She's also shy when talking and stuff, and even about her dancing, but when dancing in combat (or whatever), she says she forgets the shyness or whatever... Not that I would want anyone calling her yandere or anything. And I guess dancing isn't the same as jabbing a lance into someone........ oh god let me run away now. Heck, I just recently heard a similar thing. It was in this manga, Nobunaga no Chef, where the titular chef by orders from Nobunaga was told to prepare food at the Battle of Anegawa, and let the wind carry the smell to the Azai troops. When the chef's men asked him about this crazy plan, the chef explained that the Azai troops, about half of them being conscripted peasants, their concentration would break from the smell, as it would be a reminder of the fact they're just peasant fighting for the lord who currently owns their lands, leaving them helpless and no longer adrenaline-driven and stuff. Meanwhile, Oda's forces, composed almost entirely of trained soldiers, would remain collected and composed despite the smell, and deliver the crushing blow. So in a nutshell, it's mostly psychological and the circumstances of an hectic situation. The same thing could more or less be applied to Florina. When fighting in a battle with your life at stake, it's easy to forget your non-related fears. At least, that's what I think anyway...
