Kind of a bitch to train, but it does come right before a Dragon gym he can easily beat (just watch out for Druddigons since they have Revenge). The fun in using it is when Defiant activates though. How many Rare Candies did you have around...? And personally, I wouldn't be patient enough to evolve Deino into Zweilous, let alone HYDREIGON before the E4. True, but being stuck as a Tynamo until level 39 might be a deal breaker, even with the flying gym around the corner (and that's discounting rarity).
