The way down was rather uneventful like most nights, but on the way back I happened to run into a girl who was clearly intoxicated. She asked me for my name and then introduced herself as Kayla. We talked for about five minutes before someone called her back to the house she was visiting. Turns out she grew up not too far from where I previously lived. She even hugged me before I went on my way... twice, I might add. Hm, hm... I guess going for mile-long walks at night in subfreezing temperatures can be interesting.
