It's still is highly considerable to use since it's one of the only 3 Pokemon out of 649 to have no weaknesses along side Spiritomb and Sableye being the other 2. Less weaknesses=Better Pokemon. It's also considerable to always have a Normal, Electric type, or both in any Pokemon team. Because they only have one weakness. Electrode is also considerable since it's the only Electric type with only one weakness that can learn Magnet Rise which will protect it from Ground type moves making it weak to nothing while it's in the air.
