can buy rings more cheaply. I mention rings here, because if the player chooses to give her the Leg and/or Knight Ring, and with Bargain, it will be much cheaper. Dew won’t give Pursuit, but it isn’t as bad because more likely than not, any fighting the two do is only in self-defense. Dew also gives Solar Sword, but due to the nature of it, only Leen will inherit it. It actually benefits her nicely, because she will not have high HP, but any damage she takes could potentially be recovered thanks to the skill. Rating: 9.5/10 (-.5 because of no Pursuit and Corple not inheriting Solar Sword) [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire Both parents have the same move, but Dew will be doing much more fighting. Even more so is that typically Sylvia will Dance, and Dew will either move away or won’t be next to her in the first place. It requires some sacrifice of Dew’s fighting skill, but he isn’t going to be a main killer anyways, so it isn’t too bad. As for growth, there are no conversations and an average growth so it will take time. Rating: .5/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this is a mixed bag. It provides an excellent skillset and stats for Leen (aside from HP, but Corple still won’t be magically suited, and he won’t inherit anything. It hinders Dew, and is bad for Corple, but looking past that, at least for Leen, it’s a great pairing. Rating: 7.5/10 [spoiler=Levin]Levin [spoiler=For Corple]For Corple Levin will pass down up to B rank staffs so there is some inheritance. Here is the huge benefit: Levin will pass down Holsety and Major Holsety blood, but Corple must wait until after promotion to use it. As for growths, Levin will be tied with Claude for the second highest Magic growth, and tied with many for second best Skill. He will have the best possible Speed, but with low Luck. Thanks to the Speed and Holsety tome, although he can’t take a hit, he will be quite durable from dodging ability. The only A rank staffs that could be inherited are Reserve and Rescue, which would be nice, but given everything else that’s up for offer, it’s meaningless. Rating: 9/10 (-1 for not using Holsety until promotion) [spoiler=For Leen]For Leen Leen won’t have much Strength, but with her high Speed and Magic, she can defend herself somewhat well with a magic sword. Her Luck will be somewhat low, but not too bad. There isn’t much to comment on here, but this is one of the better pairings for Leen. Rating: 8.5/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills Levin will pass down Continue and Critical. Both will be near useless to Leen, but once Corple promotes and becomes a new Levin both skills will greatly benefit him. With this pairing, Corple will be a fighter, so here he really could use Pursuit. Rating: 7/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire The pair has a high base, but other pairings have a faster growth. There is a secret conversation that boosts them by 50 points, which means that this will be somewhat easier. Before getting Holsety, Levin will not be right on the frontline, meaning that keeping him with Sylvia won’t be too hard. After Holsety, keeping the two together will be harder because Levin can single handedly take down armies at a time, while Sylvia is frail. Hopefully the two will be together enough to be paired by the time he obtains Holsety. Rating: 8/10 (Levin will still be hindered prior to Holsety, but not too badly) [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this is probably one of Sylvia’s best pairings. Unfortunately this is far from Levin’s best pairing. I’m ranking this for Sylvia, not Levin, but remember that in doing this, Levin cannot be with Fury or Tiltyu. Rating: 9/10 [spoiler=Claude]Claude [spoiler=For Corple]For Corple Claude will pass down any staffs he can use, which is very nice. Corple will have the second highest possible Magic, and Luck, but low Skill and Speed. His Defense will be tied with Levin and Azel for worst. Corple will inherit the Valkyrie Staff, and major Blaggi blood, meaning he can use it. Also thanks to the Blaggi blood, Corple will have massive Resistance, meaning that he can be a magical tank, although his HP will never be great. Unlike with Levin, here Corple will be a healer, promotion or not, first, and a fighter as backup. Rating: 9.5/10 (Lack of competent fighting ability is a drawback) [spoiler=For Leen]For Leen Leen will have major Blaggi blood, meaning she’ll have excellent Resistance and Luck. Her Magic will be second highest so she can defend herself with a magic sword. Her Defense, Skill, and Speed will be low, but with her Luck she can dodge decently, which means she can defend herself from magic, but for weapons, she’ll be vulnerable. Rating: 7/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills Claude gives nothing. Not too big of a deal given the kids’ roles, but again, nothing is nothing. Rating: 0/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire The pair starts with a lower base than Levin, and an even lower growth. However there is a conversation that speeds it up by 100 points so that helps. Claude is likely going to be healing from afar with Reserve, so keeping him next to Sylvia shouldn’t impair him at all. Rating: 10/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this is slightly better than Levin. Leen will be worse than with Levin, and Corple will be roughly equal, but instead of being a fighter, he will be a healer. Given that Corple must promote to fight, he will be able to heal at all times, and can inherit more. Having Reserve immediately helps because of the massive experience points he’ll gain for using it, meaning he can promote faster. Rating: 9.5/10 [spoiler=Nobody]Nobody [spoiler=For Sharlow]For Sharlow Sharlow will have low HP, Skill, Speed, Luck, Defense, and Resistance. The only decent stat is Magic, which means he can be a decent healer. He will not have any holy blood, which means until promotion he can’t use A rank staffs. The big benefit here is that only Sharlow can get the Berserk Staff. It only has one use, and costs as much as the Valkyrie Staff to repair, so make the use count. He can always sell it and give it to someone who can better use it. Held back because nothing is inherited. Rating: 2/10 (Would be a 0 but 2 points for the Berserk Staff, although it’s not that great) [spoiler=For Laylea]For Laylea Laylea will have low HP, Magic, Skill, Speed, Luck, Defense, and Resistance. Her Strength is the only decent stat. Like with Sharlow, Laylea can get the Barrier Sword, something that Leen can’t. The sword isn’t that great, so I can’t rate this up too much. However, Dancers typically won’t be in battle too much, so the Barrier Sword is nice, but it would be nice if the Dancer could defend herself. Held back because nothing is inherited. Rating: 2/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills Sharlow gets Elite, which speeds up leveling him. Laylea gets Charisma which dramatically increases her utility. They won’t have Prayer, but by avoiding combat, the skills can take full effect. The children shouldn’t fight under any circumstances so the skills help. Rating: 8.5/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire This is only hard because it may mean killing her off in order to prevent Sylvia from falling in love. She can be killed off after she has done her job in Chapter 5, so it is easy. Just be careful not to let her fall in love with someone who you have other plans for. Rating: 8/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall, this makes the kids pure utility. Both kids will have a skill that helps them out, while they will each get an item that only they can get. It compromises any combat ability whatsoever so take not of that. Rating: 8/10 (Big boost for Charisma) [spoiler=Sylvia Summary]Sylvia Summary 1. Claude 2. Levin 3. Dew 4. Nobody 5. Lex
  10. [spoiler=Lachesis]Lachesis Son: Delmud Daughter: Nanna The pairings being ranked are: Lex, Azel, Fin, Beowulf, Claude [spoiler=Lex]Lex [spoiler=For Delmud]For Delmud His HP is tied with many for the best, his Strength is tied with many for second best, Skill is the second worst, Speed is the worst, and Luck is the worst. His Defense however is the highest. Skill isn’t a huge problem because he gets 9 more on promotion, but getting there is a problem. He’ll be durable with a high HP and Defense growth, but will not dodge well, and until promotion will have trouble hitting. Lex can’t pass down anything, so until Delmud can buy something, he’ll be stuck with an Iron Sword, severely hurting his combat ability. Rating: 2/10 [spoiler=For Nanna]For Nanna Same weaknesses and strengths as Delmud, except there is a pairing that gives more HP. Her Magic will be very bad (although that is common to Nanna) meaning she’ll barely be able to heal. She can take a couple of hits, but she’s probably better off trying to dodge with other pairings. Rating: 2/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills Lachesis passes down Charisma which makes the kids by default nice to have around. I can’t rank that though because every Delmud and Nanna will have it. Lex will pass down Elite and Ambush. Elite will certainly help Delmud reach promotion so he can up his Skill, while Nanna can level faster. Ambush is a nice bonus, and they will reach low HP, so it helps. Unfortunately there’s no Pursuit involved, and although Delmud gets Continue on promotion, he won’t be able to kill reliably. Rating: 6/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire Lachesis starts off with a measly 6 move, while Lex is off charging into battle. They have an average (for Lachesis) growth meaning it will take a while before they’re lovers. Lex will be severely hindered, and by the time Lachesis promotes to 9 move, it won’t matter because they’ll likely be paired already. There are also no conversations to speed things along. Rating: 1/10 (I’m giving a 1 instead of a 0 because Fin is even harder) [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall a rather lousy pairing. It gives the kids good Defense and HP, but it sacrifices so much more. Without Pursuit not much damage will be done, and it is not easy to get the two together. Rating: 3/10 (Defense is nice as is Elite, but there isn’t much else to say) [spoiler=Azel]Azel [spoiler=For Delmud]For Delmud This is similar to what happens with Aideen, although much better. Delmud will still have a decent Strength growth (although comparatively low) thanks to Hezul blood, and with the Magic boost, he can deal competent damage with a magic sword. His Skill will be as bad as with Lex, but Speed will be so much better to the point that it’s second only to Levin. Luck is higher, although still low, and Defense will be the worst possible. With Aideen pairing her with Azel traded Lester for Lana, but here Delmud doesn’t suffer nearly as much as Lester did, thanks to magic swords. This means that Delmud can deal competent two range damage with a sword, something not many others can do. On top of that, once Azel promotes, he can use up to B rank swords, allowing some inheritance. Unfortunately this means blades can’t be inherited, but magic swords can. While this seems great, unfortunately, he only has a maximum Magic stat of 15, severely limiting the damage he can do with magic swords. Rating: 6.5/10 [spoiler=For Nanna]For Nanna This is great for Nanna. Her HP will be low, but not as low as many others, her Strength will still be decent, but her Magic is what is truly great. She’ll have the highest possible Magic growth meaning she can reliably heal on a horse. Her Skill will be average, her Speed will be second best, while her Luck (comparatively) and Defense will be bad. She can dodge reliably, and heal from horseback, which alone is great. This makes her excellent because she can fight with a magic sword, and heal, which is a huge benefit. Rating: 10/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills Azel gives Pursuit which is the most important skill in the game. With their balanced Strength and Magic growth, the kids can reliably kill with Pursuit. The only complaint is that other pairings give pursuit and more. Rating: 8/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire An average love growth with no conversations. The good news is that both parents have the same move, and once they both promote they will have the same move again. Given that Azel will be attacking from afar, while Lachesis is either attacking up close or healing, keeping the two together won’t be a problem. Azel will probably promote slightly sooner than Lachesis, but he can attack than move back to her side. Once they both promote keeping the two together won’t be a problem, although by that point they are likely together. Rating: 9/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this is great. It greatly helps Nanna without hurting Delmud. Thanks to magic sword access neither child will have any problems fighting, and with Pursuit, killing. This isn’t a hard pairing to acquire either so there’s not much to complain about. Rating: 9/10   [spoiler=Fin]Fin [spoiler=For Delmud]For Delmud Compared to Lex this gives slightly less HP and Strength, much less Defense, and significantly better Speed, Skill, and Luck. The Skill difference is nice because it will make getting Delmud to promotion easier because he won’t have problems hitting. But once again, thanks to Hezul blood, Delmud’s Strength will never be bad. Delmud will dodge more often, but upon being hit will take more damage meaning durability is roughly the same. I would say this is superior to Lex because he won’t have hit problems before or after promotion, and he can dodge more easily. He may be hit harder, but it’s not like he can’t take a hit, and it will be rather infrequent. But this gives very well rounded stats meaning Delmud will not falter. Unfortunately lack of inheritance hurts a lot since all Delmud will have for a while is an Iron Sword, meaning he can’t fight well for a while. Rating: 7/10 (Good, but still brought down by lack of inheritance) [spoiler=For Nanna]For Nanna Nanna will have the lowest Strength possible from a non-mage father, her HP will be third lowest, and her Defense will be second worst. But there are some positives. Her Magic will be tied with many for the highest without a mage for a father; she’ll have the best possible Luck, average Speed, and high Skill. The magic difference is a small amount, but it does help her heal. Like Delmud she’ll be much dodgier, but at the same time it will hurt much more should a hit connect. This makes Nanna well rounded which is nice, but other pairings make her a better healer, which is likely going to become her purpose. A huge bonus is a conversation that Fin can have with Fin!Nanna that boosts her Speed by 5, although she won’t have bad Speed, but it certainly helps her dodging ability. This is still inferior to Azel however, because she can’t heal nearly as well as Azel!Nanna. Rating: 8/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills Here’s where the pairing really shines though. Pursuit is given by Fin meaning that killing won’t be a problem. Add in Prayer and it gets even better. With Prayer should the kids get hit, there will be an opportunity to heal them. Rating: 10/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire Standard growth for Lachesis, and no conversations to speed things along. Fin should be charging into battle, but Lachesis will be further behind both because she is inferior for fighting and her lower move meaning Fin will be held back. The other problem is that Lachesis joins in Chapter 2 and Fin will be gone by the end of Chapter 3 meaning there really isn’t any time for them to apart. This is not easy at all. Rating: 0/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this is better than Lex. Delmud and Nanna will be better statistically with much better skills. It is hard to get the two together though, so it will take effort. This gives a well-rounded Delmud, with few weaknesses, but simultaneously, few strengths. Rating: 7/10 (Brought down by the steep difficulty in acquisition) [spoiler=Beowulf]Beowulf [spoiler=For Delmud]For Delmud Compared to Fin, Delmud gets 10 more HP and Strength growth in exchange for 30 less Luck. It’s a tough call to make which is better, but I would say Fin since Fin!Delmud will not have bad Strength or HP, but the Luck difference is noticeable. However, any sword Beowulf can use Delmud can meaning full inheritance. That is what puts it over Fin. Rating: 9/10 [spoiler=For Nanna]For Nanna There’s no conversation which boosts her Speed, so take not of that. Compared to Fin, the HP and Strength gap is even smaller than will Delmud, but the Luck growth is smaller, although still large. Take into account that Nanna loses Magic (although a small amount), and the conversation to boost her Speed, she will be less dodgy, and an inferior healer. This is much worse than Fin. Rating: 3/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills Like Fin, Beowulf gives Pursuit, but instead of Prayer he gives Charge. Charge is nice because it means that with the increased Strength, the kids can kill more easily. Prayer is better for Nanna than Charge, but Charge is more effective for Delmud so it evens out. Rating: 10/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire They have a standard love growth, but there is a conversation that gets them 100 points closer (it even boosts Lachesis’s stats). Beowulf should probably be charging ahead so he will be hindered, but unlike Fin, they have the rest of the generation and a conversation on their side. Once Lachesis promotes she can keep up with him, but that will take a while. Rating: 6/10 (Everything over than Beowulf being hindered until Lachesis promotes is on their side) [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this is better than Fin. Fin may provide better stats, but the skills are evenly useful, the pairing is significantly easier to acquire, and Delmud gets full inheritance. Rating: 9/10 [spoiler=Claude]Claude [spoiler=For Delmud]For Delmud This gives similar growths to Azel, only with lower Speed, and much higher Luck. Avoid will be about even, but Delmud would be better off with a higher Speed stat. Once Delmud promotes he can fix his somewhat low Skill problems. Delmud will inherit major Blaggi blood and the Valkyrie Staff, but will have no use for it. The Blaggi blood does give him high Resistance, but Azel gives better stats. The other reason is that Claude will not pass anything down of value. Eventually Delmud will be able to fight somewhat well with either a standard or magic sword, but Azel allows him to do so much better, with inheritance. Rating: 4/10 [spoiler=For Nanna]For Nanna I would say this is even better than Fin with the conversation, although about even with Azel. Her Magic growth will be less, as will her Speed, but her Luck will be higher, and so will her Resistance. She can dodge somewhat well with her Luck, but Speed would be better. The biggest attraction is that the Blaggi blood enables her to use B rank staffs meaning she can use Libro, Recover, or Rest. Libro is the most notable because with her high move, and the long range of Libro, she can heal over a large radius. Once Lachesis promotes, she can use up to A rank staffs, meaning the aforementioned staffs can be inherited. I’ll give this as good a rank as Azel, although for different reasoning. Rating: 10/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills Claude gives nothing. Absolutely nothing. Once again, Azel not only gives Delmud superior stats, but Delmud can double and kill more easily with Pursuit. Rating: 0/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire This is somewhat inverse to other Lachesis’s other pairings. Lachesis will likely be promoted by Claude’s arrival, meaning that she will be held back, not Claude. There are no conversations to speed up their growth, but for whatever the reason, Claude has an additional point gain per turn compared to every other pairing for Lachesis, making this slightly faster. Rating: 5/10 (Lachesis will be held back) [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this is inferior to Azel, Fin, and Beowulf, although superior to Lex. It provides an absolutely great Nanna (for healing) but severely compromises their fighting ability. Lex is only worse because he doesn’t help Nanna out nearly as much. Rating: 5/10 [spoiler=Lachesis Summary]Lachesis Summary 1. Beowulf 2. Azel 3. Fin 4. Claude 5. Lex
  11. [spoiler=Aira]Aira Daughter: Lakche Son: Skasaha Note: Her kids are not easy to mess up. Lakche will always be great; it’s Skasaha that you need to worry about. Pursuit is usually a big factor in picking a father, but both her kids get it as a class skill, so you don’t need to worry about that. The pairings ranked are: Noishe, Lex, Dew, Jamka, Holyn [spoiler='Noishe]Noishe [spoiler=For Skasaha]For Skasaha Without Holy Blood Noishe’s growths are about average. He specializes in Strength and Defense while being weaker in Speed and Skill. As a Swordfighter Skasaha will need those two stats. However his Skill will never be bad thanks to his Odo blood. His Speed growth will be hurt by this, but it will never be bad. Noishe is able to use swords up to level B while Skasaha can use up to A meaning Blades can’t be inherited. This pairing covers up Aira’s weak spots (Strength and Defense) but his Speed will suffer. Rating: 8.5/10 [spoiler=For Lakche]For Lakche As previously stated messing up Lakche is not easy. She’ll have great Strength, Skill, Speed and Defense. Inheritance is a non-issue for her so really this pairing does her no harm. Of note this pairing gives her the second best Strength, and the best Defense barring Neir blood. Rating: 9.5/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills The biggest attraction of this pairing is the Critical Skill. With Odo blood the kids will have great Skill and with Critical they don’t have to wait a long time for their weapons to hit 50 kills. Both will also inherit Charge which at least with Lakche will activate often. As previously mentioned Pursuit is irrelevant for Aira’s kids, so his lack of it makes no difference. Rating: 10/10 (Pursuit + Critical is great on its own, but add in Charge, and you have an excellent combo) [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire You have most of Chapter 1 and then the rest of the first generation, so time isn’t a problem. All of Aira’s pairings have a slow growth, but there are no conversations to speed the process up with Noishe. Noishe will be hindered because of Aira’s lower movement, but then again Noishe isn’t the best fighter, so it doesn’t matter too much. Rating: 7.5/10 (There is a good amount of time to build this, but Noishe is hindered and there are no conversations to speed things up) [spoiler=Overall]Overall An excellent pairing skill wise. This is somewhat sacrificing Skasaha’s Speed, but the skill combo is so powerful that it is less noticeable. Rating: 8.5/10 [spoiler=Lex]Lex [spoiler=For Skasaha]For Skasaha There actually isn’t a single growth that is lower than Noishe!Skasaha. Skasaha’s Speed is still low, but with much higher Defense thanks to Neir blood. This allows him to take quite a few hits, especially with his somewhat higher HP growth. So far this seems better in almost every way to Noishe, but here’s the negative: no inheritance. The only way Lex can pass down a sword is if he wins the Silver Blade in combat, which isn’t a bad option. Otherwise Skasaha will have an Iron Blade for Chapter 6, which isn’t bad, but it would be nice if he could inherit a used weapon (and therefore have kills on it). Rating: 8.5/10 (Better than Noishe, but then pulled down because of inheritance) [spoiler=For Lakche]For Lakche In every aspect except Skill she is superior to Noishe!Lakche. Her Skill however is so a high that a minor loss of 5% is insignificant. Although it doesn’t require them to be lovers, a love conversation gives Aira the Hero Sword, which will be inherited to Lakche, making her even more powerful. Rating: 10/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills Lex offers two skills: Elite and Ambush. Elite means that the kids can promote sooner, meaning they can get even more powerful. Ambush means that if they are low on HP they will likely kill whatever is about to kill them first. Again, they have Pursuit by default. I’ll rate this slightly lower than Noishe only because their Skill won’t be put to as good of use, and that once they hit level 30, Elite is useless. Rating: 9.5/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire This is middle-of-the-road in terms of difficulty. Lex’s love growth is the same as Noishe’s but unlike Noishe there is a conversation that gets them 100 points closer. Also Lex is a much better fighter, meaning he will be hurt much more by having to stay back with Aira. Rating: 7/10 (Lex is hindered by this) [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this is the same as Noishe, just for different reasons. Lex gives better growths, and arguably the same level of skills, while Noishe gives inheritance and skills that could potentially be better. Noishe takes longer to pair off, while Lex is quicker but is going to be held back a lot more than Noishe would be. I won’t rate this the same, because I’m trying to avoid ties, so I’ll give it a slightly lower rating, because honestly the skills Noishe offers look superior. Rating: 8/10 [spoiler=Dew]Dew [spoiler=For Skasaha]For Skasaha This creates a great Skasaha. Skasaha will have the second highest Strength, Skill, Speed (not counting Holsety blood), and Defense. Unfortunately this provides the only HP growth lower than 100 % meaning that HP will be comparatively lower. HP is really the only stat that suffers from this pairing. It barely matters but this is the highest Skasaha’s Magic can get without a mage for a father meaning that he can somewhat use magic swords. Inheritance is not a problem because after promotion Dew can use any sword, and can pass them down to Skasaha. This is actually superior to Lex because the Defense difference is minor compared to the vastly superior Speed and Skill, and tied Strength. Rating: 9.5/10 (-.5 for less than 100% HP growth) [spoiler=For Lakche]For Lakche In Lakche’s case differences that apply between Lex!Skasaha and Dew!Skasaha also apply between Lex!Lakche and Dew!Lakche. The only difference is that the Defense difference is much larger meaning that her durability will be significantly less. Rating: 9.5/10 (She’ll be much more dodgy which makes up for the loss of Defense, but still there is less than 100% for HP growth) [spoiler=Skills]Skills Swords are not too expensive to repair so the Bargain doesn’t matter too much. On the other hand Aira’s children can make full use out of Dew’s Solar Sword skill. Being able to heal HP equal to damage dealt is very nice, and activates often with their high Skill growth. You could look at the fact that Solar and Star Sword can’t activate simultaneously as a negative, but really either one will be helpful. Rating: 10/10 (Definitely can utilize Solar Sword better than any other children) [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire They have no base love points, an average growth, and no conversations to speed it up. Before Dew promotes their movement range is identical meaning keeping the two together won’t be hard, although Dew isn’t the frontline fighter that Aira is. After promoting Dew can hold his own in battle, but he’ll have on more movement range than Aira slightly holding him back. At some point both of them are going to be inhibited, but it won’t be too hard. Rating: 4/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this is better than Lex and therefore Noishe. It allows full inheritance for Skasaha an arguably equal level of skills, and a Skasaha and Lakche that is superior to Lex’s kids. Elite is nice, but it is only useful until level 30, while Solar Sword will always be useful. Rating: 9/10 [spoiler=Jamka]Jamka [spoiler=For Skasaha]For Skasaha This pairing gives the second highest possible HP, highest Strength, lowest Skill (although thanks to Odo blood it is still high), tied with many for second highest Speed (third counting Levin), and tied with many as either the third best Defense or the second worst (depending on perspective). That sums up the statistics quite nicely. As far as stats go, this gives a very nice statistical spread that is in many ways superior to Noishe and Lex while inferior to Dew. Rating: 9/10 [spoiler=For Lakche]For Lakche For Lakche this provides the highest Strength growth, lowest Skill (but again still high), third highest Speed, second highest Luck, and third highest Defense. This significantly increases the damage she can deal, and thanks to the high Luck, dodge. Like with Skasaha it is superior to Noishe and Lex but inferior to Dew. Rating: 9/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills This creates a fun set of skills. The kids will have Pursuit, Charge, and Continue, all of the multi-hitting skills in the game. This could potentially lead to almost always killing in one battle, and these skills will activate often with their high Speed. Lakche may get Continue after promoting, but Skasaha will not and this will greatly help his usefulness in battle. Rating: 10/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire This is not too bad. There are no conversations to speed it up, but they have the same movement range and Jamka can stay behind Aira to blast enemies from afar, while she attacks up close. Neither are going to be hindered by this, before or after promoting. Rating: 8/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this pairing is similar to Dew. The skillset is likely better, but Dew gives slightly higher growths. I’ll give this pairing a lower grade though since stats are more important. Rating: 8.5/10 [spoiler=Holyn]Holyn [spoiler=For Skasaha]For Skasaha This turns Skasaha into a better Holyn. They have the same class so they perform quite similarly. This is the highest HP growth that Skasaha can get, and his Strength isn’t bad at all. Thanks to major Odo blood his Skill growth will be the highest at over 100%. He has the second worst Speed (although many other versions of Skasaha tie with Holyn!Skasaha, while few beat him), not so great Luck and average Defense. He’ll be a great powerhouse, and if he gets 50 kills on a weapon, he’ll be critical hitting a lot because of his massive Skill. He’ll be taking hits somewhat often with his low Luck and moderate Speed, and although his HP is high, he doesn’t have too much Defense. Unfortunately this pairing’s specialty (HP and Skill) is never bad on other pairings so it is in some ways redundant. Inheritance isn’t a problem as any sword Holyn can use, Skasaha can use, which redeems this pairing. Rating: 7/10 (Bonus for inheritance) [spoiler=For Lakche]For Lakche Unlike with Skasaha only two pairings give better Defense, so her durability doesn’t suffer as much and the HP gap is much larger. She’ll be quite durable, and she can dodge often, although her Luck still isn’t great. Her Strength is comparatively lower, so she won’t be as powerful, although she can still deal some good damage. Like with Lex this gives Aira the Hero Sword, which is nice, but since they don’t need to be lovers, will not be taken into account. Rating: 7.5/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills The only skill Holyn passes down is Lunar Sword, which pierces Defense. Unfortunately, it activates just as often as Star Sword and either one is pretty much a guaranteed instant kill. On top of that they can’t activate at the same time, meaning it’s somewhat useless. The only time that a Lunar Sword is better is on high Defense enemies, but taking them down should be up to mages, not Swordfighters. It’s nice, but there are better options. Rating: 7.5/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire There is a conversation that grants Aira and Holyn 100 points, which already helps. They have the usual (for Aira) love growth, but there job in battle is exactly the same, meaning keeping the two together should never be a problem. This is easy to accomplish. Rating: 10/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall This is kind of pointless. The stats that Skasaha will excel in don’t suffer with other pairings, while Lakche’s power will suffer. The skillset offered is nice, but again there are better options. However, inheritance for Skasaha is great, as is the easiness to pair the two together. Rating: 7.5/10 [spoiler=Aira Summary]Aira Summary Note: This is for overall potential for both kids Her best pairings are: 1. Dew 2. Noishe 3. Jamka 4. Lex 5. Holyn
  12. [spoiler=Aideen]Aideen Son: Lester Daughter: Lana These are the males that will be graded: Azel, Fin, Midir, Jamka, Claude [spoiler=Azel]Azel [spoiler=For Lester]For Lester This pairing kills Lester. He’ll have excellent Speed and Luck, but none of that matters when having a 55 % Magic growth and a low Strength growth. Put lack of inheritance on top of that and this is without a doubt amongst the worst pairings for Lester. I only say amongst because there is actually one pairing out there that is worse for him (Claude which will be covered later). Rating: 0/10 (The only good part of this is Pursuit, which is covered in the skills section and will not be counted here) [spoiler=For Lana]For Lana While this pairing kills Lester it does nothing but benefit Lana. This pairing gives her the highest possible Magic meaning she can heal a lot of damage, and once she promotes deal it. Her Speed is also second only to Levin, and like most pairings she has great Luck so she’ll dodge often. Her biggest downfall is that the only El-level magic she can use is Elfire which is far too heavy massively impeding her dodging ability. But she can always go with Thunder or Wind magic, it just won’t be as powerful (However the only other El-magic she could use would be Elwind with Levin, and Levin/Aideen is not a good idea). I can’t hold this against her, but it’s just a shame. This also won’t be held against her, but with every pairing other than Claude, Aideen cannot pass down her A rank staffs, so be forewarned. Rating: 9.5/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills As Aideen has no skills, everything comes from Azel which is “just” Pursuit. For Lester this doesn’t mean much since he can’t fight to begin with, but when Lana promotes she can fight well with her high Speed and Pursuit. Rating: 8/10 (Pursuit is great, but there are other pairings out there that give pursuit and more skills) [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire This is relatively easy. They have a slow growth, but there is a conversation that gets them 100/500 points closer. Until Azel promotes they have identical movement so keeping them together shouldn’t be hard at all. Once Azel promotes he can charge ahead of her, but given his low move, they will likely be lovers by then. Rating: 9.5/10 (The only difficulty is that once Azel promotes this could hold him back) [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this pairing trades Lester for Lana. Using Lester with this pairing will be near impossible, but Lana will be great. This pairing gives Aideen the Rescue Staff, but unfortunately it cannot be passed down to Lana. Rating: 6.5/10 (Perfect for Lana, horrible for Lester, and with Pursuit and an easy acquisition) [spoiler=Fin]Fin [spoiler=For Lester]For Lester His stats will be about average compared to other pairings that give him a specialization, but at the same time no stat really suffers. Not counting Resistance his worst stat is Strength, and the only reason I say it is bad is because other pairings give more. In reality his Strength isn’t bad in the least so dealing damage isn’t a problem. His Luck will be great allowing a good dodging rate, so that’s a nice bonus. Unfortunately Lester will not inherit any weapons and will be stuck with an Iron Bow at first, limiting his damage output. Rating: 9/10 [spoiler=For Lana]For Lana For Lana this is similar to other non-mage pairings. She’ll be just another Aideen, but with this pairing she’ll have excellent Luck meaning she can dodge well. After promoting she can fight, not well given her low Magic stat, but she can always heal and warp etc. Her Defense is actually high compared to some other pairings meaning she can take a few hits, but not much more. A huge benefit is that in Chapter 7, if Fin is Lana’s father they can speak and Lana will get a nice +5 bonus to Magic significantly helping her. Rating: 9.5/10 (Would be lower, but the conversation is a huge benefit) [spoiler=Skills]Skills Fin will pass down Pursuit and Prayer which are excellent. Pursuit mostly benefits Lester, while Prayer means that Lana will have the chance to be extremely durable if knocked down to a low enough HP. Prayer also helps Lester, as does Pursuit help Lana after promotion so there’s nothing to complain about here. Rating: 10/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire As with all pairings with Fin this is not easy. The pairing grows extremely slowly and you only have until Chapter 3 ends to get it. Fin should be leading the charge with his Hero Lance, but will have to hit and run back to be by Aideen in order to get this in time. It will not be easy in the least to acquire this and it requires holding Fin back from his potential. Rating: 0/10 [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall there are some polar opposites here. Statistically this is a great pairing for Lester, the conversation makes it great for Lana, the skills are great, but it is extremely difficult to acquire and will hold Fin back as well as Lester not inheriting anything. However, if you get past the shortcomings, this will be a great pairing; it just requires time in both generations to be fully realized. Rating: 8/10 [spoiler=Midir]Midir [spoiler=For Lester]For Lester This turns Lester into a slightly better version of Midir (Aideen’s growths). He’ll be well balanced with the second best Speed stat (barring Levin as the father) and an average Strength growth. His Skill growth will be the second lowest, but it’s not bad at all. A great benefit is that this pairing grants Lester the Hero Bow, allowing for up to four strikes per battle, and even more when Charge activates. Inheritance is not a problem since any weapon Midir can use Lester can as well. Rating: 8.5/10 (Average, but not much that he actually specializes in, although inheritance is great) [spoiler=For Lana]For Lana Like Midir this makes Lana an updated version of Aideen. Her growths are all around poor except for Luck, but even so other all other pairings give better Luck. Lana’s job is to heal, and her Magic stat isn’t bad, in fact it’s the highest it could be with a non-mage father. She can heal and use her Warp staff well, but she’ll never be too durable. Her Defense is tied with many other fathers’ for second worst, and her HP growth is the second worst. Her Luck will allow some ability to dodge, but I wouldn’t rely on it. Anyways, she does her job, and she can do it competently, and after promotion she can fight somewhat well with Pursuit. Rating: 7.5/10 (She can do her job, but she is not given much Magic or much durability) [spoiler=Skills]Skills Skill wise this is great because of Pursuit, and Charge which will activate often as this gives Lester the second best Speed. Charge may cause Lana some problems though because she can’t fight, but battles will resume. The biggest attraction is Pursuit though, and Charge does so much for Lester it’s hard to see it as a negative. Rating: 9.5/10 (Would be perfect if not for Charge hurting Lana, but she shouldn’t be attack anyways) [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire This is actually really easy. They have a massive starting point for growth, and there is a conversation that gets them a fifth of the way closer. Their differing movement range may cause problems, but as a horseback archer Midir can attack and retreat to next to Aideen. Rating: 9.5/10 (Differing movement is the only problem) [spoiler=Overall]Overall Completely average, statistically speaking. The skills however are great as is the Hero bow and inheritance. This would at least put it above others. Rating: 8.5/10 [spoiler=Jamka]Jamka [spoiler=For Lester]For Lester Statistically he will be superior in almost every way to Midir!Lester. The only areas that Midir will beat Jamka at are Magic (insignificant), Skill, and Speed. The gap between their Speed is so minor it will likely go unnoticed. Skill on the other hand might be a problem. Lester will inherit Jamka’s Killer Bow, and with 100% accuracy the Skill won’t matter. Unfortunately he won’t critical too often with it because of the low Skill. Like with Midir this lets Lester inherit any bow Jamka could use, as well as gives Lester the Hero Bow, which as explained later in the skills section is much more import for this Lester. Rating: 9.5/10 (The .5 reduction is only because of the low Skill) [spoiler=For Lana]For Lana In Lana’s case the variation between Jamka and Midir is more noticeable. She will have lower Magic (only a -2% difference), Speed, and Skill, in exchange for higher Strength (insignificant) and Luck. Overall this makes her about even with Midir!Lana. Rating: 7.5/10 [spoiler=Skills]Skills This is where the biggest difference comes into play. Jamka also passes down Charge, but instead of Pursuit he gives Continue. This means that Lester will likely need the Pursuit Ring in order to increase his damage output, and the Hero Bow defeats the purpose of Continue. As for Lana this hardly impacts her but again Charge can cause some disadvantages, and neither Continue or Pursuit are going to be too useful, although Pursuit would still be better. Rating: 5/10 (Charge is nice, as is Continue, but the lack of Pursuit really hurts) [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire This is similar in difficulty to Midir. Jamka starts with a significantly higher base love points, but there are no conversations to speed things up. Unlike Midir though Jamka is not mounted so there isn’t a large movement difference, meaning Jamka will not be heavily hindered. Rating: 9.5 (Same as Midir but for different reasons) [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this is a little worse than Midir. For Lester this is somewhat better but for Lana it is worse. Lack of Pursuit hurts but is very slightly made up for with Continue. Rating: 7/10 [spoiler=Claude]Claude [spoiler=For Lester]For Lester As I said in the Azel section Claude is the worst possible father for Lester. Unlike Azel he does not get high Speed, and his Strength is just as pitiful. Lester will have Major Blaggi, and the Valkyrie Staff, but he cannot use it. The only possible good part of this pairing is his high Luck and Resistance, both of which are negligible compared to his Strength and lack of inheritance. Rating: 0/10 [spoiler=For Lana]For Lana For Lana there’s little more you could ask for. Like with Azel, Aideen gets the Rescue Staff, but because of the Blaggi blood, Lana can use it. Lana can use any staff that Aideen could meaning inheritance will never be a problem. Her Magic will be high, second to Azel!Lana, as will her Luck (tied with Fin!Lana for the best). Her Speed is somewhat lower than Azel!Lana, but her Luck being higher will even out her avoid. After promoting she will have no problem dealing damage, but she will have trouble killing as explained in the Skills section. Rating: 10/10 (Statistically as good as Azel, but full inheritance puts it over the top) [spoiler=Skills]Skills Absolutely no skills. There is nothing to comment on here. Not only is Pursuit missing, but nothing is present. This hurts Lester even worse because at least with Azel, he could double often. Rating: 0/10 [spoiler=Difficulty to acquire]Difficulty to acquire They have a high love point base, and gains a lot per turn. On top of that they have the same class so neither one of them will be hindered. Claude comes late and there are no conversations to speed it up, but there’s no problem with having to healers next to each other, especially since Claude will likely use Reserve while Aideen uses Libro (Reblow, but mistranslated) both of which are long range. Rating: 9.5/10 (Late arrival + no conversations is the worst part) [spoiler=Overall]Overall Overall this is even more of a Lester for Lana trade than Azel. Lana will be perfect for her job, while Lester will be terrible beyond words. It’s easy to acquire, but there are no skills, which doesn’t really hurt Lana but kicks Lester even harder. In short this maximizes Lana’s potential while minimizing Lester’s. Rating: 5.5/10 [spoiler=Aideen Summary]Aideen Summary Note: This is for overall potential for both kids Her best pairings are: 1. Midir 2. Fin (Although Fin has better options) 3. Jamka 4. Azel 5. Claude
  13. Purpose: The purpose of this guide is to rate the value of various parings for the second generation and to find the most effective pairings. Structure: There are seven sections, one for each mother. In each section I will rank the paring with five males. They are chosen by polling the Serenesforest forum’s members Rankings: There are five categories that I will be grading based on: 1. Value for the son (Stats and inheritance only) 2. Value for the daughter (Stats and inheritance only) 3. Skills passed down 4. Difficulty to acquire (How long or how much it holds back one of the characters) 5. Overall value (May or may not be an average) Afterwards I will rank them in order of best to worst (1-5) Rules: The first generation will be completed in a reasonable amount of time. This is not for getting a perfect ranking. What is not allowed is weakening an enemy only to let them heal and repeat the process, letting the enemy leader retreat to his castle and get an infinite amount of reinforcements, or waiting until turn 50 to actually fight and just have all the characters together until turn 50. Arena use is permitted. Note: For example Levin!Fee means Fee but with Levin as the father Ratings are based solely compared to alternate versions of themself. For example it is very possible that Levin!Arthur is the best unit in the second generation, but at the same time Noishe gives a great Lakche. They will both receive great ratings because they are graded solely based on alternate versions of themself not other units. Otherwise many units could be graded down simply because they don’t have a horse. About Fin: If he is not paired he will retain his items in Chapter 7. If he is paired he gets an Iron Lance meaning he will be less effective. Take caution in this. If I say a father cannot pass down weapons, a possible exception is if the father obtains a dropped item that he can’t use, but the son can, it will be inherited. This is a list of the pairings that will be ranked (in order of join time): Aideen - Azel, Fin, Midir, Jamka, Claude Aira - Noishe, Lex, Dew, Jamka, Holyn Lachesis - Lex, Azel, Fin, Beowulf, Claude Sylvia - Lex, Dew, Levin, Claude, Nobody Fury - Alec, Noishe, Lex, Levin, Claude Tiltyu - Lex, Azel, Levin, Claude, Nobody Brigid - Lex, Midir, Jamka, Dew, Holyn
  14. One other question: I know that each game has an alternate version, so what are the differences between them? (If it's specific to each game, just a general idea is all I want)
  15. I have a lot of free time over the summer and I was thinking about starting the Pokemon series. I have a few questions 1. I know it's an RPG series but how similar is it to Final Fantasy? 2. Are there remakes in the series? I'd rather play a remade Gameboy game for the GBA then the old black and white version. 3. How time consuming is the series? Like how long does it take to 100% a game?
  16. Just letting people know that do to personal reasons I will likely not be getting to writing this till the weekend. I am still planning on doing this though. And about Amid and Linda; I guess with Elite and Tordo blood they are good, and I forgot that they are Wind/Thunder Mages and not just Mages.
  17. I've gathered these results from the polls Aideen - Midir, Jamka, Claude, Azel, Fin Aira - Noishe, Lex, Holyn, Dew, Jamka Lachesis - Fin, Beowulf, Lex, Azel, Claude Sylvia - Claude, Nobody, Lex, Levin, Dew Fury - Levin, Claude, Noishe, Lex, Alec Tiltyu - Azel, Levin, Lex, Nobody, Claude Brigid - Holyn, Dew, Lex, Midir, Jamka This is the general opinion on good pairings.
  18. I've calculated the results. I will write about: Tiltyu - Azel, Levin, Lex, Nobody, Claude Brigid - Holyn, Dew, Lex, Midir, Jamka I had no idea that Amid and Linda were so popular.
  19. Alright I've gathered the results: Aideen - Midir, Jamka, Claude, Azel, Fin Aira - Noishe, Lex, Holyn, Dew, Jamka Lachesis - Fin, Beowulf, Lex, Azel, Claude Sylvia - Claude, Nobody, Lex, Levin, Dew Fury - Levin, Claude, Noishe, Lex, Alec These are the pairings that I will write about.

  22. I think the forum allows votes to be deleted.
  23. As stated in my previous thread I am trying to determine the best five pairings for each mother in the game. I am enabling you to pick as many options as possible, but please only pick 5. Otherwise it's just counter productive. After 24 hours (5:00 PM EST tomorrow) I will begin writing my guide. There is another topic like this with the other options. If possible, post what you picked.
