  2. Riku to the rescue! These are the instructions I gave Soul1112. Of course, instead of replacing F merc, or whatever, you will jsut enter 0x8FFF800 into the Female Shaman class's battle animation pointer. And in the custom battle animations module, this is what you need to do for Female Shaman, assuming you inserted it into A3. Have it set up exactly like that and you'll be right. If I'm not clear on anything, just ask.

    Oh crap, I forgot about this, thanks for reminding me! I'm going to use Cmaetch750 list of FE classes for the character's, because if every character had their own animation, I would go insane trying to make them all. If you have a sheet for a character that you would like to donate, that would be epic. But otherwise, it's just gonna be FE classes. With some exceptions, such as Mario.

  10. Of course you can. Just increase the max index when you're importing the animation, and import it into the new index. Of course, you'll have to set it up with the Custom Battle Animation module before you can use it.
  11. Can you upload the dump somewhere? To be more specific, I can insert the animation, but cannot save. Your problem with the Mage Knight isn't the animation, as I just tested it's critical (using Thunder) and it works fine. I had the same problem you did when I tried to make a stave attack, a while back. Try using a tome to test it, and not an iron sword
  12. Damn it! Beat me to a Sephiroth animation! These are great. An idea for Sephiroth's critical is Omnislash, or whatever it's called. Or you could make him move across the screen really quickly, past the enemy and have him disappear, then have a lot of slash things (you know, these things ) appear, or something like that.

  15. Did you only import one Great Knight animation? Because it has 5. (Sword, Lance, Axe, Hand Axe, Disarmed) I'll see if I can import Assassin into FE6 and get it to play properly. Also, Marcus looks pretty awesome as a Great Knight

  19. just some things you need to know. 1. When you import Necromancer, you need to open "(whatever you named it) Frame Data.dmp with a hex editor and replace '47 00 00 85' with '00 00 00 85' 2. Great knight's hand axe animation can not be imported with FEditor... unless Xeld fixed it so you can. But as far as i know, you cant.
  20. No, she's pure red dragon...that would be like Naesala and Leanne's kid having one black wing and one white wing. It can be either heron or raven but not both...I'm sure the laguz classes are like that. Her description says she's of 'White ans Red dragon blood'
  21. Ok, I'll give it a go at explaining how to import it with Feditor Adv. I'm going to assume you have the same version as I do. 1. In your FEditor Adv folder, click the application thing or whatever it is called 'run' 2. You will be prompted to open a file. Open up a clean FE6 or FE8 ROM. 3. Click on Tools, then 'Class Animation Manager.' A standing sprite, a weird looking sheet, some colors and a bunch of buttons should pop up. 4. Click the arrow pointing up next to Input Index, and scroll through the animations until you find Female Shaman. If you are using FE8, go to 76. I don't know what it is for FE6. 5. Click the button that says Dump. Give it whatever name you feel like (For this example, I'll call it ShamanF), then save it. You should probably save it into a new folder, because it saves more than one file. 6. Here's where you need a hex editor. My personal favourite is HxD. So use it. Anyway, in that folder you 'dumped' the animation into, there will be a file called 'whatever you called it' Frame Data.dmp (in my case, "ShamanF Frame Data.dmp) Open this file with HxD 7. You will see a bunch of numbers. Press Ctrl+R. Click the bubble that says All (its above Forward) Change the drop down box next to 'Datatype' from 'Text-string' to Hex-values 8. Enter 47 00 00 85 into the 'Search For' text box, and 00 00 00 85 into the 'Replace with' text box. Press Ok. 9. A text box should pop up and say it replaced 7 occurences. Close the text box, and save the file. 10. Run FEditor again, only this time, open FE7 instead of FE6 or FE8 11. Again, click on Tools, then 'Class Animation Manager' 12. Look where it says 'Max Index' at the top of the screen. The Max Index should say A2. Change this to A3. 13. In the Input index, enter A3. It should remain as whatever animation you were last viewing. 14. Click on the button that says 'Insert'. You will be prompted to open a file. Go to that folder where you dumped the animation, and select (whatever you called it), The one that has no file extension, so for me its 'ShamanF'. 15. Wait a couple of seconds, and a text box should say 'Animation Inserted!' Now click File, then save. And thats it, you're done!
