ReformBlade
What are the best pairs for first and second Gen?
Ansem
Well the predestined ones were.......... Ayra X Holyn Adean X Midir Lachesis X Beowulf Levin X Fury (You must do this) Sylvia X Claude Tiltyu X Azel Briggid X Dew This way you can get inherited items without any hassle The best ones can be debated but i know one of them is Fury X Levin
Icon of Sin
What are the best pairs for first and second Gen? Last I heard : Edin X Midayle Ayra X Lex Lachesis X Beo or Fin Sylvia X Grim Reaper Fury X Claude Tiltyu X Levin Bridget X Holyn 2nd gen pairings is mostly for stat bonuses in the final chapter, but I guess you could do something like: Rana X Celice Patty X Shanan Lackhe X Johalva/Johan Yuria X filler (Celice is possible, but you could try Skasaha) Fee X Arthur Tinny X Sety Leen X Aless Nanna X Leaf Note that in second generation, Fin, Hannibal and Altenna can't be paired, but Oifaye can. He even gets a Skill bonus once both are lovers and Freege is conquered in the final chapter, plus a convo. Soviet Gregor
Well the predestined ones were.......... Ayra X Holyn Adean X Midir Lachesis X Beowulf Levin X Fury (You must do this) Sylvia X Claude Tiltyu X Azel Briggid X Dew - Not predestined, btw. This way you can get inherited items without any hassle The best ones can be debated but i know one of them is Fury X Levin Predestined, but not necessarily the best. And Fury x Levin isn't a must. MINE pairs were(all play-through) Ayra x Lex, x Holyn Adean x Midir Lachesis x Beowulf, x Fin Fury x Levin, x Claude Sylvia X Noish Tiltyu X Azel, x Levin Briggid X Holyn
El Rey León
For Beginners: Aideen x Midayle Ayra x Holyn Fury x Levin Sylvia x Claude Lachesis x Beowulf Tiltyu x Azel Briggid x Jamka What I like to do: Aideen x Midayle Ayra x Lex Fury x Levin Sylvia x Claude Lachesis x Fin Tiltyu x Azel Briggid x Dew
Krad
1st Generation: Aideen x Midayle Ayra x Lex/Noish Lachesis x Beowulf/Fin Fury x Levin/Claude Sylvia x Claude/Dew/Not paired Briggid x Jamka/Holyn/Azel Tiltyu x Levin/Azel 2nd Generation: Lana x Celice Lakche x Brohan/Brohalva Yuria x Anyone, since all of her pairings outside of Celice are just too slow (0+0) Fee x Arthur Patty x Shanan Nanna x Leaf Tinny x Sety, but all of her pairings have the same speed, so it doesn't really matter Leen x Aless
riariadne
Well the predestined ones were.......... Ayra X Holyn Adean X Midir Lachesis X Beowulf Levin X Fury (You must do this) Sylvia X Claude Tiltyu X Azel Briggid X Dew This way you can get inherited items without any hassle The best ones can be debated but i know one of them is Fury X Levin YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG And they're in no way predestined. The best pairings IMO are Arya and Lex Aideen and Midir or Jamka Lachesis and Beowulf or Fin Sylvia could be left unpaired Fury and Claude Tiltyu and Levin Briggid and Holyn
Ansem
YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG And they're in no way predestined. Soviet Gregor
Says the person who just finished his first playthrough Daughter class = Mother class promo/unpromo Son class = Father class promo/umpromo Nope. Predestined means story wise. So what are YOU talking about.
Thor Odinson
I actually really liked Tiltyu x Lex as a pairing. The kids suffer from mag issues, but who cares when Wrath-Ambush kick in? Here's the pairings I like to use---I like to change up the pairings I use a bit while still getting useful kids. Ayra x Holyn/Lex (Depends on if I want Moonlight or fast-growing tanks on said playthrough) Lachesis x Beowulf (will do Fin at some point) Aideen x Midayle/Jamuka Fury x Levin/Claude (Depends on if I want OP Holsety or OP magic tank) Sylvia x Claude (If only for Valk staff. Best used in conjunction with the Balmung glitch) Tiltyu x Azel/Levin/Lex (I actually like Lex the best for Wrath-Ambush combo. It's fun. Azel's the backup option on runs when Ayra goes with Lex and Levin goes with Fury, anyway.) Briggid x Holyn/Dew Second Gen I do: Celice x Lana Lakche x Dozel Axe dude Shanan x Patty Arthur x Fee Nanna x Leaf Leen x Aless Tinny x Sety Yuria x Skasaha (purely because I like this pairing. Speed wise it doesn't matter who) Edited June 10, 2010 by Luminescent Blade
Ansem
Nope. Predestined means story wise. So what are YOU talking about. I sorta guessed that they inherited their parents class
Psych
I do this: Ayra x Dew Lachesis x Beowulf Aideen x Jamuka Fury x Levin Sylvia x Claude Tiltyu x Azel Briggid x Holyn Second Gen I just let it fall, But I do pair Lakche with Shannan. Vyland
Casual Fun Playthrough: Ayra x Holyn Lachesis x Finn Aideen x Jamuka Fury x Levin Sylvia x Claude Tiltyu x Azel Briggid x Dew Stop Having Fun Playthrough: Ayra x Lex Lachesis X Beowulf Aideen x Mideel Fury x Claude Sylvia x Nobody Tiltyu x Levin Briggid x Holyn
Sophius
These are the pairings I've found to work best, Ayra X Dew Briggid X Holyn Aideen X Jamka Tiltyu X Lex Lachesis X Azel Sylvia X Claude Fury X Levin
BBM
For a first time player, Fury x Levin is the easiest pairing to make. A conversation in Chapter 4 automatically makes them fall in love.
Biabarr
My personal favorites are: G1: Fury/Levin: this is cannon if you played Thracia Tyldu/Azel Ayra/ Lex or Holyn....depends on how I am feeling Sylvia/ Claude: This is the best way to keep Corple as a decent character Lachesis/Beowolf/Finn Bridget/Jamka/Dew Aideen/Midir/Jamka G2: Rana/Celice Leen/Aless Nanna/Leaf Tinny/Sety Phee/Arthur Patty/Shannan Lakche/whichever one of the brothers I happen to recruit
Mousefire
Ayra X Lex or Dew Aideen X Midir or Jamka Tiltyu X Levin or Azel Lachesis X Lex, Fin, or Beowolf Briggid X Holyn, Jamka, or Dew Fury X Levin or Claude Sylvia X Claude or Levin Second gen is basically for an endgame conversation and/or speed Celice X Lana Lakche X Johan/halva Phee X Arthur Nanna X Leaf Patty X Shanan Leen X Aless Tinny X Sety Julia X Whatever
Mekkah
I actually really liked Tiltyu x Lex as a pairing. The kids suffer from mag issues, but who cares when Wrath-Ambush kick in? All these enemies that survive a critical hit.
TheEnd
All these enemies that survive a critical hit. And considering Lex!Arthur/Tinny's pitiful Magic growth, those are nearly omnipresent.
Sophius
And considering Lex!Arthur/Tinny's pitiful Magic growth, those are nearly omnipresent. If you give arthur a hero sword once he promotes(and he usuallly promotes in the ch.6/7 for me, though it'll probably be ch.7/8 for most) he gets two critical hits with ambush, meaning all he has to worry about are ranged units(this works because he inherits Lex's str growth). And, considering that the children will have decent Hp and defence thanks to lex, tthey can survive for a while even at half hp.
Thor Odinson
And seeing that the tome weight for Thunder is uniform throughout, giving one of them Tron does the trick. Their mag arne't even that bad anyway. Tinny almost hit 20. Edited June 14, 2010 by Luminescent Blade
Dark Sage
Mine are: AiraxLex AideenxMidir LachesisxAzel SylviaxNobody FuryxClaude TiltyuxLevin BriggdxBeowulf Now you notice I said Briggd/Beowulf instead of Holyn. This is because Pursuit is a citizen skill for Beowulf, meaning that Patty can inherit it. Not only that, but Wind Sword is C rank and combine it with a magic ring and Patty is a good distance attacker and is a fine thief. That and Beowulf has pretty good stats, and its impossible to screw up Faval. I'm surprised no one tried this pairing.
Reno
Briggd/Beowulf Very interesting pairing, i might try that after my subs playthrough. My Favorites stats-wise are Ayra x Hoyln Aideen x Midir Lachesis x Beo/Fin Sylvia x Generic Enemy Fury x Levin Tiltyu x Azel Briggid x Dew/Holyn/Lex Edited June 24, 2010 by Reno
Archsage17
Since i've played this fire emblem many times this is what i've gathered Ayra-Lex for the Elite, Ambush and Def Holyn for Lunar sword and his growths are swordfight type Noish for critical (its actually really fun to use on Ayra's kids) Adean-Jamka since he's IMO the better bowman but he doesnt have pursuit Midayle since he has pursuit Finn ok it sounds odd but he has Prayer and Pursuit plus his growths are pretty good Lachesis-Finn (see adean) Beowulf since he is Delmud's class and decent Azel this gives Nanna a decent mag growth for staves and Delmud can utulize magic swords Alec i only tried this once but went pretty well both kids have pursuit and nihil Sylvia-Levin this gives Corple LOLStey and some interesting skills but give Levin an elite ring for Corple Claude a fine pairing Corple gets Valkyrie Azel this gives Corple mag for combat and pursuit Fury-Levin since Sety becomes GOD and Phee turns out good Claude this gives Sety Valkyrie and Phee is a magical tank Azel gives fala blood and Sety can use fire magic Briggid-Holyn IMO the best pairing since Patty gets lunar sword and she can use more swords Dew allows Ichival price reduction which is always nice Jamka works well with Faval being an archer an all but Patty will NEED training Tltyu-Azel gives fala blood along with their mother's tordo blood for the perfect mage duo Levin makes Artur a god with LOLsety and look Tinny is kick-butt Lex an odd pairing indeed but it gives the almighty Wrath/Ambush combo so the kids can raise themselves alone along with elite Edited June 25, 2010 by Archsage17
