Then I stopped buying cheap 'phones. Every one I have ever bought that was less than $25 USD, save for one, failed after a few months or even weeks. I have a pair of Sony Headphones from 20 years ago that still function just fine. They are in my stereo equipment and kinda bulky so i dont use them much.
