You have several battle options, but 97% of the time, it's always Skills --> Picking the skill to target the weakness. Or, switching out cast members for their skills and its benefits. This combat system is in no way shape or form complex. So yes, it's simplified.

I've put a good 70 hours into the game and nearing towards the end, but not yet quite close. It's mostly a Shin Megami Tensei game, but with Fire Emblem elements added to it, as well as characters borrowed from Awakening and Shadow Dragon. Once you reach a certain point in the game, you understand why other characters from different Fire Emblem games weren't chosen. Awakening and Shadow Dragon don't share the same timeline, but do exist in the same world and realm (Ylisse being the future Archanea). And so, for story purposes, it was limited down to characters from those two games. It's understandable why folks are so outraged by the game. It's not what any of us expected, especially since the teaser was highly misleading. BUT... I find Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE really addicting. Although the J-Pop is a bit cringey, I have to say, this game is very fun. It's a weird and wacky concept, but still pretty enjoyable and unique nonetheless.

I love Final Fantasy. But I can't imagine Lighting on Odin in Shin Megami Tensei. If Atlus took another approach with it, Tales of or Final Fantasy might have worked. Though the way Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem turned out, it wouldn't be a good mix either if FE was replaced with Tales of FF.

It's not surprising. Atlus always implements fanservice. Yeah, I'm disappointed in her outfit, but nonetheless, I'm giving it a chance because Atlus makes great games.

If she isn't related to the Avatar, I'd love to marry her.

Elincia is gorgeous and Volug isn't so bad himself.

I like Sothe as a person but... His strength doesn't quite match with the others in Part 4: Endgame. So yeah.

This is not entirely rare, but sometimes translation can occur while the game is being developed. As the script is progressing/finished, the texts and files are sent to the localization company and there, translation occurs.

I doubt it's cancelled. Both companies are working on other projects anyway, which slows the progression of it (maybe). Atlus is also very quiet about their upcoming games. I wish they would release more info.

Not sure if it's me only but... I never felt or sensed any romance tension between the two. (There's probably something in the support conversation, although I've never supported Elincia with Goeffrey to read that.) I've played Radiant Dawn numerous times. Perhaps I didn't see it well enough, but the relationship between Elincia and Geoffrey... can't say it was romantic. She most likely married him because... well, a queen needs a husband and legitimate child to take the throne. But she probably loved him too. Not sure. Like I said, didn't read the support conversation, and I never saw the romance.

I wish it could have been Elincia. But she married Geoffrey with A support. Damn it, Geoffrey. But he was never seen again, so I assume it was someone not on Tellius, because Ike left the contient to explore other lands.
