Mario music is usually terribly mediocre and just serves to be a theme for your adventures, whereas Sonic music can stand on its own. Let's not even get into Sonic > Mario despite it also being true. deleted35362 Posted July 21, 2013 Share Posted July 21, 2013 i feel like sonic music diminished after sonic adventure 1, but sonic games do have songs that are good standalone. it really helps that the 2 guys(the band, crush 40) that are in charge of sonic's music are good rock songwriters and hire great guest singers and bands for the songs that crush 40 doesn't just perform themselves.
