It seems simple.

All skills effect the person's opponent are negated while fighting.

Explain to me how adrenaline can just be ignored, then. Or how suddenly, you can't parry a blow. Or how you can't protect someone who is being attacked.

MAGIC :awesome:

Wrath, Vantage, Resolve, Miracle, Prayer, Charisma, all that good stuff, won't work when fighting the person with Nihil.

That's Adrenaline, good sir, and you can't really ignore that. Vantage is getting the drop on the opponent, and Wrath is methodically destroying your opponent. Again, should not be effected by someone else having a certain skill. No, Nihil should be out.

Well, it works in the games with no explanation

PRO TIP: This is not the games. There needs to be explanations for skills like that. And getting blessed by the Goddess reeks of ass-pull. So, no.

Blessing makes sense though.

Considering the state of the Goddess, No it does not.

<_<

Then they have some charm or something?

Psych, give me one good reason why said charm would nullify adrenaline and skills, and I'll think about it.

It slows down the wearer's pulse, giving them more time to react?

It lets them focus on details to see openings?

It makes them predict the opponent's next move?

1: How does slowing down their pulse give them reaction time?

2: Does not shut down opponents' adrenaline.

3: Borderline god-mod, right thar. And that would be for more of a evasion skill.

In short, try harder, or, better yet, give up.

1. Let's them think clearly, and shut down skills. >_>

2. It helps them see what the skill does to find how to shut it down.

3. Eh. You asked for a reason. I don't really see a need for evasion skill.

Bold: How do you shut down adrenaline?

Adrenaline, would make people think unclearly and want to fight. Thinking clearly would negate adrenaline and have them calm down.

...

So, you're saying it calms the other person down? What. Thing is, with Wrath, Thinking clearly is bad. It just makes them all the more methodical. No sell.

Name: Resolve

Activation: Passive

Effect: Multiplies unit's primary offensive stat, speed, and skill, by 1.5 (rounded down), when unit is 33% health or lower. This speed only adds .5 evasion. Only available to 4 STR/MAG and under classes.

I dont get this. It multiples a stat by 1.5 rounding down? Wont that be multiplying by 1 then?

Kai, it means, if for example, the bonus is added to a 3, it would be 4, not 4.5 or 5.

Update: For Snowy's Convenience.

-Keen Edge needs to be change from a -2 STR for + one to skill die, to a passive, +-1 Crit modifier, without any costs.

-Heroic Stand needs to change to +2 STR/SKL/LUK for 2 HP.

-Pavise is added as an action for Cavs, Knights, Loldiers, and Heroes. Forfeits battle phase for 50% damage reduction. Flat 6 EXP.

-Healing exp Buff to 8.

-Class Change means all raw stats up by 1.

Did we ever decide what to do about gaining skills on promotion? I remember Bal suggesting that we forfeit three points of our choosing or something like that, but did was that ever accepted?

I believe it was 3 points of your choice. Class skills are auto-gained, IIRC.
