luigi bros
Well Emblem Blade along with the other Emblem weapons have like 60 use. Though I don't think it should be considered. They aren't iron weapons they're emblem weapons. Because 46 is Roy's lucky number. How and why?
dondon151
Roy can support with 46 chicks, but 40 of them aren't programmed into the game.
Judge Judy
I am not sure but I think probably because its the weakest sword...=/ When you start the game, units will have to rely on Iron Swords because they won't be getting any other different types of swords until much later in the game. Lord Raven
And then to help preserve Funds, and because they're always available. Well, you can probably afford better weapons if I recall correctly, but iron weapons are ALWAYS available and are quite safe on Funds. Father Wood
Likely because they're large pieces of metal, while Axes and Lances are blades attached to pieces of wood. This. I swear FE3 Player is one of the smartest dudes on these forums. Edited January 6, 2009 by Yourgranny
luigi bros
Another strange thing about weapons; steel weapons are D ranked but steel axes are E. Why?
Icon of Sin
Another strange thing about weapons; steel weapons are D ranked but steel axes are E. Why? The same way it's the same thing for Poison weapons, except lances got E this time. Though my guess for that is that Soldiers have an E base IIRC. Robert
maybe they expect that sword will double the most so they have even # usage?
Emblem Lugh
Likely because they're large pieces of metal, while Axes and Lances are blades attached to pieces of wood. Who says axes and lances can't be all metal?
canas is back
Another strange thing about weapons; steel weapons are D ranked but steel axes are E. Why? it is because axes are very easy weapons to use or it is because axes have crap hit
La Yodha Stasella
Who says axes and lances can't be all metal? it would be a waste of iron which would bring financial crisis amongst the population, eventually your troops shall kill the lord for that
TheEnd
Who says axes and lances can't be all metal? Economics.
Orderly_Chaos
Maybe in the first FE instead of having the durability 45 they accidentily made it 46 and decicded never to fix it even in the games after it.
riariadne
I think that it evens out with soldiers being probably the most common enemy. Edited January 16, 2009 by Reinfleche
Rei Rei
I think that it evens out with soldiers being probably the most common enemy. Then they would up the Iron Axe uses, don't you think?
