My guess is one is legit while the other is not. I stick to just "Buy It Now" too. Only time I bid is usually on really obscure items that have 0 or just 1 bidder. I figured they'd probably just forget the CS stuff right away. Have fun Dynamic Memory, Pointers and all that jazz if you ever get there.
