Lance Masayoshi
Today during band, I had to get my Baritone Sax to the theater. Which is a long way away. And, it was raining. So by the time I got there, me and the instrument case was soaked. And it took me 10-15 minuets to get there...
Nobody
Of course. I didn't mean all of Brazil. But, like, the Amazon is mostly there. And then there was deforestation. IF HAVING TO WADE THROUGH WATER IS ARID, WHAT IS THIS? A DESERT?! >_> Semi arid areas can have rain once in a while >_>And like, 90% of the country's population lives outside the amazonia. Rain is also very irregular. Here where i live, it does rain an awful lot half the year, but the other half, there's almost no rain. Most of brazil is like this to a certain extent (outside of amazonia, which despite being half the country in area, only have abou 10% of the population) Edited April 30, 2014 by Nobody
Fruity Insanity
Wide-reaching rainstorm, huh. Shirley in New York. Shadowfrost in Ohio. And me in Maryland.

Ϲharlie
Rainstorms? Rainstorms?! I just drove through a goddamn rainstorm. I could barely see where I was going! It was a right pain in the ass I tell you.

Living outside the jungle. Is Brazil even in the temperate zone (four seasons)? Or does it have more equatorial weather (rainy season, dry season)? *goes to Google*
Fruity Insanity
Its raining there too? Damn. I WAS COMPLAINING ABOUT IT JUST A SECOND AGO. x3 My shoes are soaked through and through. Rainstorms? Rainstorms?! I just drove through a goddamn rainstorm. I could barely see where I was going! It was a right pain in the ass I tell you. Indeed. I was walking through little lakes on my way home from school.
Aquakat
I think my town once again escaped the worst parts, but the wind was horrific. We had two trees down in a couple of major roads in town this morning.

Most of Ohio was under Tornado warning, but my area wasn't. Just rain and lighting.
Acacia Sgt
Rain troubles huh. Glad we don't face much of that over here. Yay for deserts.
Pull My Devil Trigger
I came home from school. And my shoes are literally in water. And my pants were, too. TOO MUCH RAIN. I guess I should count my blessings, though. We don't have as much rain as, say, Tonton. Maybe TE, too, but I have no idea where he lives and what the weather there is like. I just know Brazil has lots of rainforests. Our rainforests are mostly in northwestern part of the country I live in the northeastern litoral :p LOL Not the entirity of brazil is a rainforest haha Also, IIRC, tonton lives in a semi arid area >_> I moved because of college, though :/ And here were I live the rain season is around the middle of the year
Pull My Devil Trigger
Also, as Nobody said, the Caatinga has rare and irregular rain, doesn't mean it doesn't rain It can go years without raining and have a pretty heavy rain on one day and have plenty others without a single drop or have a few days with little or a lot of rain But mostly it doesn't rain, specially on some years

I know that, but I mean, is it considered arid if it rains like that even once? >_> 'Cause having to wade through water. Isn't exactly what I'd call arid. Oh. Close to equator. Tropical weather. So rain season and dry season. Or something like that. lel I agree with you there. #2muchrain4me Our rainforests are mostly in northwestern part of the country I live in the northeastern litoral :p Also, as Nobody said, the Caatinga has rare and irregular rain, doesn't mean it doesn't rain It can go years without raining and have a pretty heavy rain on one day and have plenty others without a single drop or have a few days with little or a lot of rain But mostly it doesn't rain, specially on some years I see. Pull My Devil Trigger
Not where I currently leave I'm at the litoral now, so it's quite different, with where I live in particular having high temperatures for the most part and lots of rain around the middle of the year

Nobody
Never seen a drought before. Probably because I live nearby hell large lakes and the abnormal weather in Ohio but.. Here where i live, despite raining a lot (and i REALLY mean a lot, like thunderstorms almost everyday) between november and february, it almost doesn't rain between may and september. TBH it isn't that bad. Your nose starts bleeding out of nowhere, but other than that i don't really mind it Edited April 30, 2014 by Nobody

Aquakat
Nosebleeds because of low humidity suck. :x Poor sensitive noses... You can get nosebleeds from low humidity? I've heard of cold causing them suddenly, but not that. ...Of course, I live in GA where 80% humidity is considered normal, SO
