Loki Laufeyson Posted October 19, 2014 Share Posted October 19, 2014 Even My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic became nothing but fanservice In that they focus more on characters that were intended to be background characters just for becoming popular with the fans or they repeat certain "sounds" characters made just because their fans adored those sounds and characters that were meant for an only one-time appearance suddenly started getting several appearances and one character that was meant to talk normally doesn't talk that normally anymore just because there was one word that that character said that the fans loved and now that character pretty much only says that word now It's started turning me off from the show a little, unfortunately But the whole point of this post is that I know what meaning people expect when they read the word "fanservice" and so I have suspicions on what they'll expect when they read the first line~ I actually jumped ship from that fandom. The show's quality was declining and the fandom was getting way too weird. Its just like "yo...no." I just replaced that fandom with Marvel. hue~ This has been bugging me since you used it before so I decided to check.
