FE4 THREAD

So I guess memorization of words/kanji and grammar are more important in the JLPT than actual oratory and auditory skills?

it's a multiple choice test

while you still need to get a minimum score in the listening part, it's still what, 1/3 or 1/4 of the entire test? there's no writing, and there's no interview either.

Trilingual is trilingual!

Better than my Korean or Russian, at least. I speak those languages more than I know grammar.

since you're so willing to dodge it, i'll let your implied "but your english isn't even that good" slide

W-why would I feign cluelessness? WHAT HAVE I TO GAIN FROM SUCH A FACADE?

we're talking about the gain herself, here

no, it's for everyone in this thread

since it's aimed at the reader

after all the trouble i went through to get that patch out

indeed, it even involved stopping to exist in vincent's eyes

and yet

But SF cuts it off if I use Ein's name. :<

Or I guess I can just use the name "Ein" in Japanese instead.

.... a lot of people use ittttttttttttttt. and I will too.

I see. Fortunately, multiple choice tests are have EDUCATED GUESSES and ELIMINATION on your side.

I DIDN'T MEAN IT THAT WAY. ;w;

I'm no robber.

that extra じゃ is unnecessary

seems like you need to watch more japanese cartoons

I hear "nandemoneeyo" a lot.

But I didn't know how to write that. :<

Was it "ない" or "ねえ"? But the latter doesn't look write, while the former isn't what I hear!

you could have used ein, but you didn't

but it's okay

it's okay shirley, i understand

i was prepared for this part of the ending when i agreed to join that project

of course i wasn't ready for the sacrifice, but

I see. Fortunately, multiple choice tests are have EDUCATED GUESSES and ELIMINATION on your side.

and that only makes the test less credible

i said i'd let it slide, and so i will

false reassurance through semantics, huh

nandemonee is nandemonee

nandemonai is nandemonai

they mean the same thing, just like ore and watashi do

As long as you get your certificate...

B-but you have to admit that I didn't mean anything bad first!

W-what is this "reassurance" you speak of? I am absolutely, positively, completely and totally 100% assured!

I see.

Is it spelled "何でもねえ," then?

so what

a certificate isn't a magical contract that will bestow knowledge upon me

that's why i refused to take the ikkyu test, as it'd be meaningless even if i did manage to sore 70% or whatever and pass

did you say something

so that's how you're going to play your game, huh

e/wa aside, japanese is written like it's spoken

of course, you won't usually find slang-like forms on dictionaries though (for instance, sugoi -> sugee)

the "it's written motenai, but read moteuchi" issues derive from kanji readings only, not kana

so jenni basically left and didn't say anything...

;_;

It's proof of knowledge!

Ikkyu? Never heard of that one before...

N-no.

M-must... deny... more...

How about を, huh?

Isn't nandemonee slang for nandemonai like sugee is for sugoi, though?

Mote... uchi?

Without even saying what her "interesting idea" was... :<

it's a mere diploma, a formality, a tool

i suppose it's the old way of calling the levels (yonkyuu/sankyuu/nikyuu/ikkyuu)

i like that way better than "n1" and the like

also (nihongo)nouryokushiken

very well

i saw that

wo reads just like o but is used only as particle

it's the same principle

google it

maybe her idea was "leaving without a notice"

What was that again, a TV show...?

Wait... you never watched it?

It's a medieval-fantasy tv serie.

And... I really like its opening theme...
