I've pretty much got no games that I want to play, so I'm looking for advice on a game or series to get into. I've played: Mario Donkey Kong Zelda Final Fantasy Fire Emblem (Obviously) Katamari I've tried the Disgaea, Pokemon, and Sonic series, but I didn't really get into it or enjoy it. So any advice as to what to play? I know there are a lot of different gamers here that have different interests, so based on what I've played, what is similar? Also, I can't stand blood, so anything gory is out.

But isn't there still risk? If I remember the children are set after Lubeck, not the end of the first generation.

I can see that, but that also deprives the team of that character. I'm going to go into Amid and Linda, so losing Tiltyu isn't that bad, but losing Sylvia is much more important. The other difficulty involved is to avoid them falling in love.

I can see your point. This whole time I haven't been crediting the Silver Blade drop unless it is inherited. Yes the tool can fix it, but it is not exclusive to that pairing.

I can see that, but what's the difference? Either way, the easiest way to get the Silver Blade for inheritance is to kill Chagaal, whether they can use it or not.

Updated for Sylvia. It was not easy doing unpaired because I've never done an unpaired playthrough, so I tried my best. I won't pull them down because for example, Holyn can do it just as easily as Fin can.

The spoiler tags are because of a formatting problem when copying from Microsoft Word to the forums. Any father is capable of killing an enemy with the droppable item, so I can't say that Lex can't, meanwhile Fin can. As for Holsety, only Levin is capable, so it's a different story completely. I've never played without just waiting for turn 50 to pass, so I'm really new to this playstyle. I'm trying to understand it, but I'm not sure. What would you suggest I do to their ratings?

Because of what I stated. Also because any pairing could do it, so it isn't unique to the pairing.

Aless automatically becomes a blue unit after showing up, and only is an enemy during a cutscene. He may not have a death quote until he speaks to Celice, but more likely than not is just a glitch.

Thanks everyone for the advice! I did it! What I was doing wrong was dodging right in front of Tabuu. By moving slightly to the side, I dodged it every time. Thanks again!

I intentionally left it out because how do you decide who gets it? It is viable, but this isn't about whether Skasaha or Delmud get it. I'm using the assumption that neither get it. Also, I can mention the Prayer Sword, but I'm thinking that's a glitch, and I don't know if I want to include that.

Updated for Lachesis. Also, when I get to Arthur and Sety, is it pretty much said that Levin is the best father for both? (Regardless of the fact that he can only father one of them)

I didn't participate in this, but there is something that bothers me every time I look at this. I would suggest changing all the jokes on the list to normal. If a new player browses this, they won't understand the jokes, may not know who Volke, Kurthnaga, or Bastian are supposed to be, an will think Oliver is much better than normal.

I am struggling to beat boss battles on intense difficulty. I've completed every other challenge, but no matter what I do I can't beat this. I get to Tabuu with Kirby, but I can't dodge the wings attack for anything. Is there any trick to dodging the wing attack? I've tried using Pokemon Trainer in order to dodge by switich characters but I can never get to him without using Kirby's stone attack for defense. Please help!

I'm going to stop this. This isn't about shaving turns. This is for the casual player, not the player who wants to take the least turns possible. I'm sure that Rescue in Chapter 7 would be nice, but I'm not going to say that alone makes Aideen/Claude the best pairing for her.

I'm going to restate what I added to the opening post. This is about maximizing the potential of the children. Yes Corple is quite useless, but I'm not going to give every pairing a 0/10 for Corple. I'll be giving a fair ranking for that pairing regardless of the kids overall value. I'm only ranking stats compared to alternate versions of that unit. Also, this isn't about LTC. It's somewhat efficient, but not killing everything else to be fast.

Updated for Aira. Thanks Baldrick, but yes I was already keeping it in mind Also, the reason the ratings are either so high or zero is because of the way I chose the pairings. I'm only going with the top five options, which means that ratings will generally be good, but in cases like Claude!Lester, zeroes are well deserved.

I can understand the arguments that have been given, but with recent tier lists stating that efficiency is turns per chapter not overall turn count this argument has no validity.

I was looking at the FE10 RTU and I was surprised to see Caineghis get such a low rating. I can understand for Est units that they join late and are severly underleveled, but why would a unit be given a low rating if they join late, but are good and can easily fit into the team? The way I see it Caineghis is one of the best units in the game since he can fight well, and he requires no effort to get to that point.
