Princess Kilvas
If I were to give Reyson the skill Counter, would it ever activate? Edited December 11, 2008 by Princess Kilvas
Lord Raven
Not if you're smart and keep him the fuck away from enemy lines. Counter's pretty useless in this game anyway. Otherwise, yes. Edited December 11, 2008 by Nathan Graves
Fireman
Seeing as how Counter's activation% is half your skill and the most skill that Reyson has on average is about 17 at level 20.... Counter would only active about 9% of the times Reyson gets attacked, and that's only at level 20. So in short, yes, it would activate. You just have to get Reyson attacked a lot. ^^ Edited December 11, 2008 by Fireman

YokaiKnight
Follow up: Anyone know if he would gain battle EXP for Countering, or just the normal 1 point because he didn't "fight?"
Florete
The only reason I imagine you'd want to do this is for the possibility of Reyson getting a kill. I never thought of it and would probably never do it, but it would be interesting.
Knife
Follow up: Anyone know if he would gain battle EXP for Countering, or just the normal 1 point because he didn't "fight?" Only one exp. Though I think he gets full exp for the kill. Edited December 11, 2008 by Knife

I never thought of it and would probably never do it, but it would be interesting. It would probably be really difficult, though, because the enemy would have to be weakened by somebody else. And assuming Counter doesn't activate, that leaves Reyson in a pretty bad place...
Nintenlord
So a Reyson solo would technically be possible with a healer? <_< Edited December 11, 2008 by Nintenlord

Mekkah
It works as long as only one enemy attacks him per enemy phase!
Killer Poleax
Damn, that's gonna be really hard. If you're not lucky, Reyson will die before counter even activates. Doesn't he get one-rounded by almost everything? He'll need a lot of bexp just to survive and a healer right beside him. That's definitely one of the hardest challenges you could do in this game. Legault
^Have you ever tried get Reyson score more kills than Ike? THAT is the ultimate FE9 challenge. Counter is a really suckish skill in the first place. To score a kill with it in the first place, you'd need someone to damage Reyson with a decent amount of damage. Too bad his HP can only resist a decent amount of damage.
Mekkah
You should only need like 3 kills on Reyson, since the game never forces you to kill anything with Ike ever again after Prologue, I think.
Lord Raven
I find it hard to kill things without involving people and Ike always tends to get the job done.

It's probably possible but it would take a really long time and a lot of patience.
riariadne
i would like that. reyson: hey ashnard! i am going to utterly destroy you!
Father Wood
I think I've heard of a video out there with Reyson actually getting 1st in kills. Never thought that he wouldo've done this, I assumed he just hacked it.

You actually don't kill anybody in the prologue either.
