Can someone explain what a module is in Nightmare?

I know it's something that Nighrmare edits but I don't know what that "something" is. I'm trying to make changes to FE6 but all I can do is open the ROM. Thank you for taking your time to read this

after opening a rom, you open module to edit the things in the game the module is specified to edit.

Can you elaborate on that? with an example?

Open up the rom with nightmare. Open up a module. Chose a module you want to use to edit the rom. Edit the rom. Just as simple as that. 'Course it wont work till you try it out for yourself.

So basically, I just make the change and that's the module? and I just use that option and apply it to the game?

First you apply then hit save rom.
