Rokkenjima Arena

Welcome to Rokkenjima Arena. Here, you can participate in one-on-one matches or group matches with members of your own or other Empires. The system is simple: You- and your team, if you have one- enter an arena "map", with the other team entering from the other side. The two teams then fight until the victory condition: usually routing the other team, although the Judge may apply a modified victory condition as he sees fit.

Prior to the fight, the Judge will impose one (Count, 1) law from the list below. The two teams will then chose one specific bonus from the list of bonuses. As long as a team follows that law, they will continue to recieve that bonus durring the match (Or will recieve it at the end of the match if it's a reward bonus). However, if even one team member breaks the law, that team loses their bonus for the rest of the match. Furthermore, each team will be able to go into battle with a 10-item "Team Inventory", consisting of any items the team may want to bring into battle. This inventory may contain any number of items except for equip items. Any member of your team can use an item that's in the Team Inventory at any time durring the match.

In order to join a match, you must post your team and weather you will wait for another opponent. The 500 gold Entry Fee will automatically be deducted when you enter. As you win matches, you will be awarded Judge Points. You can use these points to buy better Bonuses (Starting bonuses are the Level 1 bonuses plus Bonus JP). You will receive 10 Judge points for winning a match while upholding the law, and 5 for winnig yet breaking the law. You will also recieve 5 if you lost but still upheld the law. You receive none if you broke the law and lost.

Currently, we are still in the process of building the maps. In the meantime, basic one-on-one matches can be held in the lobby. These matches don't involve the tactics employed in maps, and as such come down to being a pure statistics/skills battle.

Laws:

  1. Fire: Weapons and abilities that use fire are forbidden.
  2. Lightning: Weapons and abilities that use lightning are forbidden.
  3. Wind: Weapons and abilities that use wind are forbidden.
  4. Anima: Weapons and abilities that use fire, lightning, or wind are forbidden.
  5. Swords: Using Knives or Swords is forbidden.
  6. Lances: Using Lances is forbidden.
  7. Axes: Using Axes is forbidden
  8. Ranged: Attacks with Bows, Crossbows, Firearms, and Cards are forbidden.
  9. Harming the Opposite Sex: Attacking a unit of the opposite gender is forbidden.
  10. Items: Non-Equip Items are forbidden.
  11. Rings: All rings are forbidden.
  12. Restoring HP: Healing is forbidden.
  13. Missing: Missing with an attack is forbidden.
  14. Buffs: Buffs are forbidden.
  15. Debufs: Debuffs are forbidden.
  16. Buffs and Debuffs: Buffs and debuffs are forbidden.
  17. Being Robbed: Having gold or items stolen is forbidden.
  18. Grouping: Ending the turn with a unit in an adjacent tile is forbidden.
  19. Solitude: Ending the turn without a unit in an adjacent tile is forbidden.
  20. Not moving: Not moving at least one tile is forbidden.
  21. Swimming: Entering water is forbidden.

Bonuses:

  • Power 1: Increase Str by 2.
  • Power 2: Increase Str by 4. (10 JP)
  • Power 3: Increase Str by 6. (20 JP)
  • Power 4: Increase Str by 8. (40 JP)
  • Power 5: Increase Str by 10. (80 JP)
  • Magic 1: Increase Mag by 2.
  • Magic 2: Increase Mag by 4. (10 JP)
  • Magic 3: Increase Mag by 6. (20 JP)
  • Magic 4: Increase Mag by 8. (40 JP)
  • Magic 5: Increase Mag by 10. (80 JP)
  • Speed 1: Increase Spd by 2.
  • Speed 2: Increase Spd by 4. (10 JP)
  • Speed 3: Increase Spd by 6. (20 JP)
  • Speed 4: Increase Spd by 8. (40 JP)
  • Speed 5: Increase Spd by 10. (80 JP)
  • Move 1: Increase Mov by 1.
  • Move 2: Increase Mov by 2. (10 JP)
  • Move 3: Increase Mov by 3. (20 JP)
  • Move 4: Increase Mov by 4. (40 JP)
  • Move 5: Increase Mov by 5. (80 JP)
  • Luck 1: Increase Lck by 2.
  • Luck 2: Increase Lck by 4. (10 JP)
  • Luck 3: Increase Lck by 6. (20 JP)
  • Luck 4: Increase Lck by 8. (40 JP)
  • Luck 5: Increase Lck by 10. (80 JP)
  • Bonus JP: Recieve an extra Judge Point for winning.
  • Bonus Gold: Recieve 500 extra gold for winning. (20 JP)
  • Regen: Units regain a small/medium/large amount of HP each turn. Does not count as a Buff, and does not stack with any other Regen items or skills. (40 JP)
  • Debuff Resistance 1: Grants immunity to Poison.
  • Debuff Resistance 2: Grants immunity to Poison and Silence (10 JP)
  • Debuff Resistance 3: Grants immunity to Poison, Silence and Sleep (20 JP)
  • Debuff Resistance 4: Grants immunity to Poison, Silence, Sleep, and Berserk (40 JP)
  • Safe Keeping: Prevents items from being stolen or destroyed. (30 JP)

More laws or bonuses may be created as the Arena grows.

Unlocked Bonuses per Combatant:

  • BlackKnight: Speed 2

Maps:

Top 10 Ranking will be added once there are more than 10 members that have competed in the Arenas. The Rankings will be based on a Kill-Knocked out Ratio, with Kills being the heavier weighted number.

heh,well,I can;t do too much as a mono weapon user eh?

No blades?Oh damn...Heh

That's only one law that may be inacted. You could get a completely different one.

If you DO get Blades, it's not the end of the world. You just lose your bonus.
