Now most people get married as late as their 40's, that would be 30 years over their sexual peak so it's not logical. Spiritual: People who follow science aren't really too concerned over the whole 'sex before marriage' thing anyway, but spiritual people are. Here's my argument: I believe that marriage is the highest union between two people. Marriage is the ultimate joining between two people in love, so to wait to have sex until after that, would be degrading the relationship betweem the two, since sex is the frenzied nature of love. This is how I see the 'love spectrum": 1. Friendship 2. Good Friendship (Hugging.) 3. Dating. (Light Kissing) 4. Going steady. (Major relationship) 5. Sex. 6. Engaged. 7. Marriage. And you can still have sex, kiss etc after marriage. (So long as it isn't with another partner.) Of course this is all with someone you love. For someone you just want to fuck, it's different: 1. And hika, Brave new world is about a futurisitc world where everyone takes drugs (viagra basically) and has sex with anyone. Getting in actual relationships is forbidden in their society, just "hey", fuck, then "bye" I stopped when they were at the part when they were teaching kids how to have sex and a nurse had sex with some kid. I believe that the decision on whether or not to have sex is something that is ultimately up to each individual. Personally, I'm not going to have sex unless it's with someone I know really well.
