The second one where "Astra" is using his weapon looks cool but his weapon name has an odd spacing issue with the j. Maybe moving it over a pixel or so...i dunno. I think that part of the issue with the shield is that the yellow/gold trim around it doesn't really changing shading as it jumps to the darker area on the shield. My only possibly crit is that the shoulders look like they sit a little too low, and the sides of the breastplate seem a little funny.
