It's gotta be a bug that's causing it to avoid letting you get behind it so well because it doesn't move that fast in videos I've seen. The combat system pretty meh too. TheEnd Posted July 12, 2013 Share Posted July 12, 2013 (edited) I've never actually finished Ys I (Ys Book I&II aside), since it's balanced in a way that you reach the level cap midway through the game (when you enter Darm Tower).
