"She's probably just an idiot." surmised Morgan. "It seems to be a common trait among Crimson Weapon wielders, I can easily picture Isotov or Helios doing the same thing. Goddess knows we can't have intelligent, sensible people tasked with saving the world, it has to be those who were dropped on their heads as children."

"Since you're coming with us, you'll find out soon enough."

"Um, Morgan. Don't you also use a Crimson weapon? I think we should take her dagger, the guide, and leave her here for the wyverns. We owe them a meal after slaughtering half their tribe."

Cess dismounted his horse, and walk over to the two girls arguing.

"Don't worry about it Reika, it's just a flesh wound, though I guess it couldn't hurt to use a vulnerary," he conceded.

"Either way, where do you want to go? Halton or Talvolo, the port town I told you about? Before you trust us, we still have to decide where to go,"

Morgan rolled her eyes at Cess "I was not talking about myself obviously."

"We need as many Crimson Weapons as possible. Leaving her here for wyvern food would probably be beneficial in some ways, but allowing the Lord of Azure Flame to win is too great of a risk."

"It's not that simple. The weapons don't just come off. It takes someone of super-natural origin to even think of severing a dagger, and even then someone of great power, and even THEN I would think they could only get about half the weapon. Trust me; I've tried several times to get it removed. From sleazes to shamans to witch doctors. Nothing worked and there's no supernatural left in this world."

Reika shrugged again, her shoulders might fall off if she kept doing so. "So I suppose you're the smart Crimson weapon wielder in the group" Reika retorted, more amused then insulted. she frowned then took a step back. Immediately sensing the suspicion directed at her.

"Reika from Araphane, occupation stealing, killing and other little nasty jobs you mercenaries are too good to perform, apparently I own the Crimson Daggers, and will be? Forcefully or voluntarily joining your merry little band of criminals. Would you be willing to provide your own names, or should I just give you all nicknames?"

Isotov and Irina

Iso: You blew up the wagon ... wow ... and they call me the arsonist.

Irina: (You're rubbing off on her clearly <_< ) I wonder what they're going to do with Reika. If we just let her walk around she's going to pick fights or something. We've got enough of that.

Iso: Katie can just blow her up.

Irina: I'm serious!

"I do not know how to sever the weapons myself. Supposedly some demons can do it, though that would be rather counterproductive. Some magic can do it as well, though I do not know how and we would risk losing the weapon. Hence, she's joining us." Morgan proclaimed.

Charlotte scowled at the news.

"Morgan." she said in response to Reika's request. "The others can decide if they want nicknames or not."

Reika sighed, and lifted her hand infront of her face, "Calamity" she muttered as the daggers appeared in her hand, making some of the others react. "No point in taking them, I can summon them whenever I want, clearly you don't have one of these useful little tools" she said rolling her eyes.

"Arsonist?" Reika asked amused, "demolition history?" she asked Katie not really understanding what a mute was. "And Esphyr, think I might of seen you in Darien, can't remember I suppose that makes you one of the chosen ones with these flashy toys" she said indicating calamity before the daggers disappeared into thin air.

"Do not refer to them as 'flashy toys'" warned Morgan. "They are essential tools for defeating the Lord of Azure Flame and are to be treated as such." she said with a glare at Reika.

"Arson?" asked Charlotte nervously. "I'm beginning to think you were named criminals for a reason" :(

Reika laughed as the shamaness snapped at her "Tools, toys, what's the difference? You use them to kill stuff, I use them to kill stuff, so I don't really see a difference but if you insist, they can be tools, tools I play with in my spare time, and rob people with, every thiefs ideal throwing knife" she finished smirking at Morgan.

"Well, let's decide something and get moving. The sun is coming up." Cess went and got back on his horse. He started slowly heading down into the valley, waiting for the others, hoping to reach a town soon.

Morgan sighed. Reika was already trying her patience. "We will have to pass through Melisia to get to either Halton or Talvoro. Let's get a move on." she said, walking forward boldly.

"Look here's the thing. I'm escorting Reika through the mountain already, so if you want me to help you out, you have to take her as well, and since you can't remove her daggers from her and she's essential to saving the world, it would make sense for you to keep her," explained Alferis.

Isotov and Irina

Iso laughed at Katie's note.

Iso: Now you see how I feel. I torch one bandit and start a small fire, and suddenly I'm an arsonist bandit or some such nonsense. Well misery loves company, so I'm happy to have you in my little fire club ^_^

Irina: So we can leave you guys behind if the authorities come looking for arsonists right?

Iso: No.

Irina: (But it'd give you a chance to make out in private ^_^ )

Isotov and Irina

Iso: Should've set you on fire instead of the bandit <_<

Irina quickly covered Iso's mouth and turned to Morgan!

Irina: Don't mind him, he's just annoyed that no one will let the inn incident go :sweatdrop:

She quickly pulled Iso in close so that even Katie could barely hear what she was going to say!

Irina: Listen you jerk. I'm not choosing between you and my boss so just shut it and deal with her comments.

Iso: ... how about this ... how about you convince her to just shut up?

Reika eyed Alferis suspiciously, he was either plotting to use her for something or was one of those idiot church people who offered to look after children for free. And seeing as how he didn't look like a churchie he was most likely the former.

She thought about it was a second, perhaps Alferis was working with her employers? Or perhaps was delluded like the shamaness, Morgan? Into thinking that he played some role in this big miserable world. Either way she'd have to be careful of the man, even if he had saved her life earlier, caution had yet to hurt her.

Her thoughts were quickly interupted by the red haired man, and the woman who liked writing. And after the exchange she couldn't help but laugh at the group. "You weren't joking when you said Crimson weapon wielders had be dropped on their head were you?"

Isotov and Irina

Iso: Dropped on our heads?! You're the one getting beaten by a wind mage every time you show your face, Miss Spy.

Irina: ... he's got a point there, but Iso we shouldn't even be talking to her if it's not necessary.

Iso: I just felt like pointing that out. If she's got a superiority complex we should deal with it early on, don't you think?

Irina: Well I'm going to stay out of this one, thanks.

"When did I lose to your green haired bad-gas mage?" Reika retorted, "I'd complain about that comment, but you're apparently the group arsonist responsible for the fire back near Vaorin, and I owe you for drawing the guards out after you, made the occupation alot easier." Not really at all surprised by the groups response she turned to Alferis

"You can go back if you want, if you require a cancellation fee I'll pay it, I doubt being near these obnoxious fools is going to be any fun, and you said you wanted to live a clean life, joining a band of criminals isn't a good start" she said pulling out a pouch and getting ready to pay him head back to Hamburg.

"I am no criminal, thief." said Charlotte defiantly. "I refuse to have my name slandered by your lies and I demand that you take them back." She crossed her arms and looked at Reika expectantly.
