I say the worst is Ice or Dark, but it really depends on what you're using 'em for. In virtually all circumstances, though, the worst combination is WindIce. Neither Ice or Dark are bad. They're full of 2.5s. The only thing they're not giving is Atk. Yeah, it does depend most of the time. Ice would be good paired with something that gives Atk. Why would you listen to a band if the vocalist that's always been there changed his or her voice? I think what you're trying to say is, "THEIR SONGS ARE ALL THE SAME". Also, Nickelback singer guy doesn't have much of a range. I don't remember any of theirs songs going beyond one octave.
