...No Fire Emblem again. :(

I mean if Kid Icarus and Donkey Kong of all franchises were shown, why not FE? We haven't seen anything brand new for years there either. Just remakes ever since Radiant Dawn. I was thinking maybe IS was saving the big announcement of a brand new game for E3, but I guess it wasn't so.

Still, it's great to see DK back in action, as well as footage of Skyward Sword.

Nintendo appealing to fans with the whole DKC/Kid Icarus/Goldeneye/Golden Sun strategy certainly beat out Microsoft's "GUYS WE HAVE MOTION CONTROLS LOOK XBOX SPORTS AREN'T WE ORIGINAL" approach.

You forgot Kirby.

Ooh, Paper Mario? That sounds awesome! Well, if it's more like SPM than the other games, that is. I liked the platforming aspect of it better than the turn based system.

Well wait, IS makes Paper Mario too. Maybe if they're making that for the 3DS, they'll make a Fire Emblem game for it too. :3

Yeah, me too. Fire Emblem gets too much neglect in these things. It's even worse than Ninty's neglecting Luigi (Luigi even got voted the character who most deserves a new game). Honestly, I bet you anything it'd be more well-known and therefore likely more popular if it were shown at E3 and such more often.
