(Was it SeverIan or not...) But I would never have guessed it's actually real and comes from the anime. o_O Hmm this art style looks like the "new" style though. I almost can't tell. It's been so long since I've seen the original style. Maybe not mulling over it would do me better, but I long for that original style Kircheis. It just made him look... nice? Or is it just one of those "original is the real!" cases? It feels so funny watching all this "ugh blond brat let's get rid of him" after having seen Reinhard become MEIN KAISER OF THE UNIVERSE in the main series. It's like, "hoo boy. you guys know who you're talking to? he's the future Kaiser!!!" but of course they don't know that. It's nice to see lively ambitious Reinhard again. A reminder of how fueled he was to gain power. It's also nice to see him pushing for the front lines like his usual self. Such courage!
