Bueno, el portugués es como el hijo del español, figurativamente (ya que Portugal se separó de España a mediados del siglo XV). Lo que importa es que... bueno, como lo explico... para mí es natural reconocer muchas palabras, y poder así entender oraciones. No siempre claro.

Huh... so it works the other way around? How TE says he can understand Spanish because of Portuguese.

Well, from what I remember, he says it's much more easier Portuguese to Spanish than Spanish to Portuguese. And I'll be honest, I don't doubt it.

He visto que varias palabras se parecen mucho, pero aun asi no he encontrado ninguna oración que puedo entender muy bien.

*only has an idea of what's being said* I never took any Spanish. I only learned some and the really foul words back when i was an anklebiter from Hispanic friends. Portuguese is....something i dont have any real experience with.

¿El español es tu lengua nativa? Tal vez eso hace la diferencia, no lo se.
