bump system?

why not

there's no attack button, you position yourself properly (usually diagonally) and bump into enemies to deal damage

no jumping, awkward party system

Holy crap $150?

And I thought my $20 shipping was bad.

~80% of the (game's price + shipping) as taxes

You keep forgetting that OM is BR

indeed

why not

In Ys1&2 you have to "bump" into your enemies to beat them making some fights quite difficult

Ys 7 while okay, was odd.

Team members are largely useless, and there's virtually no replay value to be had whatsoever.

are you afraid of addiction

Nah, no money <.<

Poor TE.

on the Vita?

Yes.

Seven, Ys I & II, and Felghana are on the Vita.

Even if they have worse graphics.

That's like a 100% mark-up. .-.

It's just so expensive, I'm shocked every time I hear about it.

My main gripe with Ys 7 was the party system. Having to constantly rotate party members along with the unnecessary amount of playable characters made things a pain.

A lot of Falcom's recent games are like that, though.

Celceta is like that.

I think you can do that in Sen, too, if you press R during battle or something.

But I forget.

Presumably Sen II, too.

And not to mention the new Ys game looks like it'll have a party system again.

Because it's nice to have physical copies of games, and I know you'd be much more willing to pay for them were it not for those stupid import taxes. It's almost like you're forced to pirate. Or at least I know I would...

Why would they even do that?

I remember you (or someone) saying it's the same kind of tax on drugs and firearms or something?

Which is stupid.

Arrrrrgh.

I see.

Is there online multiplayer in that game?

Yes and it's free unlike in the JP release.

I wouldn't call them useless, since the main problem was that you had to constantly switch between them due to weapon dis/advantages.

My main gripe with Ys 7 was the party system. Having to constantly rotate party members along with the unnecessary amount of playable characters made things a pain.

I have too many gripes with Ys 7.

The party system, the weapon typing, the boring skills, no jumping, the boss designs (gameplay wise), and the difficulty progression was all messed up too.

Not really, as long as its playable.

Frankly, I think it doesn't really matter.

Playing 1&2 after can give you the same "oh there was that in Origin" moments instead.

ye, pretty much

Although i think i finised YsI before the true route

Also i really got to like the bump system in the end

Too bad YsII's bosses were mostly dependant on fireball

I think the only problem with starting with Origin is that it spoils Reah and Feena's identities in YsI

but other than that, I think the rest really shouldn't matter...

@Balcerzak : If you missed it, since you didn't reply:

The official site :

https://www.playdominion.com/Dominion/gameClient.html

The base game is completely free so people should test it out.

And sure! I'm still terrible at it, but remind me next week end or anytime between 8PM and 11PM (UTC+1).

I should be able to play it this week-end.

Is that even a big deal.
